Stayed here for 5 nights brilliant clean hotel The views are amazing Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily with clean towels also Was our first visit and will be back again Staff where lovely food & cocktails where good too Pool area kept clean

Quite literally THE loveliest hotel ive ever stayed in ……….. the only down side is it is at the top of the steepest of banks so not ideal for people with walking problems/mobility issues etc …… now thats out of the way …. On to the good stuff….. that horrendous walk up the hill makes it all worth while when you see the incredible views of the sea/beach and bars etc …. Every room has a fantastic sea view that overlooks the amazing pool/poolside !!!!! Can honestly say this is the only hotel ive ever known where the hotel looks exactly like it does in their photos ……. Beautifully decorated …. Clean everywhere …. Plenty sunbeds ….. wonderful staff from receptionists, cleaners, bar staff and lifeguards and the studio room was lovely ….. very modern very spacious and well equipped !!! I could not reccommend this hotel any higher and i cant wait to return in september

Awesome experience.We will come back for sure. Nice hotel,goof staff,clean rooms. We been here a week and we gonna come back next year aswell. They also have a pool with a nice view. I hope they gonna maintain the hotel in this ri** because is awesome.

Great hotel close to the beach and restaurants. The view from the balcony is amazing! The staff personnel was welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Really enjoyed our stay here! Definitely recommend!

Coctails are not professional. In the room were ants, but place is good. All rooms view to the sea. Near beach. Jakuzzi is not warm or hot as I expected. Breakfast is good. No parking by the hotel. Need to find parking every day in the street. I recommend.

Absolutely Love the Sandalo Beach, Stayed here twice now & it honestly does tick all the boxes for us, The rooms are Spotlessly Clean , The Staff are so Helpful & Friendly & dont get me started on the Amazing Views from all the rooms, They really are breath taking, See you all next year Sandalo

Lovely views, bar staff was lovely. Unfortunately reception and house keeping staff not so great. I told housekeeping she can’t come in at this time as my partner was unwell. She barged past me into my and threw her stuff on the worktop screaming at me. There was ants everywhere on the bed. Kitchen workout top everywhere you looked. Spoke to manager she did nothing to resolve this matter. We was on the 8th floor so wasn’t expecting to have this many ants as we did. If it wasn’t for the view you get I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. Unfortunately bad stay and was there 7 nights.

Great views and a great pool area. It really is a lovely pool area and the pool staff are great. Not so good was the fact that it was advertised as a non smoking hotel throughout. That was definitely not the case. Being on the second floor meant we got constant smoke from the pool area. Also being on the second floor meant that at night the hotel lit up the outside of the building with a big large LED blue light. The lower floors meant that their rooms were flooded with blue light all night. So we had to close the curtains! When we complained, we ended up in an argument with the front desk. Basically it’s our problem not theirs! The hotel does not have access to the beach. The beach is about 500 metres away and it’s a steep incline to get to. They do have access to the beach but it is closed because of poor maintenance. The hotels on either side do have their own well maintained access. The staff at HSM Sandalo blamed the poor maintenance because of drunken Brits. Not sure that’s a good excuse. Overall, we did enjoy our time but came away feeling a little non-plussed by the negatives.

We booked 5 nights at HSM Sandalo hoping for a relaxing beach getaway. However, things quickly turned unpleasant when we found ants in every room of the apar**ent as soon as we checked in. When we informed the receptionist, he gave us a big can of insecticide and told us to spray it even though we had two young kids including a newborn with us. The AC was also not working so it was hot and muggy in the room. The last straw was when we found a large cockroach crawling in our apar**ent. We requested the room to be cleaned thoroughly and when we asked if they were able to get the cockroach, the receptionist simply answered “the cleaners just clean”. When we got back to the room, we found the cockroach in the bathroom. At this point, we decided to move hotels and asked for a refund of the two remaining nights. The receptionist refused and told us to deal with it through Booking. We’ve contacted them multiple times via Booking and as of Oct 25, 2023, they have been unresponsive for 10 days.
