-The staffs are very friendly. Even though English is not their first language, they utilize translation app and enjoy the conversation with the guests. Very open-minded. -The room is super clean. -The location is a bit away from the historical area (30mins+ on foot) but you can enjoy the local life along the way to the area. It was my first trip to Laos, and only for two days, but it became a very pleasant stay. Would love to visit again.

酒店的裝修 軟硬件設施沒的說，早餐單點但品質很好。因為是家庭帶娃入住 ，分配的房間感覺整體偏暗，孩子洗澡會有些害怕；房間沒有電視，泳池偏小，酒店整體佔地麪積偏小，沒有建身房，可玩性不高。訂的是三人間，帶孩子加床還要加價800人民幣，一晚4500，感覺性價比稍低，不是適合親子的酒店。更適合英文好的，方便與管家溝通獲取更多酒店增值服務的信息的情侶入住。

I cannot express enough gratitude for the Sofitel team in Luang Prabang for creating such a warm, welcoming and accommodating stay. Across all departments, the staff went above and beyond, and collectively set a new standard for Service. Most notably Vard, Leng, Mr. Kao and Youth at the front desk, Mr. Umni, Keili and Souk from F&B and Mr. Anshul Sharma, the hotel Manager, who has done an exceptional job at leading the team and making the Sofitel, Luang Prabang a must stay haven in South East Asia. The hotel grounds were picturesque and serene, the rooms tastefully designed with ample space to luxuriate, the food (particularly breakfast) at Governors Grill delicious and fresh. But above all, the service was unlike any hotel I have stayed. From remembering the small details of our personal preferences, to recommending the best activities and experiences, to assisting with a medical emergency - my partner and I felt truly cared for. I am deeply grateful for such a beautiful and memorable Christmas and New Year, and we already look forward to our return!

We stayed here for 4 nights. First of all Luang Prabang was an overall pleasant experience. Very nice UNESCO controlled town. We stayed at Burasari. It is a very nicely done boutique hotel. The renovation from an older French home to a hotel is done very well. Big rooms, lots of nice wood in the rooms, and great location to be able to walk to the many restaurants in the area. We had very nice breakfasts each day, and enjoyed happy hours after our day of exploring. All of the staff was very nice, and helpful. One individual in particular, Mr. Vengseng really took a personal touch with us and helped make our stay that much better. Thanks Vengseng!

Spokój, komfort, bezbłędnie obsługa, czystość i widok z hotelowego okna. A wszystko to w niewygórowanej cenie. Jeśli dodamy do tego blisko centrum z tysiącem atrakcji, restauracji, sklepów, itd... to tworzy nam się obraz idealnego miejsca, w którym można spędzić kilka dni. Pokoje przestronne, z balkonem i niezbędną (nowa) infrastrukturą. Śniadania serwowane na miejscu z krótkiego menu. Bardzo pomocny personel. W obiekcie dostępny psa dwa baseny (małe... ale zawsze). Czystość na dobrym poziomie. WIeczorem widok na spokojny Mekong odpręża. Polecam!

I spent three nights here in January. The hotel is simple but the wooden staircase, floors, etc. are lovely and adds a bit of charm and character that is often lacking from other budget accommodations. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well-appointed. It had more amenities than I typically come across. Such as a refrigerator, electric kettle, and complimentary coffee and tea. The bedding, pillows, linen, and towels were in good condition. The hot water and wi-fi worked well. Unfortunately, the room was very small with no place for luggage. To solve this problem I choose a room with a balcony and used the balcony as a living room and luggage storage area. The bathroom was also problematic. Whoever designed it had no idea what they were doing. The vanity was far too big with the wrong type of faucet for that particular sink. The bathroom door only opened halfway. The toilet was crammed in behind the vanity. It would have been very awkward for large people to use. The walk-in room rate was quoted in USD but I wanted to pay by credit card. After the currency conversion, and 3% C.C. fee, the room cost me $39 USD per night. At this price, the hotel really only warrants three out of five dots on the TA scale.

I attended the property on the afternoon of July 10 to check-in. I had booked the bungalow for 5 nights. I was advised by the owner that the bungalow was not available because the roof needed fixing. I stated that I had booked 3 weeks prior & he had ample opportunity to message me & advise me of this. He later changed his story & told me that his son was living in the bungalow. He then allocated me a lesser quality room for the same price. I complained & stated that it was not the room that I had booked. He then showed me another room, which I reluctantly accepted because I was tired & needed desperately to rest. Two hours later after unpacking my bag a knock came at the door & his son was there asking me to move rooms again. I refused. I made it clear to the owner before I took the 2nd room that I would not move again. I had already lugged my bag up a flight of stairs. I was tired after traveling and had not been allocated the room I booked. The son continued to harass me by beating on the door. I spoke with him again and stated that according to previous reviews the establishment had deceived other people by not giving them the room that they booked. I also indicated that his father had lied to me about the bungalow, initially stating that the roof needed fixing & then later saying the bungalow was occupied. Some reviews have noted that lesser quality rooms were dispensed & were not the rooms that people had booked. I made it clear that it was dishonest and deceitful to not give people the room that they booked & to allocate them to a lesser quality room for the same price. The attitude seemed to be that...you will get what you are given regardless of what you may have booked. After being harassed & spoken to with total disrespect I packed my bag & left. It was hot & I had to carry my bag back down the stairs, find other accommodation & walk to transport. The entire episode left me extremely upset & out of pocket as I had to pay an additional taxi fare. I am 63 years old & I felt very threatened by the son's demanding & harassing behaviour. I have since been advised that the property noted me as a ”no show” & as a result I will be charged a $16USD fee. I refuse to pay this fee & booking.com needs to look very closely at the honesty of this property owner. By listing me as a no-show I have not been given the opportunity to write a review about this dishonest scam of a place, additionally, I note that as of today July 11, the establishment is no longer taking bookings via booking.com (I wonder why??)

Hôtel très bien entretenu. Grande chambre parfaite lit en 180. personnel avenant souriant sympathique et très disponible. Petit déjeuner non copieux mais fruits frais café et plats préparés à la demande

房間很乾凈，泳池也是。因為酒店比較小，所以不是很多人游泳，因此空間比較多。早餐雖然不是特別豐富但是每個都很好吃。 房間的玻璃不是很隔音，一早能聽見樓下小朋友玩水，門外有人走路，以及隔壁很早有雞打鳴。洗澡的水一會兒變冷一會兒變熱。 服務人員較友善，但是整體服務比較硬，完全跟着規矩走，不靈活。 位置其實蠻理想，不在鬧市區內但是又不算遠！性價比還是很高的～
