Train noise middle of night, track 25 feet outside motel. Street noise not a problem.

2 night stay, only hotel in town. Reasonably priced and it is what it is meant to be, very basic and not the Ritz. Could use a little lighter color scheme throughout but just an observation. Room was clean, bathroom looked to be remodeled. Tub was slippery even with nonslip tape but the shower pressure was good. Hard water. Bring your toiletries, they have them but they do not dispense very well. Bed was comfortable enough. Appears that you can not control the AC but we did not need it. TV worked fine. Fridge & microwave a plus. No coffee/food offered/available that we found, (again budget friendly). It is on a main ***** so you do hear some noise but not too bad when we were there. Could not open curtain so was darker in the room, no natural light. Front desk person was helpful and pleasant enough. The Mexican restaurant a few doors down is awesome. Conveniently located near convenience store/gas and a few blocks to the grocery store. We would stay again.

The place was surface clean, until you started looking at the mattresses, the bed frames, the corners in the bathroom floor. Very dirty and had not been cleaned for what looked like years. They only provide you with 1 towel each to use for your entire stay, and they were not what I would call white. They were very dingy and gray looking. I would not recommend this place at all. The ice machine had not been cleaned in what looked like years. Very moldy and dirty ice.

Room was clean, however the room smelled like old nicotine. For a hotel that was supposed to be smoke free, it sure didn't smell like it.

We all know this is a cheap option. But must control oddors there. Smells like a big kitchen were pretty close to the rooms. Other than that sufficient option to pass by and rest for the continuing of the trip.

It was an ok stay, the room was clean but the bathroom had soap dispensers on the wall that were either empty or did not dispense any soap. It was not fancy but that was ok since we had other things to do and only needed a place to stay.

The woman at the front desk was rude to my husband over the price we found on line, then she took my phone from him and Signed into my phone with her own internet and password. The internet was non existent. There was bugs crawling across the floor in the lobby. The first floor rug was so filthy it was just gross. No elevator. The lock on the back door was broken so it was unlocked all night.

We stayed overnight here before going to Valleyfair; it was much more affordable than staying someplace closer. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Having a microwave and refrigerator were greatly appreciated; a Holiday station and Subway are nearby. We enjoyed a quiet evening. Only downside is we couldn't find any movie channels; everything you watched had commercials. DirectTV's music channels were not available for customers to enjoy. Overall, though, a great place to spend a September evening.

Owners are very nice and love that they make me feel comfortable and cared for! Also, I really enjoy how family oriented they are!!

Room was very nice. It was clean, beds very nice. All good. Out side of buildibg looks a bit raggy but rooms were very nice and lady at desh was nice.i would stay there again.

The price for the room was very nice. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. $214 total. The room was clean, TV worked well, bed was comfortable. Water was hot and plentiful in the shower. The only item that bothered me was the noisy bath fan. It ran every time the bathroom light was switched on. It needs to be fixed or replaced. The property is not new, but well kept. Though could not get ice machine to work. It was pretty quiet even though it was on Main Street. Holiday Gas Station about 100 yards away. Great for coffee and snacks because the room had no coffee pot. The refrigerator worked well to keep drinks and snacks in. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a basic sleep, clean-up and relaxing time. The price versus quality was acceptable to us.

deceiving from the outside. Rooms were very clean, nice and comfy. No breakfast was not available but home many times of the same breakfasts can you eat.

Quiet location in very close proximity to restaurants, gas stations, & local grocer. I like the "greenness" of the refillable dispensors for hand soap, lotion, shampoo & body wash. But housekeeping needs to assure that none are empty prior to customer check-in.
