Ulasan Villa Mahasok Hotel

I liked the hotel, nice rooms, clean and pleasant. The pool is also clean and the relaxation area is nice. Of the minuses, this is the breakfast, there is no buffet, as they show in the photo, I did not like the breakfast at all.

For a solo female traveler, the hotel is not a bad option. The location is about a 15-minute walk from the center, but still on a main road, which is somewhat busy — I found it convenient. They offer free city bikes; they’re pretty old and rusty, but they serve the purpose. I had a bad experience with cleanliness, as I noticed that the bedsheet on the mattress had not been changed — it was disgusting, and luckily I noticed it during the day. The duvet and pillows had been changed, though. I called reception, and the staff helped replace the sheet. The room was okay, the pool area is nice, and breakfast is quite limited. There was some noise from the pool area at night due to groups of friends gathering. Overall, it’s okay, but a huge minus for the cleanliness.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. Our room was big enough but the bathroom had nowhere to put your toiletries without getting wet. The TV was instead of fixed opposite the bed it was fixed on the side wall.🤔 The breakfast was more then plenty. They also had bikes free to use. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms were modest but very clean. The hotel was a 5-10 minute walk to the night market. The night market was in turn very close to the Old Town. There were tuk tuks everywhere if you ever wanted to go somewhere. The pool was excellent.

The hotel wasn’t an ideal match for me.The room was small and the shower and toilet were not in the best condition .The breakfast was good .

The hotel is not in the centre of Luang Prabang. Nevertheless, it is possible to reach everything on foot, since the city is very small. The breakfast is excellent, with always fresh fruit available and both Asian and continental food.

Fantastic location! Feels very quiet and peaceful inside, even though you’re right in the middle of the action. Nice pool area. My room was on the second floor which has a shared balcony style corridor overlooking the lily pond. Simple breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Great room with comfy bed, bath and fridge.

Really enjoyed our stay, we used the free bikes aswell. The only negative was the breakfast.

Excellent hotel, quick walk to food market, excellent room and breakfast area great way to start the day

Older hotel, 10-15 minutes from night market action. Wish there were a shower stall to keep bathroom floor dry. Quiet with a decent buffet breakfast. Sure wish we could have had bacon or sausage. Cats much in evidence in outdoor breakfast area.
