Hotel berhampiran Lugano Railway Station, Lugano

Hotel pangsapuri yang sangat bagus, anda boleh memasak dan memikirkannya. Bas terletak betul-betul di sebelah hotel apabila anda meninggalkan stesen kereta api, dan ia mengambil masa kurang daripada lima minit untuk berjalan kaki. This could have been a good hotel, albeit quite pricy, but somehow justifiable through its location. But unfortunately I had the WORST ever experience I ever had in any hotel, anywhere. On the good part: Good location in Paradiso, on the promenade, 15 min walk on the promenade to the center of Lugano. Nice lobby, good breakfast and friendly staff (at the breakfast, and partly at the reception). But the good stuff ended here. This stay was part of a multi-city trip with three stays and I simply forgot at check-in time that the booking was actually for lake side-view room. We arrived and completed check-in by 2:30. The lady at the front-desk told us the room is not ready and we need to wait till 3pm. I asked her kindly if she can check with the housekeeping if room is ready, being only 30 min left till 3pm, but she just told ”no, it's not”. Then I asked her to give us a lake or at least lake-side view, but she told that the hotel is fully booked and our room is with pool view. We didn't wanted to wait till the room is ready, so we just left the luggage and got to the city. We returned at the hotel late, by 9:30 - 10pm and when we got to the room (I think 315) we had the unpleasant surprise to see the ugly view from the balcony (construction site or quarry). In the bath the stopper was stuck and the sink quickly filled with dirty water. I called the reception to fix, the lady from check-in came but she told there's no-one in the hotel at this hour to fix, and she left. So I had to put my hands into the sink filled with dirty water and take off the stopper. Then we wanted to turn on the TV which didn't worked. I called the reception again, and someone came, took the remote to change its batteries, but the TV didn't started either. So he told the TV might be broken and they try to fix it the next day. I found finally that the TV was stopped actually from the hardware power button, because the remote power button actually didn't worked. All this added to my frustration, and I finally realized that I actually booked a room with lake-side view, which they didn't gave me. So I went to the reception, showed them the actual reservation confirmation and asked again for the room I paid for, which they told they cannot because everything is full. I asked to change my room the next day as booked, or I'll make an official complain to the Tourist Authority. Few minutes later I got a phone call from the reception, telling me there is a manager available, and if he can come to see the room and talk. I said of course. My mistake! At the door arrived the lady who checked me in, accompanied by a person, who stepped int the room and asked me what is the problem. I started to tell him we are booked for a side-lake view but we didn't it, but he interrupted me and started to raise his voice, telling why I keep complaining! What I don't like about the room? Isn't the furniture new and the walls newly painted? I told I never complained about what he says, I just want to get

Freundliches und gelassenes Personal. Preis-Leistung ist gut. Zimmer ausreichendem Badzimmer. Gemütliche Aussenterrasse. Gute Lage in Lugano, nicht weit vom Zentrum und in der Nähe Bushaltestelle vorhanden.

Die Unterkunft ist in allen Bereichen top. Das einzige was uns am Anfang ein wenig irritiert hat, ist die unbediente Reception. Das Online einchecken, hat aber super geklappt. Wir konnten schon um 1400 statt erst um 1500 Uhr ins Zimmer. Da wir getrennte Betten wollten, und es diese nur in der höheren Kategorie gab, wurden wir einfach ”upgegradet”, einfach top. Auch das Zusatzbett für unsere 5 jährige Tochter war mega bequem. Es war alles äusserst sauber und die tägliche Reinigung war super. Wir sind und waren einfach begeistert. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Vielen Dank für den schönen Empfang.

Check in was easy, really nice receptionist, room was super clean, I had like 5 towels. Sopa and body wash was provided, at lwast 5 sockets, really nice and comfy room.

Stayed here for more than 21 years this year, and have to say: one of the most enjoyable accommodation, service, food and location on planet earth! And I have seen many places, but coming back to the South of my own country - Lugano - the Parco Paradiso - is always a huge treat! The service is not only hugely accommodating, but nothing remains on my lips as I wish for something! From arrival to departure - all a special treat! Love being here, seeing people that work here, still here and having great pleasure being friends and sharing life! The food at the restaurant is exquisite, why go downtown if the choice is as versatile as is being cooked right here. The executive team at the Parco Paradiso is customer close. There is nothing played: real people with a real commitment - that is not common to many upmarket places I have visited for so many years! My deep respect to all here; there is nothing but absolutely nothing I could complain about!

Nice and modern hotel in good location with great views over the Lago di Lugano. The staff was professional, experienced and super friendly. Breakfast was always good with plenty of choice. We'll definitely stay again at Grand Hotel Campione!

What a surprise. Entrance, garage, check-in were so easy. But there was another big surprise: we were upgraded to a Suite. Room and bathroom were prefect and clean. The restaurant food was very good. There is a nice terrace overlooking the large swimming pool. The staff was very professional and extremely friendly. Breakfast was a very well appointed buffet. The location was perfect for us. Not too far from the freeway without the drawbacks and not too far from Lugano that can be reached in less than half hour. We highly recommend this hotel.

We spent one night here on our way back from Italy. Experienced a nice reception - even before we arrived in person. Also parking was reserved on request. The house is well restored, clean, quiet and lies next to the center of Giubiasco with supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries all around. It must be even more charming in the summer or winter season. We enjoyed the stay as well as the breaktfast-buffet.
