If I’m honest. We were surprised. Previous reviews & the cost meant that I set my expectations low. However, staff were lovely & attentive. Our room was well equipped & very clean. I’ve stayed in supposed ‘posh’ hotels now & then & had to battle for an iron board. Not an issue here. Iron & board. Hairdryer. Bottles of water & glasses & a lovely selection of tea & coffee with both a kettle & coffee machine. The bathroom was small & a little tired but clean & the towels were big & great quality. Breakfast came as a surprise too. Hot & cold options with pastries. Juice & hot drinks too. The food could have been warmer but the quality was good. Over all. We would recommend for a convenient, comfortable & friendly stay. We will rebook when in the area.

Cozy hotel and friendly staff. Had some electricity issues in a room and was upgraded to a room with a bathtub, nice touch.

This is a lovely hotel. They are self check in. However we could call them if we need anything. We needed a hair dryer and iron they talked us to where it was. Would have been nice to have breakfast. There are bad reviews but its a shame because we found everything was clean and the staff were on the phone or message whenever we needed them

Just a few mins walk from Luton Airport. Upon arrival, exit on the right side. Keep to the right as you walk till you come across under a bridge. You are one the right track. Walk further, you will see the hotel. Climb up the stairs along the side of the building and you will see the main entrance. Staffs are friendly and you feels comfortable talking to them.Rooms are clean and you can ask for shaver if you need one at the counter.

It’s always lovely to return to Luton Hoo for afternoon tea. But I’m not sure that I like the new format. Where you’re given sandwiches, a little bit mean in portion, and then if you ask for more they want to charge you. I managed to exchange more sandwiches for cakes, for which they were very obliging. Knowing how little it cost to make sandwiches, I’d rather pay an extra £5 and have the quantity desire without being charged. So not overly impressed with this new regime.

The hotel is very basic but you get what you pay for as it’s cheap. Fine if you just want to sleep and get to the airport as it’s near the station. Good bus/train links to the airport. Hari behind the reception desk was very nice and helpful though.

The hotel was very convenient for us. We came with two cars so moved on to the airport parking the next morning. The car park felt very safe with number recognition both in out. Staff that greeted use were great and explained that as we were checking out at 2.30 we would get a breakfast in a bag which was a nice surprise. Rooms good (although we we did not spend too much time in them). However now the negative bit, we ordered food from the bar. My daughter ordered a burger and asked if it came in a burger bun with out sesame seeds as she is allergic to them. When it arrived (eventually) Burger in a sesame seeded bun. We ordered three pizzas one with a topping removed which was not done and the other two were burnt. As for the lasagne don’t even ask! For the price next time we stay here the local McDonalds is the better option. DO NOT EAt HERE.

Great experience overall. Delicious breakfast, great stuff. Thanks all again! The bathroom is a bit tired . I stayed in handycup room, the handrails seemed to be rusty and teared apart.

Basic Hotel for Pocket Change, it ain't the London Hilton but a room for the price of a drink there. NIGHT ONE: Liked · The Receptionist ( Jess ) was extremely presentable & very professional in how she presents herself, her customer care skills were the best of the staff I encountered, I gather she is the assistant manager/manageress ? from what I saw she should be the manager/manageress as she stands out as having the required skills & attributes to make people feel like their stay matters to the hotel. I can't fault any of the reception staff as they all try their best & they do seem to be working in less than perfect conditions due to the hotel not being of an acceptable standard but is suffice as a Bargain Basement Hotel, some remarks made by others are quite harsh as you really do get what you pay for ;-) if you want opulence, pay opulent prices for opulence in a 5 star hotel, if you want cheap & cheerful for pocket change, it is wrong to complain when you get 'cheap & cheerful accomodation ' Disliked · Bed was extremely uncomfortable, no shower in room but there was a bath. Room 302 was a very NOISY room. In defence of the hotel staff they are quite open in telling guests that the bed bases are awaiting replacement & that with the new mattresses I would imagine the sleep quality will improve, if you want opulence, pay opulent prices for opulence in a 5 star hotel, if you want cheap & cheerful for pocket change, it is wrong to complain when you get 'cheap & cheerful accomodation ' but the standard of bedding does need drastic improvement......other than that I found the place suffice for what the room rates are & the hotel has just reopened after a long closure due to COVID-19 I found the hotel to be significantly cleaner than the photos posted on tripadvisor show, so self assessment of the hotel is best made during any stay you make. NIGHT TWO: Great Receptionist Staff but currently a SubStandard Hotel with no frills etc. Liked · Receptionist ( Linden ) was trying his best to make guests feel welcome,however it is quite a hard job for the receptionists because the hotel is quite shoddy in appearance in most areas. I actually stayed 3 nights on a recce stay to report on the hotel facilities & general presentation. Disliked · The Hotel Management have a policy on taking a £50.00 security deposit ( if you don't pay, you don't stay !!! ) Now, whilst I didn't personally worry about that as it is a REFUNDABLE PAYMENT if nothing is maliciously damaged or breakages occur I do feel it is worth mentioning it because some clients booking a room here might be on a tighter than normal budget & not have a spare £50.00 to leave at reception during their stay ( The payment has to be paid in CASH as well ) During my 3 night stay I was given rooms on the 2nd Floor ( which is actually the 3rd level by US standards ) & there isn't a lift in the hotel. Late to the hotel due to the flight delay and delay from Gdansk, anyway, hotel room is great and available for late check out with £10/hr, reasonable, and have a good sleep.Anyway, you may call a taxi to go to the hotel, a but inconvenient that you know Luton airport is really inconvenient.
