Hotel Crowne Plaza di London

The hotel was fantastic. Our room was outstanding - the bathroom in particular had both a bath and large shower which was lovely. 5 minutes walk from Terminal 4 and a useful shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel to go terminal 3, which we utilised. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were also extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here next time we fly through Heathrow.

I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.

Great convenient location, situated a few bus stops from Kings Cross station where there’s food and convenience stores. This is a good hotel for families, business and solo travelers. Room was clean and tidy. A little cramped but that is expected of London. Order grilled salmon from room service one night and Reshma was warm and friendly. The reception were super helpful and accomodating to my requests. I appreciate the staff providing me with the necessary support when I was sick. Overall, highly recommend this hotel.

Well to be honest if it wasn't for the location I wouldn't of stayed here. We paid 1800 on arrival and a 150 security deposit. But online we could of booked the same days for 1600 at the same hotel. The plugs would randomly turn off when using a hairdryer and then when switching to a phone charger the plug wouldn't work for some time. The safe was broken it wouldn't physically shut so it was unusable. When eating breakfast in the morning the hotel alarm malfunctioned so we had to evacuate but by the time it was fixed we had to leave to attend the venue so arrived there hungry. There was a TV package for 16 pound, we bought after waiting a few minutes for it to work we called the front desk and was told that it's not a thing and doesn't work. This was resolved later on but why have it as an option if it doesn't work? Someone was using our room number to get a free breakfast too as we wasn't asked our surname once but we was told someone was already down when our room number was used. We was still allowed our breakfast we was entitled to but not great being told that someone's already down in your name. Overall was good that it was close to the venue but wasn't happy with the price as it doesn't correlate with the experience or the room. Especially when we got charged an extra 200 than the prices online. If we could of cancelled we would of just booked again online the same day. Had no issues with the staff or cleanliness but the small issues along with the price felt like it wasn't worth what we was paying. We was also ”vip” guests but nothing about the experience felt VIP other than water being given and coffee table restocked.
