If you book a package holiday with transfers it’s around 2.5 hours from Barcelona. Make sure you have mobile Data because the bus drops you off near the museum and the hotel is only a few minutes walk but you might want to google map it. No help from the driver. The hotel is nice and looks quite modern from the inside. It’s is in a central location with the beach being around a 2 minute walk. Rooms have a fridge, safe, hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. The beds are comfy too. Our view was awful so if you can, pay for a better one. Rooftop pool and bar were stunning, mountain and sea views. Personally i wouldn’t bring children as the shallow end is over 5ft deep. The little spa isn’t there anymore either as shown on some photos. Only stayed for 4 nights so kept the do not disturb on but seemed like the maids come daily. Breakfast was nice, more continental which we don’t mind as we can have a “full English” every day in England and the coffee was delicious. Fresh pastries, jams and variety of breads, 2-3 options of cereal and a small amount of fruit. Variety of cheeses and meats and soft cheese on occasion. There were fried eggs and pancakes too. Strangely there were green beans and sprouts haha. Evening meal was awful and we are not fussy eaters. I get it’s a small hotel but this wasn’t our bag at all. However the desserts were lovely. We opted to go out after our second visit to the restaurant. Lloret is a lovely place and i would recommend a visit to the Castle which is only about 6-8 minutes walk.
