El Hostel tienen diferentes opciones de alojamiento por lo que me gustaria destacar que la siguiente opinion es sobre ”Cama en habitación compartida mixta de 10 camas” que es el espacio que conocimos. La ubicacion del Hostel es inmejorable en pleno centro de Liubliana a escasos metros del puente de los Dragones y demas encantos. Ademas si llegas en bus o tren estas a una distancia comoda andando. El espacio en si es un lugar amplio con entrada directa desde la calle con tarjeta distribuido en literas de dos personas, donde segun cuando llegues podras optar por una mas confortable o no. A modo de ejemplo una de luuces de los dos baños daba directa a las dos literas proximas, lo que suponia que si en la noche alguien necesitaba usarlo molestaba a estas dos personas. En general la estacion estuvo correcta y lo recomendaria para una estancia breve, la atencion del personal es muy atenta y servicial.

The location is good and the room is clean.
I would just like to highlight the friendliness of the same. The hotel manager is very polite, but some staff are not that friendly. Maybe it's their way of talking but as you are in the service industry you need to smile more and be more friendly.

We started our trip from. Germany on our way to Croatia and stopped in Ljubljana. With heavy rain e arrived at the hotel and were surprised at the friendliness of the reception lady, tape of hotel *nice mix of hostel and hotel and the variety of people !!

We stayed in a top cabin and it was bigger and better than expected. Mattres was fine and the people of the hotel was nice. Bathrooms are shared but at least there's private shared baths so you don't have to shower in the same room that everyone else. Worst part is that the stairs to go to the bed are very uncomfy. Overall, was nice and we would go back.

A disappointing experience. The room was nice and clean, but the bathroom was another matter, the light was useless - no matter whether you wanted to shave or put on makeup, you could not see what you were doing. And the makeup mirror was impossible to use unless you were very tall. And what is a bidet doing in the bathroom, why isn’t it in the toilet room??? The restaurant that is advertised doesn’t exist, the only place you can find something to eat is the overpriced lounge bar. The room service menu is that of the same lounge bar, which means that you can’t just have a sandwich or something else light. They say that for hygiene reasons you can’t take a cup of coffee and any food from the breakfast buffet to your room, I wonder where you eat if you were to order room service ?? The staff were somewhat patronising, close to being rude. The hotel is not at all what it pretends to be, or would like to be. I won’t be staying there again

We stayed here for our first visit to Slovenia and this place was very impressive overall. The staff were really friendly and helpful - we were given a map of the city and information about the buses on arrival which was very useful to get us started on our trip. The room was very comfortable, the bed was roomy and the mattress was the perfect firmness. The bathroom was nice and modern and the shower was very powerful. The aircon was a bit weak and could do with upgrading, but we weren't too hot while we were staying there. The bar area was very nice to chill and have some drinks and the service was always prompt. We hadn't realised prior to booking that the hotel did not serve evening meals, but this was not too much of an issue as we ordered take out using the Wolt app and went out for meals in the city. The breakfast selection was outstanding and we really enjoyed the mini pastries and the fresh coffee. There is also a Lidl right next to the hotel which was very handy for snacks and toiletries if needed. The bus into the city was just outside the hotel and was very cheap (just €1.30 into the city centre) and only took around 15 minutues. It was a great way to see the area and they ran every 20 mins or so. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others. A big thank you to all of the hotel staff who made us feel very welcome and made our trip very smooth.

It was comfortable and clean. Located near residential area The shower is ok and bed and mattress is comfortable too! But the worst part is that the one and only lift broke down on the day that we checked out. We were struggling like hell to bring our large bags down the stairs without any help from the hotel staff. Only later, i heard that there were one or two helpers from the hotel assisting those who need to bring their luggage down.

NNaveen inder singhHad a nice stay at this hotel but the hotel has some issues. Biggest one of them being parking and carrying luggage to the hotel as there is no way you can park closer to the hotel. On top of it, its a cobbled street. Say goodbye to you bag wheelies…
Secondly, being a 4star property, i would atleast expect a 24hr reception desk. Had a call from trip.com office regarding my eta to the hotel as they would close the reception desk after 10pm and we wouldnt be able to check-in if there is no staff. Thankfully staff stayed late as our flight was super delayed (Perfect easyjet moment) and checked us in before we could head out and get dinner which was past 10:45pm and almost none of the restaurants were serving dinner. So much for the first magical evening in Ljubljana!!!!
Thirdly, there is no lift being an old building which is self explanatory, but travellers with heavy luggage should be warned in advance.
Fourthly, as for the breakfast we expected a proper coffee from a 4star property, but instead there is only a small coffee machine which dispenses coffee on button press. Guys the coffee isnt nice. I would rather head downstairs to the main street with plenty of cafes around. Breakfast itself is just standard, nothing whao. For hot breakfast there is only one option - eggs (served 4 ways) wasnt great, wasnt bad!
Now for the good part, hotel is nicely decorated, clean, rooms are spacious, coffee machine and kettle inside the room. Clean towels, Comfy beds! A complimentary bubbly waiting for you in the fridge, somehow they knew you are exhausted from carrying your bags from the end of the street to the hotel and upstairs!!! 😫

PPengguna TetamuWe booked the spa package including 1 massage for 2 pers., discount to access the SPA, 1 romantic dinner and an executive room. Before our arrival, we tried to book massage and dinner as well as getting a confirmation that we could come with our cat. The staff was not super organized and did not provide a full answer to our questions. They can reserve the massage but not the spa (you have to write the spa directly to book your time there). We never got an answer for the cat. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Amir, gatekeeper, who happened to be very kind and one of the most helpful person in the hotel. Kindly organized parking for us, helped with our journey to the city center and made great recommendations. During check-in, we were kindly offered an upgrade to a top floor room and informed that they will look into the possibility to remove the pet supplement as we could not get a confirmation from their side before our arrival. (Spoiler : at the end we paid). The room was really nice, including a fluffy bed and an amazing bathroom (bath, large Italian shower, private sauna and double sink). The room had large windows offering a wonderful natural light. Minus : we called reception for maintenance as the mini fridge, one sink and the bathtub were broken and not useable… maintenance guy never came … Our time in the spa was amazing. Therapist did a really great job and really focused on making you feel good and relived. Particularly a big thank you to Bawo who really did magic. The whirlpool and saunas were very nice. Staff was on top definitely! Even if we booked 3h of spa access after 2h we had enough, the spa charged us only for the 2h we spent. Tip: book a massage + spa access for not too late in the day and not during weekend to enjoy some privacy. There is a gym in the hotel (you pay extra to access it) but it was a very nice one. Large with plenty machines. Breakfast was good and offered a large choice of classic continental food. Restaurant of the hotel was probably the biggest disappointment. Food was nice but it is not a restaurant but rather a lounge sportive bar. Not ideal for a so called romantic dinner… Do not expect romantisme there … really not at the level of the rest of the hotel and experience. General : the hotel was really nice and we spent a wonderful time as a couple. It has the potential to be excellent but sadly, could not make it due to the romantic dinner that was not one and the maintenance issue.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at this hotel in room 116 check in by Nina and Ervin both very polite friendly and professional the room was immaculate breakfast is very good quality multiple choices food in the restaurant is also very good staff are very pleasant and helpful Erwin the manager is exceptionally helpful and informative for him nothing is too much trouble he ensures the guests enjoy their stay for him nothing is impossible my stay was first class there are some shops close to the hotel and a good bus service to the city about 10 minutes they can also arrange a shuttle service to the hotel from the airport which is much cheaper than a taxi l would certainly come back again and highly recommend this hotel to others you will not be disappointed.

PPengguna TetamuGreat hotel - it’s a shame that the staff let it down.
Prior to our arrival, we contacted the hotel to let them know that we would be arriving after check-in had closed (at 10pm). They were very helpful and provided us with instructions to enter the property by ourselves using an app.
When we arrived, we managed to get into the lobby (using the app), but the room key we were given was different than the one we were told on the phone and email. As a result, we were unable to enter our assigned room.
Assuming that our room number had been changed, we tried the key in the door that matched the new number (as there were no staff or guests around, and no one was answering the phone or emails). It opened and revealed a couple, asleep, inside. Obviously, we were mortified that we had disturbed the hotel guests, and also terrified that we would have to sleep in the hotel lobby until check-in opened at 6am.
After about an hour of searching around the lobby for clues about who to contact, we knocked on some private doors. Thankfully, a man came out and used a master key to let us in. It was clear that we had woken him up (by this point it was 2am). Again, we were sorry to have done so, but were left with no choice.
After we had successfully entered our room, I sent an email to the front desk letting them know what had just happened and that we would like them to apologise (on our behalf) to the guests and staff we woke up. They never replied. In fact, every time we mentioned it, the staff member made excuses like “I wasn’t there so I don’t have anything to do with it” and “the guy who organised the late check-in was training so he made a mistake”. There was absolutely nothing in the way of an apology or compensation for the mix-up until we checked out and it was already too late. We would like the hotel to know that mistakes are bound to happen, so it is imperative that they have a back-up (emergency number or night staff) for guests who have been given the wrong room key.
In addition, since we had been travelling for a while, we were running out of clothes and needed to do a load of laundry. We followed the instructions for the housekeeping staff to collect our laundry but found that when we had returned to the hotel, the laundry had not been done and the room had not been made up. When we went downstairs to inform the staff of this, we were told “housekeeping doesn’t go back to rooms to clean them after you took off the do not disturb sign, I’ve worked in lots of hotels and this is always the policy”. This member of staff eventually helped us find an laundromat, but the contempt with which we were spoken to was unacceptable and uncaring of the fact that we, too, have plenty of experience in the hotel industry as customers. An apology would have sufficed.
Overall, it was a great hotel in a fantastic location. Just make sure you’re okay with passive aggressive communication before you book.

NNorthmaniaL'auberge n'est qu'a 5 minutes à pied de la gare, ne pas chercher l'entrée, la réception se fait dans le pub Anglais, il faut laisser une petite caution pour la clé à votre arrivée. Les chambres sont à l'étage de ce pub, elles sont spacieuses, les lits sont de bonne qualité, coffre sous le lit pour mettre ses affaires. Salle de bains et toilette propre et en nombre correct. Le centre-ville n'est qu'à 5-10 minutes à pied. Le petit point négatif est qu'il n'y a pas vraiment de réception en cas de besoin, ni de cuisine ou de salle commune. Bien pour quelques nuits.

DDanielReasonable private room hostel for the price. Good for a short stay. Very clean snd not too far from central Ljubljana. My only issues were the other guests were noisy snd did not respect the quiet hours rule - talking loudly in the hallway till late at night. Also the bed was not a queen bed as listed - it was two single mattresses pushed together- so I could only really sleep on one side.
