Hotel berhampiran Sint Salvatorshofje, Leiden

It was a very pleasant experience - staff is very friendly and supportive, atmosphere is welcoming, CORPUS museum is just in front and might be a great place to visit with children, breakfast is delicious, the absolute highlight of the breakfast is the Chef who made my omelette with a big smile :) room was not big but fits well for 3 guest - the bed and the sofa bed both were comfortable. Silent environment. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Hilton Leiden Team:)

Just had a lovely week at the Nh Conference Centre. For people that had “done Amsterdam and want to see a bit of the real Netherlands it’s a fantastic base. The public transport system means it’s accessible even if you have not got the use of a car. Situated in the bulb fields but a quick cycle to the beach. The staff are brilliant, ALL were great helpful, and fun. BREAKFAST, was fantastic and so much choice. The Wellness suit was immaculate. The whole experience was great.

I am not going to lie. I wasn't expecting too much from this hotel. Not because the pictures weren't nice but because we booked it hurriedly, and purely for the convenience of it being next to a friend's wedding venue. But boy were we pleased by the big spacious clean rooms. And to add to that the customer service was impeccable and everyone was very nice. The food here was quite good but for me what really made my stay at this hotel was that after booking an extra night with them at the last moment, they gave us a room overlooking the bird park. So on the morning of waking up, I could tea and breakfast staring into the beautiful eyes of an inquisitive ostrich. So cute. I loved my stay at this hotel, it was so clean and calm and peaceful and with my free pass to the park, I had plenty of time to get to know their many many bird species. My favourite is officially the Hornbill and the enclosure with circling Ravens. And as an addendum, for anybody like myself recovering from surgery, this is actually a great place to relax and unwind with a little privacy, and to simply kick back and recover with full room service and friendly staff on hand to make sure your stay is as relaxing as can be. The only thing this hotel is missing is a spa! I am In love with this hotel.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en doet zijn haar best om het zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken voor haar gasten. Mooie uitzicht vanaf 4e verdieping. 1 minpunt is geen raam die verder open kan en geen.

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer

We hebben maar 1 nacht in het Kurhaus geslapen. Dus we hebben niet van alle faciliteiten, gebruik kunnen maken. Maar wat we gezien en beleefd hebben was uitstekend. De volgende keer 2 nachten dus.

Wir sind ganz spontan (einen Tag vorher gebucht) in den Niederlanden angekommen und zusammen mit unserem Hund eingecheckt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und im Zimmer stand schon eine Hundeschale mit Ball und Leckerlies bereit. -Ach so, wir waren im Erdgeschoss im Altbau untergebracht. Die Zimmergröße war ok. Allerdings fehlt jegliche Ablagefläche für einen Koffer und einen Schrank gab es auch nicht, lediglich ein offenes Regal mit ein paar Kleiderbügeln. Auch im Bad gab es lediglich 2 Haken für Handtücher und leider gab es im Bad auch keine Heizung....das war ordentlich kalt. Leider waren auch Flecken in der Bettwäsche vorhanden, ich vermute mal, die sind bei der Wäsche nicht rausgegangen...nicht schön. Die Betten sind nicht gerade bequem, aber wir sind ansonsten Wasserbettschläfer, denke da sind wir verwöhnt. Der Außenbereich war etwas ”schrammelig”, die Leihfahrräder lagen mehr oder weniger vor der Tür im Dreck. -Eigentlich alles Sachen, die man mit sehr wenig Aufwand etwas ansprechender gestalten könnte. Ja, ich kann meinen Vorrednern nur zustimmen, es ist sehr hellhörig. Unschlagbar ist aber die Lage, ca. 100 m und da ist man schon am Strand und zum Pier sind es vielleicht 5 bis 10 Minuten Fußweg. -Aber hey, wir haben für 2 Nächte 180 € gezahlt und ich denke, dass Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt und ich will nicht groß meckern. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren auswärts frühstücken. Da wir zum Glück Superwetter hatten und sowieso nur zum duschen und schlafen da waren, war es für mich echt ok und konnte damit leben. -Ich denke, es ist wirklich nur was für Leute, die nur kurz da bleiben wollen. Für einen längeren Zeitraum ist das Hotel leider ungeeignet.

I love Novotel as a chain, and have stayed at this hotel before and was quite happy. This time I felt things were a little off and I wasn't as satisfied. I seem to recall getting a free bottle of water in the room, which it appears is not included anymore. No more individual shower gels and soaps, but now big pumps of soap, which is OK if you have the complete set of them. Yes, it's more environmentally friendly but it's also a sign of cost-cutting. Breakfast was more or less the same -- good choice and quality -- except on a busy weekend they seemed totally overwhelmed and people had to queue to get a table. On a quieter morning, I noticed a sign stating one can request omelettes and poached eggs from the kitchen, so I did, and this dish never materialized, which was a little awkward. The fresh orange juice machine is awful: constant noise and queues of people taking ages to each make one glass of juice, as it requires that the user slice the orange and then ram each half, one at a time, into the machine, yielding a tiny amount of juice. Repeat for 6 or 7 oranges to get a glass... It would be funny to watch as slapstick if it weren't so annoying to listen to. On the positive side, the rooms are still attractive, comfortable, and quiet.

I reserved a hotel with bath inside the room. When we arrived it was farely busy in the hotel due to the check in times. We waited for 20 minutes to check in and were told we got upgraded to a wellness room with a sauna. We took a walk along the beach which is litteraly in front of the hotel and we enjoyed a nice jacuzzi and sauna the rest of the evening. With a stunning view along the beach and city. Yes it was pricey! And parking in front of the hotel is 25€ per day or 6,50€ per hour which is really expensive (the hotel cant do anything about the parking fees because of the government, but maybe public transport is an option for you) Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. And dont forget you get access to their own wellness included with your room!
