I was first thinking that ok..this will be a regular hotel room..and Marriotts are nice.. I was wrong.. IT is not just a Marriott. It is a beautiful more like a boutique type hotel. The staff were great. The location is a short distance from the train station and everything is close and walkable. The hotel gave a transportation pass for the entire city. We used the bus to come back into town and it was easy (first time I took a bus in 40 years) All the main attractions for downtown are right there. The shower...best shower I have ever had in my life. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly with out outside noise ever even being heard. The dinner in the hotel will not get a thumbs up, skip that one, but the breakfast was outstanding and one of the best we had in Switzerland. It was a buffet and made to order eggs and pancakes. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights the staff was very friendly and the location is in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes from the train station. Short walk over to old town Room was very large and well appointed. The only bad thing was the lighting as not very good and the windows did not have blinds or drapes which made light at night a little bit of an issue Overall great location and staff with a large room with some quirks

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel in a junior suite. Pros: very clean hotel, wonderful service, convenient location Cons: hotel is located on a very busy and loud street, impossible to open a window even if you are on the top floor. The bed is very very hard and the pillows are so soft (you simply sink in it) so it was almost impossible to have a good rest at night. I did complain several times and requested another pillow, however I was told that the hotel doesn't have any other pillows. The bathroom has a separate shower, but the cabin is very very small, I would say 2 x2 feet. I am a very petite woman size 0, and was very uncomfortable not only to sleep in this hotel, but also to take a shower. Overall, even though the service in the hotel was wonderful, I would not stay there again, for the money that I have paid it was too much of a discomfort.

Large stately hotel. the hotel also has residences which means less hotel guests and traffic (in a good way). i generally look for hotels with pools and saunas attached and the pool area has was beautiful was outdoor patio with view of alps and lakes. Lockers, robes and slippers provided. i had room #205 which had peekaboo view of lake and mainly a rooftop, I suspect City View rooms would be noisy with busy road in front. book lake view if possible. the front staff was lovely and very helpful. They were very accommodating in trying to sort out my room. I could have been made to move after the 1st night but to their credit - saw it was easier to keep me in the same room. restaurant and bar with outdoor seating looking out towards lake and promenade. Heavenly!

很古老的酒店，電梯很小出了電梯去房間還要抬行李過兩次樓梯，所以如果有大行李，一定告訴前台給你個出電梯不用過樓梯的房間。 房間沒有空調，送來了一個吹風機，聲音巨大，前麪出冷風，後面排風口出熱風，所以，你懂的房間的溫度基本沒什麼變化，還好盧塞恩晚上不是很熱，並且房間的空間足夠大，不會悶。 服務人員正常發揮，不會特別熱情，也不會不友好，還可以。 歐洲酒店沒有牙刷拖鞋，需要打電話要。酒店的地理位置很好，出去就能看到花橋。 總體來講還是不錯的。

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, we booked the room for 4 peoples and we came with 5 peoples instead because we booked it through an app, i intend to pay the additional bf and charges at the spot. All the staff are friendly and a lot of smile except one, which i guess is the boss. In the morning when we are going to have bf i talk to the receptionist or the boss about paying for an extra charge for another person. He look at me with anger and said he is pissed of me because of having 5 peoples instead of 4 allowed . Im willing to pay for an extra charge and asked for his help to find me another room but his reply really surprised me, he said he is fully booked and insisted one of my family member to move out today, he said it is not his problem. Well this is something new for me, a hotel with a boss acting as receptionist, and a hospitality industry that evicting a customer who is willing to pay. In the end he deactivated my key card and make my mother and my wife abandoned in the lobby waiting for me to talk to the boss to reactivate the key card. When i go talk to him ,he already waiting with another key for another room . He said i have a single room available for you to rent and it will cost you Chf 120 for one night. Why dont he said that in the morning when I talk to him ? Is he did it to show me that he is in power ? Well the question is, is it legal for him to lock my room ,which i had pay in full, just to make me come to him, instead of him talk to me and ask me to pay extra ? So many drama in altstadt krone hotel. Now the reviews Lobby is minimalist Room is standard Bathroom empty shampoo dispenser Breakfast standard selection but the taste is delicious Location is the best Hotel staff is friendly And Drama is plenty

Etablissement extrêmement bien placé dans le vieux quartier de Lucerne. A deux pas du vieux pont et de la rue marchande. Quelques minutes de la gare. Le checkin se fait dans un hotel voisin. En fait, ici il n'y a personne. Vous pouvez vous parqué en périphérie de la ville et venir à pied (7-8 minutes tranquille) Par contre, les chambres font vraiment viellot. En entrant dans la cage d'escalier et en voyant l'ascenceur on se croirait en Allemagne de l'Est. Mobillié vieillot, kitch. Par contre, notre chambre était propre, rien à redire. Trop cher pour ce que c'est, on paie l'emplacement. J'avoue qu'on a été vraiment deçu en passant la porte. Comme quoi, les photos...

Centrally located and easy to walk around town from the hotel. A short walking distance from the train station. Checking in was easy and staff was very helpful and friendly. The room, at 18sqm, is rather small but good enough for a short stay. There was no A/C and if facing the street keeping the windows open invites a lot of night noise from both cars, and people talking loudly on the street. Also, if the room is facing the street and curtains are open there is constant flickering from a 24/7 video being shown across the street from one of the businesses. The bathroom had a very odd and somewhat uncomfortable shower, it was very difficult to get in and out of the shower for elderly folks. A bus pass for unlimited travel in the immediate area is available at no cost. The breakfast at 15 CHF per person was fairly good.

Für uns das beste Hotel in Luzern, da stimmt alles. Allem voran möchte ich Carla ganz herzlich danken, für die Geduld und die Mithilfe, dass unser Event so gut gelungen ist. Auch Linda hat uns mit ihrer Gastfreundschaft geflasht. Also das Team ist einfach einzigartig. Zimmer, Frühstück, Service müsste man mit 10 Sternen bewerten.
