Hotel Ocean View di Fujian, China

The hotel is very good and located within the Twin Towers area. The sea view is excellent, and it has all the amenities. My room had a private bathroom, a comfortable bed, and cozy cushions near the window to enjoy the sea view. There is also a projector available for watching movies. The initial service was good, although later there were slight delays in responding. Check-in requires a face scan, while check-out is simple — you just need to send a message to your butler. It is better to book earlier to get a good deal.

I recently stayed at Lujiang Harbourview Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The hotel has a quaint charm — the room was decorated with a lovely olden-day, vintage feel, yet it was very comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast was a highlight, with both buffet options and à la carte dishes. We especially enjoyed sampling some of Xiamen’s local specialties. Another pleasant surprise was the daily complimentary hi-tea served at the 1958 Lobby Bar — a wonderful touch that made our afternoons extra enjoyable. The location is simply unbeatable. The start of Zhongshan Pedestrian Street is right next to the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and exploring. I spent two full days wandering around the area. 八市街 is also just around the corner, offering plenty of delicious local food options. A special shout-out to staff member 张春燕, who went above and beyond in helping us. When we were unable to book ferry tickets through WeChat as foreigners, she kindly used her personal phone to help us secure them. Truly exceptional service — 5 stars for her! Overall, Lujiang Harbourview Hotel gave us a warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Xiamen.

It was a little bit problematic to check in, we couldn’t find the entrance quickly, and it took some time to register the Face ID which is required for the building. Also there was a slight smell of cigarettes in the room, but everything else was just amazing: the view is 100 out of 10, both main room and bathroom are spacious, you have everything you need. P.S. It would be really appreciated to have real towels instead of disposable ones

I’m very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—exactly what you need for a relaxing trip. Breakfast exceeded expectations with lots of choices and a different food selection each morning, so it never got boring. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around. What really stood out were the little surprises: complimentary snacks and an eye mask delivered to our room—such a nice touch. Even after checkout, the service remained top-notch. When we noticed all the sofas in the lobby were occupied, the front desk kindly brought us to the VIP lounge to rest. That kind of attentiveness is rare and much appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who values comfort, variety, and genuine hospitality.

Great place to stay when you're in Xiamen! We specifically wanted to stay by the beach and so we choose this hotel. It was literally a 5-minute walk to a beach that is more private and less crowded than the other beaches in Xiamen. Breakfast is very good with lots of options. Location is quite good too, it was very easy to get a Didi as they come directly to the hotel. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a Didi to come. Eventhough it's by the beach, other areas such as Shapowei are just around 15-20 min taxi ride. Big malls such as MixC and SM around 25-30 mins away, not too bad. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and would stay here again in the future.

Hotel ini berjarak 5 minit berjalan kaki dari feri pulang dari Pulau Gulangyu. Hotel ini terletak dengan baik ke semua tarikan, dengan perhentian bas hanya di tingkat bawah, dan teksi adalah berpatutan. Di belakang hotel adalah Jalan Zhongshan, menjadikannya mudah dan meriah untuk bersiar-siar, membeli-belah dan menjamu selera. Ia adalah penginapan yang sangat memuaskan dan menyeronokkan. Setiap kakitangan sangat mengalu-alukan, membantu dengan bagasi dan mengesyorkan tarikan. Bilik itu terang dan bersih, serta lengkap dengan keperluan harian—pengalaman yang benar-benar bernas dan bernas. Was confused as to how to get to the hotel as it is not a whole building for the hotel, instead mixed inside the apartment building. Was arrived by DiDi at night and it was freezing cold, with luggages at hand, and called the property however the person didn’t speak english. After using the message function then the translation can helped us communicate better, and the person in charge came outside of the building to pick me up and helped me with my luggages. Room was spacious with the view of sea in some distance can be seen. Only stayed 1 night during transit so I cannot review any further. There was free airport drop off provided, which helped. Overall I would be staying here again the next time I’m having a transit at Fuzhou.

I was looking forward to this hotel after seeing the pictures and reviews on trip.com, but it left a lot to be desired. -They don’t provide large towels by default. I assumed they forgot my towels, then when I asked they brought me a set but showed me the disposable ones that were sitting in the room. I couldn’t believe they offer the tiniest, thinnest packets and think that’s an acceptable replacement for normal towels. At this price point, that shouldn’t be a reality anywhere in the world— after countless dozens of hotels I’ve stayed at in China that’s the first time I’ve witnessed such a thing. -They leave the toilet scrubber in the bathroom too, which I also never saw after countless hotels in China; clearly that’s an antiquated practice and doesn’t inspire confidence in the cleanliness of a room. Cleaning tools like that shouldn’t be stored in the guest rooms. -The city view was okay but the window was filthy -The room is no-smoking but they leave an ash tray My booked room says the 20th floor— when I arrived, I lugged my heavy bags to the 20th floor, but they immediately redirected me; we went back down, exited the building to another one nearby, then they checked me into an old room on a 10th floor. I didn’t understand why they did this (that room reeked of smoke too), then we packed everything up and went right back to the original building, to the 20th floor like I booked. Clearly that could have been avoided if they communicated to me the reason for the switch (they said afterwards they were upgrading me to a bigger room? But it was nearly the same size and the 10th floor one was just older, smellier and clearly a downgrade. Odd decision on their part). I’m not sure if this hotel does the delivery robot like most others, I doubt it. Luckily I came to town a day early, so the extra day I booked allowed me to see the condition of the hotel and I was able to cancel the rest of the stay I had booked— but for a fee of over 500rmb. The vast majority of Chinese hotels on this site offer free cancellations but this one was costly. I switched immediately to a brand hotel to be safe— there are countless other options in Xiamen at similar prices, I’d have to recommend looking elsewhere.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, overall experience was positive room and staff is what you would expect for a hotel like this. Location wise is the only downside, it’s quite inconvenient if you are used to taking public transit in China, you’ll definitely need to take a Taxi or DiDi. The hotel breakfast I found was pretty underwhelming compared to other hotels I’ve been to in China. Yes there’s a lot of options but the taste was underwhelming. They have à la carte options which I found to be more enjoyable compared to the buffet style breakfast. The pool and gym was nice, there’s a lifeguard on duty, not much to add, you do need a bathing cap like all other pools in China, the gym is pretty limited but decent for a hotel. If you’re in Xiamen, you could consider booking this hotel for the views and nice hotel amenities. But if you prioritize location, I would consider other options on Xiamen island.
