Ulasan Penarak Bamboo Beach Motel

We arrived with each of us with a big and a small backpack. First we had to take off our shoes to enter the reception. The hotel seemed not to have much guests but we were given a room in the second floor and there is no elevator. We had booked only one night to get the ferry at 7:30 am. Therefore we asked at the reception if Grab would be available early in the morning and as we could get no answer, we asked for a phone number for calling a taxi but received the reply that she does not know any number. In the morning no Grab was available and from three taxi numbers we found with Google, one replied that it was too far and the others did not pick up the phone. We had to walk with all our luggage about 30 minutes to the Jetty. Poor service, bad location for taking an early ferry. Room was very clean and spacious but air condition blasting directly to the bed and to cover yourself in the bed there is only the heavy bed day cover that we doubted to be washed after every guest, so we were happy to have brought our own sleeping bag. There is a list with rules including that not married couples and alcohol is not allowed. If you search for a hotel to get the ferry, better book one more far away from Jetty but closer to the Center of Kuah, so that you will be able to take a taxi.
