London Marriott Hotel Park Lane

We had the pleasure of staying here for one month from February into March. We were a business group of several rooms & the staff worked hard to ensure we were comfortable & well taken care of. Particular credit to: Segun, Kingsley, Anthony, Andrew, Marie, Martha, Vivian, Arjan, Jay, Alina & reception staff who were truly a credit to the hotel & individually deserve praise for going over and above in their service attitude. The Marriott should seriously be using these staff members to train others - I cannot praise them enough. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel - not to mention, it is nicely maintained, immaculate & in a wonderful central location!

Stayed for three nights. Great bed and pillows, room immaculate and kept very clean. Breakfast excellent, thank you to the lovely vivien and the other breakfast staff. Outstanding concierge and door men, excellent service from check in. A huge thank you to all staff, stayed all over the world and you are all exceptional. All in all a perfect stay

Stayed for 3 nights for a friends reunion and had the most amazing time. The staff are incredible, from the wonderful doormen to the reception and service staff. They are so professional cannot do enough for you. A special mention to Martha, who took extra special care of us, from breakfast to drinks and snacks. A real assett to the hotel. Thank you for an amazing stay, highly recommend.

Stayed for 9 nights recently. I was contemplating other options nearby but chose this at the end. I wasn't wrong. The location is perfect. Next to the tube, next to Hyde Park, next to Oxford Street and Supermarket as well. I cannot ask for more. The customer service is also extremely good. Not just the reception counter, but the cleaners, the bellboys, the restaurant staff, and the doorkeepers, all served with a smile and ever ready to assist. The room is well-furnished and just the right size. There is also a very nice indoor swimming with a steam room available as well. And the gym is well-equipped. Very convenient, especially when the weather is a bit too cold to do outdoor exercises. All in all, I would say this hotel is perfect. Will come back again if i were to stay on business trips in future.

We had a great 5-night stay to celebrate my birthday and do some sightseeing, we had been before and had never been disappointed with this hotel. From check-in with Magdelena who was lovely (many thanks for the upgrade) to check out all went very well. The rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable, and the bathrooms excellent. The Executive lounge had good food and drink offerings throughout the day. All of the staff were first class, helpful, and polite. we will beback

I had afternoon tea here with my mum - the food and drinks were absolutely amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the service! Our server Vivian was so lovely and made us feel completely at ease and well taken care of! It was such a nice experience and I’d highly recommend it to anyone

My daughter in law and I went for afternoon tea today ( 24/2/24). It was the very best one we have had, the sandwiches were like nothing I have seen so far, exquisite. Service and staff were wonderful. If you want afternoon tea with a difference this is the place to go.

Hotel is beautifully decorated and well kept. Rooms are spacious with good aesthetic. The bathroom is super elegant and beautiful with all the marble. The Hotel has good facilities. The fitness centre is not very spacious but well equipped. The spa was good but such a shame did not have a jacuzzi and sauna to be a more complete experience. We would recommend to have water dispenser near the pool (instead of having to grab from the gym) and more sun loungers (only 4x currently). Check in was not a pleasant experience. We arrived earlier so the room was not ready which was totally fine and not an issue at all as we wanted to have late lunch in the restaurant so we could wait there. Before heading to the restaurant we completed the lengthy check-in (that took around 20min) and she told us that later on only needed to grab the room keys/card. The issue was that when we come back from the restaurant at 4pm the other staff said that needed to check us in, we obviously said that was already done that but she added that needed to do the final checks and check the room etc…and this was another 10min. We already been in many 5 stars Hotels in the area of London, Europe and Worldwide, and this was the most desorganised and lengthy check-in we ever had. Aside of that, Staff is friendly and approachable. The concierge team and the doorman was super attentive and lovely. Good hotel but a few things could be improved to make our stay memorable and 5 starts worthy.

We have booked 2 rooms at Marriott Park Lane, visiting London with my family like every year, my parents have always loved to stay at the MPL, however we have all agreed that the standard got really bad, there was a leakage at my parents room, it took them 2 days to fix the problem, and shower trap was clogged with dirt, again the maintenance team had to visit the room twice over two days to have it fixed. My room had really bad smell day 1, and it always take couple of attempts to open my door as it gets jammed. I did report the problems to higher management, they replied instantly making me think I was mistaken of how I have judged them, but very soon later I found out that I was right when they sent me cute letter saying how sorry they are hehe -,- (Letter Attached) I am afraid MPL is no longer in my hotel's list for my upcoming trips to London, also if someone really insist to stay at one of the Marriott hotels there are some other hotels with great location. MPL offers some nice services, but it would be unfair to categories it as 5 star hotel as the competition in London is really high.
