We’ve been regular repeat visitors to Pelangi Beach Resort since the early 1990s, when we used to bring our children. We make a point of driving to other new resorts in Langkawi whenever they pop up.. But nothing compares to Pelangi!! The beautifully landscaped, wooden chalet concept is like living in a village but with fantastic resort facilities. Staff are super helpful, friendly and hard-working. They always make us feel like we’re returning to see close family. We enjoyed the food buffets in the different restaurants, as well as the entertainment (Pelangi Lounge and Pelangi Grill). Not to mention the beautiful stretch of Pantai Cenang alongside the resort. Can’t rate Pelangi high enough, whether it’s for families or couples.

Very attentive and friendly helpful staff in entire hotel. Room is very spacious and clean, buffet breakfast is superb, nice coffee too. The locals there are also very friendly and always willing to help/guide the tourists and they are open to sharing information of Langkawi.

There are few pros and cons points worth to be highlighted: Pros 1. Staff - all of the staffs are well trained and very polite. Cons 1. Check in - this is the first time as a local malaysian, I need to provide I/C for each of my family members who is going to stay here. When i asked the receptionist, she said it’s part of the resort policy as it is a so called “4/5 star resort”. (I never encountered this situation at other 4/5 stars hotel) It’s weird, but they do implement this policy 2. Breakfast - for a 4/5 star resort, the available menu is super basic and not meeting my expectations. Egg also ala carte with additional charges if you want to request extra 3. Room cleanliness - theres a lot of cockroaches here. Im not joking!! Summary Not recommended. With a total of almost RM600 per room per night spend, there’s a lot of better options.

I booked the room for our retired colleague. He was so happy with the service given by the hotel staff. The staff also were so kind that they helped me to like doing small decorations to celebrate my him. The hotel is closed to Pantai Tengah beach. The sunset was beautiful during the stay. The infinity pool was even better.

I highly recommend aloft , hospitality, the amenities , pool and breakfast spread is excellent . We had a awesome stay and already are missing the hotel .

The location is good in the town of Kuala Langkawi. The apartment has a large living room and complete supporting facilities. There is also a swimming pool and a simple gym on the eighth floor. The hygiene is also ok. It is convenient for eating and shopping nearby. It is not far from the pier. The landlord is a beautiful woman who can speak Chinese. She is very polite and patient. Not only did she agree to make advance changes in the itinerary, but she also helped arrange the two-day tour itinerary and followed up all the way. It was a very cost-effective apartment stay experience

Smooth checked in. Spacious room. Magnificent view. Friendly staffs. Many parking available. Relaxing pool for the kids. Great taste for the room service menu. Good price and service for the spa. The hotel is fine, free parking available. Beautiful view and swimming pool. The hotel is under renovation, so some parts still ugly and undone. RM100 deposit required and RM3 cukai langkawi. During checkout, they asked you to wait for the room to be checked first. If ok, they will return your deposit. Paid for RM300 but feels like RM50 hotel haha.. wth I asked for extra shower gel but they gave us the soap bars, I wanted the shower gel but they said that is shampoo, not shower gel, but im pretty sure i can read well haha I just accept that maybe they dont want to give. And i would request for extra bottled water, they refused my request either. It is not worth to upset the guest on little things that won't make much difference on your business profit. They need to uplift on that too. It would ruin the entire stay. The hotel wasn't packed too, it was low season.

Everything ok, strategic location, but 1 things need to be improve is their bed. I think it's a time for theme to change their mattress due to condition already out. The rest is just fine.
