The hotel is very tired and dated and definitely not 5*. Complained about the poor state of our superior room and in the end were upgraded to Junior Suite as hotel was not full. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff were very good and particular credit goes to Sebastien, head concierge who was excellent and in possession of the ‘golden keys’. Not surprising. Recommended good Bouchons etc. Time to refurbish this hotel for guests and staff.

I booked this hotel back in January for a trip to Lyon on weekend 09-10 July 2022. After travelling from UK and on my way to the hotel from the Airport, we was 5 minutes away when I received a call from Booking.com advising me that the hotel could no longer provide us a room as they no longer had any availability. The hotel did not even contact us directly, but had told booking.com at that moment only, whom called me as soon as the hotel reached out to them. We was stranded with our luggage and no hotel and had to wait for Booking.com to find us an alternative which was over 1km further away. Having booked well in advance, if we had have been informed the day before we travelled they could no longer accomodate us would have been bad enough, but to be told after travelling over from UK and only 5 mins away from reaching the hotel is totally unacceptable. Still the hotel has not even reached out to me directly to apologise for the distressing situation and time wasted on our short trip this caused us. What was meant to be a nice weekend away, ended up being a disastrous one. How can a hotel not know the number of guests they have booked in to stay. Clearly I have marked this hotel with the lowest stars and certainly lowest for Service if thats what you call it. I would love to comment on the cleanliness etc, but unfortunately we didn't even get that far. Customer Service? What customer service? Totally shocking and appalling, be aware that if you choose to stay here, you might arrive and find you are stranded with nowhere to go.

Petit hôtel très sympathique, sans prétention, mais très honnete, bien pensé, bien décoré et aux espaces efficacement optimisés et d’excellent rapport qualité/prix avec un petit dej avec des viennoiseries de qualité, ainsi que du bon pain frais, même si une offre un peu plus étendu en salé serait appréciable. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et arrangeant . Les « tintins et Astérix » gracieusement prêtés par l’établissement achèveront de vous endormir en douceur.

Good hotel for a short stay - all we needed really. Clean, comfortable, small room with a really big bed. Good shower. Great location. Good price. There is a small fridge where you can store drinks etc but it is not very powerful. The mornings are disturbed due to banging doors inside the corridor but it is not horrendous, especially if you plan to get up early anyway. We did not eat breakfast there because there is so much choice nearby. Overall we would be happy to return there for a few days.

Best welcome in a very long time. Very helpful staff, great location for walking into the Centre of the city. Easy access to main line station and the tram way for connecting with business locations. Plenty of great restaurants close by, be sure to book some of them in advance. Great views close by. Room on the small side, well sound proofed, warm and comfortable. Clean bathroom with a good shower.

I was happy with almost everything in this hotel. I don't have an opinion on the breakfast because we didn't have it. + : location, its just near the Perrache train station, very clean and comfortable rooms. There was also some free syrup downstairs, and they gave us free Christmas beers at the end of our stay. Very nice staff working (all we talked to) -: too hot in the bedroom and impossible to control the temperature from the panel and there was so much sound because of the wind coming from the rooftop so ask to not be on the last floor.
