It is a beautiful hotel just a stone's throw from the city itself. It is just enough space from the city to experience the quiet, and relaxation needed but close enough to sites. The front desk staff were lovely, prompt, and helpful. The hotel room was spacious, clean and aesthetically beautiful. We had a room with a swim-up bar, the pool water is quite cold but refreshing. The beach requires water shoes given all the pebbles and strong currants. The Aegean sea is stunningly beautiful though. Free breakfast was delicious with many options. Cons. although it promotes itself to be a adults-only hotel, they do rent their beach loungers to people including children, so the vibe of adults-only is not quite there. Families/children are also able to eat at the restaurant so it again did not feel like an adults only hotel. The food at the restaurant for dinner was not good either, which was also a disappointment.

Lovely place, wonderful people. The apartments were spotless. Everything we needed for our one week stay. Looking out over the pool area and yards away from the beach. Nice and quiet considering we were above the bar area. Definitely will go back. Close to all amenities and shops.

Situated right across the beach of Ammoudara, Pelagos Apartments has a bar and offers studios with well-equipped kitchenette and free Wi-Fi.Guests benefit from free sun beds and umbrellas on the beach.Economic price excellent sea view and very clean and comfort. Everything was perfect.

We have just finished a weeks stay in this wonderful place. We cannot praise the hotel enough the location is perfect, on the beach with plenty of sun beds around the pool or on the beach itself. The room was spacious, clean and lots of facilities. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. The food selection was excellent and it was not any problem for them to adapt to various food intolerances - gluten, lactose etc which was especially helpful to us. The staff even took the time to help me with my pigeon Greek.

Lovely staff and excellent fast service. Food was amazing and lots of variety. Very nice location right on the beach. Would 100% recommend. My girlfriend and I went to several restaurants in the Heraklion Area and this was definitely the nicest. We visited several times.

Very nice cocktails, by the beach and nice surroundings.Well worth a visit. They have accommodation, however cannot quote as did not stay here. Also do food, however again did not try this as it was coming to end of season and it actually closed before we flew home.

Can't say much about the hotel itself, because we stayed at the partner hotel, BUT: - beautiful, clean and cozy pool area - friendly staff - free sunbeds - nice restaurant area - super awesome a la carte breakfast, try the blueberry pancakes !

Great beach bar restaurant, at a high level with a Great atmosphere,excellent service from the entrance, very good food (especially the choice of meats for me) nice location almost on the beach. I sincerely recommend..

I usually like Teatro for the design, food and scenery, however the service has never been great. Most waiters are moody, not smiling and not trained properly. Yesterday though I was very annoyed with the service. Planned to go with my friends and a 3 year old kid. I know the pool is not to be used from anyone under 16yo and I respect that so I went before hands and asked if the kid would be ok to sit with us but not using the pool and the response was that there’s no problem with that as long as we pay the 5euros entrance which is fair. To my surprise, 15 minutes after we sat down and ordered our drinks, a gentleman comes over and tells us to move to another area as kids are not allowed. I told him I had asked and got approval and his excuse was that the apartments called and asked for the kid to leave because of the noise. Note that the kid was quietly sitting on a beanbag. We did eventually move to a very windy and unpleasant area and then we got asked to pay some of the pool entrances when we were not even in the pool area anymore. I usually don’t write bad reviews but this was the final time after many bad service experiences at the establishment. Don’t go if you’re after good service. Go for the vibe and the food.
