in general everything was fine. good location. for a stay for 1 night exactly what you need. the rooms and bathrooms are clean, but we encountered staff who don't know English, so at first communication was a bit difficult but then thanks to the translator everything was solved :)

The location is decent. It's about a 20-minute walk from Atocha. I stayed in a single room. Towels are provided, and my room came with a sink, a fan, a TV, a wardrobe, and a small table that doubled as a desk, in addition to the nightstands. The bed was super comfortable, and for the price I paid, I found it to be excellent value. A heads-up: if you're sensitive to noise, you might find it a bit uncomfortable. But as I'm a heavy sleeper, I didn't notice a thing. The walls seemed a bit thin, or perhaps it was just very echoey. Honestly, despite that, it's a good place. The shared bathroom wasn't an issue; it's cleaned regularly, and other guests are very considerate.

My room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with great tips on what to see and where to eat. The free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus, and the 24-hour reception made everything super convenient. For the price, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Room in the centre of Madrid. Perfect for anyone. I used it to go watch a football game. Perfect for the price. Can't go wrong here for what you're paying out. Would stay here again

Pros Good location Cons Poor plumbing. The shower water isn't consistent. The bathroom water only drips a little. The location is also very difficult to find. Few English-speaking staff members. The hot water heater doesn't turn on until around 8pm, so it's cold. There's construction going on outside the window, so it's noisy during the day and completely visible from the outside, so I have to keep the curtains closed at all times.

The hostel is old but clean. It's very conveniently located in the heart of Madrid. The bathroom and shower are clean. The decor isn't particularly nice. But it's tolerable for one night.

Overall good, very good location, little space in the room, no place to store suitcases
