the hotel is situated right in front of the Gulangyu. One could enjoy the nice view during the day and the night. The metro station is nearby and the sightseeing spots is within walking distance, plus lots of restaurants next to the shopping arcade so one could enjoy the local taste while doing shopping. special thanks to Johnny 施為民 at concierge who made my stay easy with his tips on touring the Gulangyu, shopping arcade and promenade where I enjoyed the local food. Johnny's colleagues was also very kind and helpful.

My elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location. When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness. From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish. The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street. A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel. There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel. We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50. I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.

it was my second visit to this hotel. (first visit was 2017) the hotel is very close to Xiamen Gaoqi airport and have small private beach. Hotel staffs are friendly. Breakfast of restaurant in 2nd floor is nice, but 1st floor is not recommended but for my room, room full of smells of cigarette..... the shower water is too hot, not able to set warm. Toilet water flush is too weak.

Super stay as per usual. One of our favourite place in Xiamen because of the views outside the window! Sadly although the chef wrote to say he would make a vegetarian meal the staff in the restaurant were not aware so we missed out (that may have been because of translations and our poor Chinese though)! Lovely cocktails and super comfortable bed. We will be back and next time will make sure we can get that delicious sounding vegetarian menu! Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.

When I was checking in at front desk, Rachel Fang welcomed me warmly and offered to connect me with WeChat, She told me that her Chinese name was easy to remember and much like QQ, She has a great memory, and every day I walk by the lobby she always comes over and greets me，During my stay, she was always nice and ready to help whenever I needed,She introduced me a lot with enthusiasm and patience,This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Xiamen，I’ve been to many hotels in different，countries,Stayed in a lot of hotels，Rachel has a really sweet smile，Her big eyes make people feel gentle and cute， makes me feel like home, next time I would choose Intercontinental again because of Rachel

The hotel is located in a very good neighborhood and it’s easy to get around the city. The hotel stuff are very nice and welcoming. They gave us a free upgrade. I would definitely recommend it if you’re planning to stay in Xiamen.

We stayed here for a famliy vacation. It was everything we expected and so much more .As soon as you pull into the driveway you feel at home . Concierge take control of luggage and allow you to wander to reception . Checking in was a breeze and friendly . The room , ours was on the 11st floor , was amazing . comfort , soft beds , mini bar , bath robe , and a well sized bathroom . A travellers true home from home to get away from the bussel of life by the coast side . Views , sun rises , peace and quiet . Perfect . Also the outdoor swimming pool ,sauna.And this hotel is one of the highest in my lists of hotels in Xiamen to recommend . A shout out to the Manager , Anna who personally checked up on us , and to Tim for reaching out by text to ensure the room met its very high standard .

My medicine was left in the taxi when I arrival, but they were very helpful in helping me get it back, which is very important to me. Thanks for the FD staff Vita and ray. The next day, the front desk manager Nancy was also very polite and paid attention to my stay during breakfast and helped me solve problems in a timely manner. The hotel such nice and the view is so beautiful .I had a cozy Tuesday at hotel. I will come back in the near future .

I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings, especially during the holiday season and especially after a long day at the beach or in the old town. Breakfast was of a very high standard. I can only recommend the rooms with a sea view to everyone.

Love this hotel, the view from the room is just amazing! The swimming pool is very big and so beautiful ! The Italian restaurant downstairs is good Will go again for sure!
