Comfortable, modern serviced apartments right in the centre of Leeds, steps away from the train station. Building beautifully restored, keeping fabulous original features such as the curving staircase while giving it all a contemporary vibe. We stayed twice while visiting family at the start and end of a tour of the dales - both apartments overlooked the square which made for great people watching but the whole building was very quiet. One apartment's layout was slightly better than the other but both very comfortable and clean and having a washing machine and kitchen made the trip much easier. The concierges could not have been lovelier or more helpful - uber currently gets very confused by the roadworks downtown but the frontdesk was happy to book taxis. Definitely plan on using these apartments as our base when visiting Leeds again,

This was our second time staying at the Dakota in Leeds! I have to say that personally, this is my favourite Dakota. Our room was once again perfect (9th floor). Beautiful and clean with a stunning evening view of the city. We had drinks at the bar a couple of times over our stay and each time, the waiting staff were so lovely. Our whole trip was just what we were looking forward to. Can’t wait to stay over again soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Every member of staff couldn’t have been more helpful from the minute I walked in the door and you can tell it wasn’t a script. Gorgeous food at dinner and breaks fast was piping hot. Room had 2 double beds, spotless. I’ll always stay here now when I’m in our Leeds office

Arrived at the hotel at around 10:30 am to drop bags off as check in at 3. We could check in early but needed to upgrade room. We’d booked using a Red Letter Days voucher and had already upgraded that so decided to wait. Was surprised even after returning a couple hours later that there were still no rooms available at all. We ended up checking it at 7 pm because of plans we had that day. The room was fine, it was clean and comfortable. It was located directly above reception and was extremely noisy. This felt like possibly the worst room in the hotel for noise pollution and its neighbours 116, 117. We didn’t sleep much at all and had we been there another night we would have asked if a move was possible. Breakfast the next day was fantastic. The food was delicious and the selection was great for us. We had some yoghurt and a full English, there was also toast and cereal selections as well as some pastries and fruit juice that you help yourself to.

The check-in was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. But there was a bit of noise outside maybe from an adjacent building. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and plenty of food was available. There was no bath soap in the container which means the cleaners were not checking. Apart from that my stay was excellent. I recommend the hotel.

Warm welcome (and Au revoir) by Daisy. Large hotel foyer with amazing Christmas tree /decorations. Room spacious and nice views of the canal. Ground floor bar good, Sky Bar amazing!! Less than 10 minutes walk to Leeds Trinity Shopping Centre. Leeds Arena 20 minutes, pleasant walk at top end of city. Drinks at this hotel cheaper than at the arena and you don’t get given an half pint plastic glass for your wife’s Prosecco!! Preferred Double Tree to the Hilton hotel positioned on busy main road. Staff all genuinely friendly, credit to the hotel.

Well yes, this is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for but I wouldn’t stay again. It was more like a hotel box than a hotel room. No window, not a single piece of furniture or a kettle, just a bed with barely space to walk around it. Shabby decor, with a stained ceiling from what must have been a water leak at some point, painted over very badly. On the plus side, very central, clean and functional shower room and it was quiet.

Just across the road from the train station so ideally located in the city centre. Check in is real easy and the staff very friendly and helpful. Not that I watched the TV but they have decent sized TV's in the rooms too...
