Hotel Mewah di Shanghai

A special shout out to our butler, Ms. Penny. Thanks for your warm welcome and kind arrangement. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel location is strategic, and the view of the bund was breathtaking. We enjoyed our breakfast very much, sumptuous selection. Thank you Bellagio by MGM and the crew for making our stay wonderful.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Shanghai MGM West Bund Hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a seamless check-in process. Especially Lucy from the Guest Experience team made my day remarkable. She made me feel like a valued guest and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. What truly impressed me was their genuine care and attention to detail. They anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, ensuring that I had everything I required for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It's clear that they take great pride in their work and are committed to providing exceptional service to every guest. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the guest relations team at the Shanghai MGM West Bund Hotel for their outstanding hospitality. They played a significant role in making my stay truly memorable and I highly recommend their services to anyone visiting the hotel. The hotel itself is a true gem, boasting modern and stylish decor throughout. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. The comfortable bed, luxurious amenities, and attention to detail made me feel right at home. My stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. Also the housekeeping team, everyone was friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a memorable stay. The hotel's location is also worth mentioning. Situated in the vibrant West Bund area, it offered convenient access to popular attractions, shopping, and dining options. Whether I wanted to explore the city or simply relax and take in the views, everything was within reach. Overall, my experience at the Shanghai MGM West Bund Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. It's a true testament to luxury and hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Shanghai.

The room was amazing with a stunning view. On the whole it was a fantastic stay but there were one or two issues- 1. The yoga mats in the gym were filthy. And 2. I was bothered on a few occasions by cleaners or people coming to knock on the door e.g.the cleaner came inside the room even though I said it was too late and I didn't want the room to be cleaned now. It was around 5pm and no one had cleaned the room during the day, but by that time I was ready to relax. There was a language barrier so she just came in and started replacing snacks and drinks and tried to start cleaning up in the bathroom and I had to ask her to leave. I noticed before I left that there was a button for 'do not disturb' but it wasn't obvious so it would be good for the staff to mention that when showing you to your room. I also think it's a good idea for them to have a book with information regarding the restaurant, gym, spa etc.etc. there's some info on the TV but it isn't very detailed.

This is not my first time staying at this hotel, but the exceptional hospitality of Butler Bambi elevated this experience to a whole new level. I was truly impressed by the warm and attentive service, and I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again when I return to Sheshan. 이번이 이 호텔에 머무는 첫 경험은 아니지만, 버틀러 밤비(Bambi)의 탁월한 환대로 이번 체류는 한층 더 특별해졌습니다. 따뜻하고 세심한 서비스에 깊은 감명을 받았으며, 다음에 셰산(佘山)을 방문할 때도 반드시 이 호텔을 선택할 것입니다. 这已经不是我第一次入住深坑酒店，但管家Bambi的卓越热情与贴心服务，让这次的体验提升到了全新的高度。我对她的热情款待印象深刻，下次来到佘山时，我依然会毫不犹豫地选择世茂。

This Kimpton hotel is really-really cool: opened in September’23, it has fresh amenities, sleek contemporary design, beautiful scenery from the upper decks and remarkable dine & drink options. The staff is friendly and helpful, with fair level of English, which is not that common even in Shanghai. Rooms have spacious bathrooms, high-tech control system and comfy bed with orthopedic (!) pillows. The surrounding areas are fresh from the reconstruction, conveying nice Singapore-style staycation feel - great choice even for those living in Shanghai. The only major area of concern was the pool. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a really beautiful rooftop pool at a scenic spot of Huangpu river, but it’s regulated by the most ridiculous rules you can possibly think of. First, there is no service by the pool, so forget about the joy of having a coffee, a cold beer or a juice at your sunbed. There’s a forced shower at the entrance which cannot be turned off - protecting your phone an belongings would require agility. And the most stupid of all - you must wear a swimming cap even if you don’t dive. There is no information of it ahead of check-in, so you can either rent a cap at the place, or enjoy the pool in observer’s mode if they’d ran out of those (happened to us). Having stayed at over 30 hotels across all China, it was the first time I met regulations like that. It’s not a sports pool, where caps and absence of service could be assumed. It’s a really nice rooftop leisure pool, beautifully furnished and with pleasant soundtrack. Well, could have been. Dear Administration, please benchmark the other hotels in town. A properly serviced rooftop pool is not just a source of joy for your guests, it’s also a revenue stream for the business.

Hotel Haiou yang asal telah dirobohkan dan dibina semula, sambil mengekalkan beberapa elemen berharga asal. Harga bilik biasa hampir 4,000 yuan, sekurang-kurangnya separuh daripadanya dibayar untuk kedudukan C di North Bund. . Perincian reka bentuk karya seni dan bahan semuanya mencerminkan tahap tertinggi reka bentuk CCD, dan ***a wang lama serta tema bunga adalah selaras dengan populariti semasa. Bar lobi (tanpa pemandangan), restoran Cina dan restoran sepanjang hari (dengan pemandangan panoramik Bund dan kedua-dua belah Sungai Huangpu). Tawaran restoran makan sepanjang hari adalah separuh tulen, dan konfigurasi sarapan istimewa berbaloi dengan harga. I tried to check in at 2pm, was informed that the room was not ready for at least 1 more hour. Asked the receptionist for a restaurant, and instead of pointing out the ones from the hotel, she sent me to Yu Gardens... Come back after an hour and was informed that I need to wait for another 30 min at least. I was given a voucher for a soft drink, and I headed to the lounge to get this drink, I showed the voucher to lady and she said for me to have a cold tea that I agreed. At 3:35 stand up to get my key and the waitress ask me to pay for the tea, I pointed out that I got a voucher and she said that voucher was not good for cold tea and I need to pay aroung 230RMB for a tea I didn't want at the beginning, I was there just for the absurd waiting time for the room to be ready! I asked the manager, and they said no need and they would take care... Arrived in room 1771, a well-appointed room, tried to make a coffee, and the machine was not working... I called the concierge and informed about the machine, after 5 min a lady call me to offer me a bottle.of wine, that I declined as I don't drink offer fruit and at the end an upgrade to the room, I went to the toilet and left the room at 16:00 as I had a meeting. I arrived at the meeting with sweaty clothes and without taking a shower as I got the room over 90 minutes later... I received the key of the new room before I left, when I come back I tried to use the key but was not active, i headed back to reception to check what happened and they activated but didn't apologise for the mistake. The new room had a view of the Bund, so there was no upgrade of the room itseld was just an upgrade of the view... The hotel is nice, has good amenities, and breakfast is solid, fresh, but not as much choice as compared to Shangri-la Pudong. The pool changing room and showers need better cleaning and mantenience. The people at the reception and at the lounge need better training and level up their English to a better standard, hotel is 5 star, experience is far from it.

중국에서 보내는 허니문 여행 일정 중, 카펠라는 우리의 피날레 였습니다. 우리는 카펠라 덕분에 이 도시와 사랑에 빠졌습니다! Terry 는 3일 내내 완벽하게 일정을 어레인지 해주었습니다. 허니문을 보내는 우리를 위해 흔쾌히 룸도 업그레이드 해주었구요, 또한 로컬에 훌륭한 레스토랑을 수월하게 예약해준 덕분에 훌륭한 미식을 즐길 수 있었습니다! 체크 아웃 날, 우리를 위해 카펠라의 귀여운 선물들을 주었던 zhang yi lei 매니저님에게도 꼭 감사하단 말씀을 드리고 싶네요. 이번 여행에서 받은 수베니어 중에 가장 감동이었습니다. 또한 SPA를 경험해보지 못해 아쉬워 했던 우리에게 샘플을 챙겨주었던 부티크샵 여직원 분도 고맙습니다. 참으로 다정하고 따뜻했습니다. 마지막으로 연일 우리를 위해 차를 부를 때 편하게 안내해주었던 벨보이 분에게도 고맙습니다! (성함을 묻지 못해서 아쉽네요) 덕분에 호텔에서 밖으로 이동할 때 항상 아늑한 느낌이었습니다. 이곳은 나중에 꼭 한번 장기 거주를 해보고 싶습니다. 진짜 상하이와 프랑스 조계지를 느껴 보고 싶다면 이 곳 말고 더 완벽한 곳이 있을까요? p.s 그리고 웰컴 과일 중에 아주 스페셜한 과일이 있었어요. 노란색 껍질에 과육은 자두,복숭아,참외 같은 맛이 섞여있었는데요. 무슨 과일이었는지 궁금하네요!

The stay was impressive. Not only was the room spacious, the site was also peaceful will very few other guests at the time we went. The environment was so nice that we forgot we were in Shanghai. Experiences of having hotpot next to the river, cycling around the large park, visiting the antique villa and learning about the history, were exceptional. We were amazed by Johnny Qin and his team's warm hospitality and heart-touching service, especially the hand-drawn welcome card which bear the logo of our company. Attentions were paid to every detail during our stay. Penny was our yoga tutor and she was so friendly in teaching us and also taking pictures for us. Highly recommended. As for the afternoon tea on the boat, we had a great chat with Kevin Li 李城城, rounding up a sweet and memorable experience for us at Amanyangyun. Will definitely come back again.
