Great location, in the heart of Lyon city center.
Very clean room.
Plenty of good restaurants just down the street and all around - and luckily its not not noisy at all in the room.
The night shift receptionnist is friendly and nice.
For a 4-star hotel, it would great if bottled water could be provided in the room although water refiller is available at the reception.
But well, the fact is that 4-star hotels standard in Europe is definitely lower than Asia’s 4-star hotels.

Petit hôtel très sympathique, sans prétention, mais très honnete, bien pensé, bien décoré et aux espaces efficacement optimisés et d’excellent rapport qualité/prix avec un petit dej avec des viennoiseries de qualité, ainsi que du bon pain frais, même si une offre un peu plus étendu en salé serait appréciable. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et arrangeant . Les « tintins et Astérix » gracieusement prêtés par l’établissement achèveront de vous endormir en douceur.

I was happy with almost everything in this hotel. I don't have an opinion on the breakfast because we didn't have it.
+ : location, its just near the Perrache train station, very clean and comfortable rooms. There was also some free syrup downstairs, and they gave us free Christmas beers at the end of our stay. Very nice staff working (all we talked to)
-: too hot in the bedroom and impossible to control the temperature from the panel and there was so much sound because of the wind coming from the rooftop so ask to not be on the last floor.

Séjour un week-end à Lyon. L hôtel est récent, chambre vaste,agréable propre avec petit balcon. Rue calme.L 'emplacement est un peu éloigné de la ville, mais station de métro à 10 minutes à pieds. Possibilité de stationnement dans la rue devant l hôtel. Restaurants proches. Petit déjeuner basique mais correct.
La réception est fermée de 12h à 15h, nous nous sommes trouvés devant un hôtel fermé en arrivant à 14 sur place...

Very well priced, modern and very comfortable hotel. Good location off autoroute for one or two nights stay and close to Lyon centre. Good breakfast. Rooms have separate bathroom and loo, modern rain shower with great design and finish. Highly recommended.

This hotel claims to be 5 star, it is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. It claims to have a Michelin star restaurant, but it was closed on the Tuesday night that we stayed. No alternative food was offered, just room service of cold salmon. The front desk were unhelpful, they could not recommend anywhere in the local village, luckily we found a superb Italian ourselves.the Wi-Fi is slow and continually drops out, the air conditioning didn’t work, the room was dirty (see photos). The car park is more than 400 metres away, all this for €250 a night, abysmal, no wonder the hotel was empty, we had traveled up from a 5 Star Hotel in St Tropez and we were horrified with this hotel, it’s total lack of customer service and it’s unfriendly feel. Only half the electric sockets work in the room, next door is a loud train, they give you earplugs !! And then building work wakes you up at 7.30am. It gets even worse, in the morning no breakfast on display, we are told we can only have items from room service menu as no one else stopping. At this point we got up and left, hungry and very distressed, I blame the hotel management, you should have closed the hotel and also ***********, you should have been made aware. This has to be the worst hotel experience in my 59 year life, guessing being British didn’t help.

Séjour agréable. Bon accueil, hôtel propre. Rien à redire sur le service. Nous avons pris l’option petit déjeuner : assez variés, la salle à manger est très jolie. Chambre propre. Lieu calme ou règne une bonne atmosphère. Nous n’avons pas testé le restaurant ni la piscine car le telos était assez frais. Je recommande cet hôtel.

PPengguna TetamuThis was the second time I had stayed at the Grand Hotel des Terreaux. The hotel is in a central location in Lyon, and I like the style. The service was excellent, they speak English, and I loved the breakfast buffet. The room I stayed in was very nice but on the smaller side, typical for hotel rooms in France. The bed was very comfortable for me, and the room had air conditioning which is great as it can get quite warm in France. Wireless access was included, and fast and reliable. Overall an excellent hotel I can highly recommend.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Before I get into specifics, the staff was great, very friendly and nice. I don't blame them for the state of the rooms. The first room we had was right on the street, first floor. It seemed ok at first, but it was so noisy and we were staying for 6 nights, I asked to change and they ended up finding a room later that day we could move to. The first room was ok, it seemed run down. The bedding and bed seemed new and the a/c worked, so I thought is was workable. After the noise and I moved to the next room, I had another awful room. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling where there was a water leak. The full length mirror was cracked and I was worried I would hit it by accident and cause it to fall. There were just minor issues like wallpaper peeling and paint touch ups needed. I know this company recently bought this hotel, but they should not be open until the rooms were renovated. The rooms needed a total gutting and redoing. This is not at all the quality I was expecting when I booked. Also, we were told we needed the key to swipe to access the building, but that wasn't true. Anyone could enter at any time. I never felt safe there. The second room we had was way in the back, so I felt safer there, but I was very happy to leave when it was time to check out. So if you are staying here soon, I would advise to check and see if the rooms have been renovated before you book.

HHamidDekat dengan kereta bawah tanah dan trem, restoran yang bagus, beberapa meter jauhnya, dengan berbagai makanan, setiap waktu makan tengah hari ada sebuah kereta makan, tempat tidur yang selesa dan tenang, di sisi lain, selain dari pejabat, terdapat beberapa peralatan makan sederhana Terdapat dapur kecil, tanpa meja makan; untuk sarapan pagi, kotak yang disediakan tidak sesuai dengan standard: 3 pastri mini, sebotol jus, sebilangan roti dan sebungkus kopi! Nilai wang tidak ada.
Tetapi yang paling mengejutkan saya ialah mereka menolak pelanggan menggunakan tandas sebelum mendaftar masuk. Adakah anda jelas selalu harus kembali ke bilik kerana Covid? Bagi pelanggan, ini nampaknya tidak begitu sesuai untuk saya.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed at a double room in the Sofitel in Lyon for a total of 3 nights in the summer of 2023.
The hotel is located just a few streets from the Place Bellecour which is one of the main squares in Lyon. It is also about 5 minutes away from many cafes, bistros and a large supermarket (Monop’) near Place Bellecour.
The room itself was a fairly standard double room (approximately 20 square metres). The interior and furnishings of the hotel look a bit dated but they were fine and did not matter in any material way. The minibar is complimentary and it is restocked daily with bottled water (still and sparkling), fruit juice, coca cola, and dried fruits and nuts.
The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were firm. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very consistent and it would turn off in the middle of the night. It is not an issue if you are staying here in the winter but it made it difficult to sleep at night in the summer.
The staff were all very nice and pleasant. The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day.
We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price.

PPengguna TetamuBonjour, Groupe d'amies ayant réservé 2 chambres pour 4 personnes pour un super rapport qualité/prix, je vous conseille de réserver directement, les prix sont plus avantageux. Réceptionnistes très symphatiques. Les parties communes sont un peu vieillottes, en revanche, les chambres rénovées sont très bien, les lits et canapés lit confortables. Si nous devions revenir à Lyon, nous réserverions de nouveau sans hésiter.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed in the hotel Crequi Lyon Part Dieu for 3 nights during visiting Festival of Light. My room absolutely satistied my wishes upon booking - double bed, non-smoking room and highest floor. What was a bit unusual is that the room doesn't have upper light. Saw it for the first tim ein my life, really! When I arrived in the evening when it was already dark outside, it was tricky to find the way how to turn on the lights... So in the evening it was really dark in the room... The best thing I liked - was bathroom. It was stylish and modern, and cozy at the same time. While the room itself more corresponds to a 3-star hotel, but not the 4 stars. Hotel was nicely situated - a short walk from the city centre and also reachable by foot from the train station. The worst surprise was waiting for me upon check-out. Except city tax (which I were told upon arrival, that it should be paid during check-out since my room was already prepaid), I were asked to pay breakfast, and it was 15 Euros for each day and 45 Euros in total! 1) No one told me that breakfast was not included in the room rate (and even web-site says nothing) 2) Breakfast rate is not indicated anywhere at all - so it goes as ”Surprise!!!” 3) The price for the breakfast doesn't corresponds the quality and variaty of food. So was really disapointing! 515 Euros for 3 nights with poor breakfast even during high season (Festival of Lights) is not a fair price

EEileen HPerfect for a budget city break. Great large rooms, lovely and clean. Very helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast with lots of choices and variety. Short walk to Place des Terreaux but the hotel is at the top of a steep hill so not ideal for people who can't walk too far (especially in the heat). The lift at the hotel was not working and our room was on the 3rd floor so request a ground floor or 1st floor room if you struggle with stairs.

Stayed for 2 nights (2 adults & 1 kid) Positives: Clean hotel - To be expected from any Ibis Budget Helpful staff - To be expected from any Ibis Budget Basic amenities - microwave at reception / cold drinking water (may not be complementary but staff let us refill our bottles) Ample car parking - We didn't use since we were not driving McDonalds next door - Helpful only if you are a McD person which I am not!!! Negatives: Rooms are not air conditioned - not sure if that is the case with all Ibis budget hotels but it could get uncomfortable in June nights Location is kind of secluded - can be slightly scary to go out after dark (especially with family) Not too many restaurants (except McD ofcourse), bars, supermarkets nearby Metro station is a good 800-900 mt away so can get tedious if you plan to walk to metro station multiple times a day
