The staff is rude and uncooperative, especially their operation manager , a very malicious and provocative person. The hotel is not 4 stars at all. Before and after the hotel is a construction area, which makes it a very dirty place. The restaurant smells rancid and the food is bad. We could not eat a bite, even the water glasses smelled bad. The session The interior and exterior are lousy, and the disaster is that the beach and the sea are not beautiful, as if you are in a poor village that is not in the Maldives. Our children’s room was dirty and full of insects, and when we told them they just sprayed insecticide and caused our children allergies, the balcony is not soundproofed and all the noise and drums on the beach and the street you hear while you are inside the room, we could not sleep That night, one hour, even the voices of people in the entrance can be heard, and the curtains are not light-proof, the bed and pillows are very bad, we stayed one night and asked to checke out early and that they have to return to us part of the payment of the remaining four nights and for two rooms .we checked out to find out that they deducted all the booking and the high tax and the 5 breakfasts with the green tax with careLess and disregards from their manager . Themiya and Ruwan, the friendly faces at the front office, welcomed us with open arms and ensured that every aspect of our visit was seamless. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were truly appreciated, and they went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. On the culinary front, Nipuna and Janith, the talented chefs at Arena Beach Hotel, took our dining experience to a whole new level. Their culinary creations were nothing short of exquisite, and each meal was a delightful journey of flavors. From delectable breakfasts to romantic dinners by the shore, Nipuna and Janith's culinary skills added an extra layer of magic to our honeymoon. The accommodations were luxurious, offering breathtaking views and all the comforts one could ask for. The pristine beaches and turquoise waters of the Maldives provided the perfect backdrop for romance and relaxation. We stayed as a family for 3 nights in the quadruple room which was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children to sleep comfortably. The quadruple rooms do not face the sea. The condition of the room is excellent and the hotels seems to be well maintained. Service wise, the staff are generally polite. The breakfast had limited options. Be warned, the cats literally dine with you in the restaurant and it appears to be a problem across the island. The beach is nice although it is not maintained as it should be. There were plenty of sun beds available. Water sports are very reasonably priced compared to average prices in Maldives. Overall, pleasant stay.

El hotel Kaani Village forma parte de una cadena hotelera en la isla. El trato ha sido excelente desde el recibimiento, donde no tuvimos que llevar las maletas en ningún momento. La primera persona con la que tuvimos contacto fue con Magic, que nos dio su número de teléfono para cualquier cosa que pudiera pasar. La habitación tiene todas las comodidades: baño amplio, cama grande, enchufes, wifi, aire acondicionado, ventilador, mucha luz artificial y natural, así como acceso a la piscina interior. La playa está a menos de 2 minutos andando. El hotel ofrece todos los servicios directamente, sin terceros. Nosotros hemos hecho excursiones en las que hemos nadado con tiburones, tortugas, hemos visto el arrecife de coral, hemos jugado con las mantas raya y hemos comido en islas desiertas. Además los monitores que nos han tocado han tenido una atención impecable. Hemos coincidido con gente de muchas culturas y se nota el respeto que hay en general. El precio por excursión es de 30-50$ por persona, lo cual es muy asequible teniendo en cuenta que pasas gran parte del día fuera y te incluyen la comida. También ofrecen deportes acuáticos. Nosotros no hemos podido hacerlos porque nos ha faltado algo de tiempo en la isla. Hemos estado aquí 5 noches. En cuanto a la comida, nos hicieron una mejora respecto de lo que habíamos contratado y todas las comidas (desayuno, mediodía y cena) han sido en el Kaani Palm, que está en primera línea de playa. También nos dieron acceso sin mayor coste a la piscina infinita que tienen en la planta 9. Las vistas son increíbles. La playa que está enfrente es privada y sólo pueden acceder los residentes del hotel. En esta playa se puede ir en bikini sin problemas. Hay acomodadores que se encargan de todo lo que te pueda faltar: tumbona, bebidas, comida... Cabe destacar que la isla es una mezcla entre varias cadenas hoteleras y casa particulares de gente que reside aquí, por lo que no es tan artificial como si fuera una isla desierta con un resort. Hay muchos gatos que están muy humanizados, son buenos y se dejan acariciar. En general la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. Si tuviéramos que recomendar el viaje sólo aumentaríamos 1 o 2 días la estancia para poder hacer lo poco que nos ha faltado.

I stayed at Triton Prestige Sea View and Spa for 2 nights in April 2024. We were focused more on Triton Activities and Water sports during our stay! The only reason why I gave 4 starts and reduced one star was because of a lady named Jovi who was at the reception! She was full of attitude and rude! Except for her everyone else at the hotel was so welcoming and exceeding our expectation. Restaurant staff was so welcoming and professional! Dilan and Nishen from Reception was very helpful and guiding us the best way during our stay! We went on the Shark bay tour and I have to say that was the best in my whole Maldives trip! The guide, caption and other 2 guys who were on the boat from staff were very friendly and made sure we had the best experience! They have captured very nice under water photos and videos for us which were like life time memories. It was totally worth the money we spent! We got lucky to swim with Dolphins too that day. Talking about water sports, we did parasailing, jet ski and funtube. The instructors at water sports center was next level! We did jet ski alone and the next day with the instructor! The instructor we got was sooo good and very helpful! The food range at the buffet wasn’t a lot satisfactory but since we were more focused on activities… we were ok with what we got to eat! We highly recommend Triton Prestige Sea View and Spa for anyone who is looking forward for an adrenaline rush with a stress free staycation.

This is not just a holiday. This is a once in a lifetime experience like no other. For us, this was a 10 day honeymoon in paradise and it was thanks to the fantastic folks at Como Cocoa Island who gave us an unparalleled level of service complete with stunning views and amazing food. From the friendly greeting we got by Hardy at the airport to arriving after a speedboat ride and Rishfaz warmly welcoming us to the island and showing us to our gorgeous Dhoni Water Loft Villa. We were astounded by the captivating views of the Indian Ocean from our very own veranda and all we had to do was walk down a few little steps we were and able to go snorkeling with sea turtles and colourful fishes of all shapes and sizes. The actual rooms in the villa were beautiful too. Light, airy, of the highest quality furniture including a giant comfy bed and fully air conditioned throughout which was most welcome in that heat. One step outside and you were greeted by the boardwalk that took you to this tiny little private island escape with beautiful white sand and crystal blue and turquoise waters. The picutres honestly don't do it justice. It has to be seen to be believed. We would eat and have an amazing team serve us for the duration of the trip from the fabulous UFAA restaurant and bar. The food was simply incredible with a variety of dishes that featured local cuisines (including some amazing seafood curries) as well as classic Mediterranean delights and the healthy signature Como Shambala menu was available too. We always were able to try something new each time. What really made the restaurant (and bar) so special though, were the amazing team on hand to serve us. All so friendly and warm, some we got to know so well that they felt more like friends by the end of the trip sharing laughs and jokes all topped with exceptional service throughout. They made us feel more like family instead of occupants. We loved meeting and were served by the excellent Sulthan, Sithin, Michael, Anura, Muru and Hindra all of which gave us the most incredible service throughout as well as being full of life, personality and good vibes. At the bar we had Ravi make us excellent cocktails served at the sandbanks by the fantasic Blu where we would watch the sunset every evening. This team is a credit to Como group and really help this place stand out as one of the most incredible resorts in the world. In addition to this we should mention that the incredibly charming manager of rooms Ahmed who would always greet us so warmly and who would ensure that during our entire stay there we were well looked after throughout. During our stay we had the pleasure of using the Como Shambala Spa which helped us relax with April, Wannee, Chandra and Tari giving us the most amazing signature massages, a speciality of the Como brand. We had to keep coming back for more. Fadzil and Noki at the spa too were also always so friendly and welcoming any time we even passed there. In closing, we can't thank ever

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING AND AVOID TO SPOIL YOUR HOLIDAYS!!! We spent 3 nights there and were treated as if we were money. We went to eat at the hotel restaurant and asked for fresh juice, they gave us very tasteless mango juice and told us that mango in maafushi is not sweet, we had the same juice in another part of the island and it was as we expected. Every time we sit down they insistently ask us if we want water, and even if we say no, they leave the water on the table and don't include it in the bill, as soon as we get up they run after us saying we have to pay for the water, obviously we told them that the water was still closed on the table and we didn't pay. They even charge a 10% service charge like everywhere else but they never bring us change and keep it for themselves. They cook without head cover or gloves and the food was of very poor quality. We asked to join an excursion at the reception 30 minutes before it started and they told us it was not possible to organise it, so we went to the beach, where there is a kaani beach, asked them directly and they organised it for us right away (they were very angry about the attitude of the receptionist and told us that receptionist did not even want to make a phone call). The night was a circus: very loud music from 9pm until 1am and it was not possible to sleep in the room or talk on the balcony because of the noise. Room service did not replace towels, beach towels or toilet the day of departure they told us that some beach towels were missing, so we had to waste time explaining that we hadn't received them the day before. And obviously they asked us to leave a good review in booking, this makes me think they think we are stupid. Avoid this place.

Masala Street (inside White Shell Hotel): The entrance looks very fancy but when you step in, it's a kind of a let down where they have a plain room with tables and chairs put together. As this restaurant is attached to White Shell Island Hotel and Spa, their menu prices are all in USD, as is the case with all such other restaurants in Maafushi Island that are tied with a hotel. On the other hand, it seems that stand alone restaurants charge in MVR. A major negative is that they charge a 4% fee on the Bill of you pay by card, which doesn't apply if you pay by cash. The moment we told that we don't have USD and were about to walk out, the person said it's ok that we pay by card and he'll waive off the 4% fee. LOL! We had ordered Veg. Kadhai and Rotis (because their tandoor wasn't operational, so we couldn't have had naan) and were pleasantly surprised by the taste. It was very much like typical Indian taste. The rotis were phulka and served piping hot adding to the good experience. We would visit again, just for the taste.
