What to say about Treherene House and its warm hearted proprietors, Alex & Mark Soden? It’s difficult to find the words to do full justice to our experience at this lovely guesthouse near the picturesque village of Great Malvern. Let me try. Magical, relaxing, restful, carefree, abundant, pleasurable, satisfying, perfect. I could go on. Alex & Mark have a wealth of experience in looking after their guests going back decades, although they retain their youthful charm, warmth and vitality. And that experience shows. Everything down to the last detail is arranged for their guests’ optimal comfort and satisfaction. The welcome is as if you were old friends, the rooms are warm and comfortably beautiful, the breakfast is the very best and the service is always with a smile so sincere as to be disarming. And were I able to fully describe the beauty and history of the local area - with the gorgeous Malvern Hills on your doorstep, interesting and welcoming local shops to while away the hours before coffee - I could invoke famous residents of the area including Edward Elgar, Charles Darwin and J R R Tolkien to echo their praises of this beautiful paradise. A short break at Treherene House is just what we needed. As well as thanking Alex & Mark again for their fine hospitality, I take this opportunity to strongly suggest you pay them a visit. My review is easily 5-star, or every star that’s going - and I couldn’t recommend this establishment more highly.

The welcome; the decor and quality of Trherne. The Honesty of an honesty bar :) Breakfast was sublime & the room makeup was spot on. Room was warm with a great double aspect. Hosts (Alex & Mark) are charming and helpful. Late check out was a real treat. Will stay again.

We were so lucky to find this on a search for a post Christmas break. Beautiful property and brilliant location. The hosts Alex and Mark made us so welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The room was decorated to a high standard and bed most comfortable after a long days walking …. Breakfast was equally as good with lots of choice and beautifully presented (even for the most picky eaters ). Thank you for such a lovely stay will definitely be back.

I was in Malvern on business for 2 weeks and stayed at Treherne house B&B for the entire time. The hosts Alex and Mark are great and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate any special requests. My room (Darwin) was great, very homely. I find having a real stand alone shower a real positive. When staying at Treherne you are eligible for a 20% at the local pub Bluebel Inn which really makes getting a good dinner easy. Some additional notes: There is ample off road parking. Nice fast WiFi

What a delightful place to stay. Easy to find and with plenty of off road parking at the front of the house. We were warmly welcomed by Alex on arrival and she showed us round and made us feel very welcome. There is a comfortable guest lounge where we sat each night after dinner and it has a well stocked bar if you fancied a nightcap! We were in the Darwin Room which overlooked the front of the house but nevertheless was very quiet. It is comfortable, spotlessly clean and has everything there that you would need for a comfortable night's stay. Breakfast was perfect, cooked by Mark, Alex's husband, and couldn't have been better. Alex made sure you had plenty of everything and it was obvious that she enjoyed looking after all her guests! Alex and Mark are great hosts and we would definitely stay here again if we are ever back this way.

Just had a fabulous 3 day stay. Alex and Mark are the best hosts. They cannot do enough for you and go out of their way to help. The house is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, and the room and beds are very comfortable. We cannot recommend this place enough, and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely time at Treherne House.We were really well looked after,and the full English Breakfast was superb.The house is very welcoming,and helped us to settle in and relax.It was a joy to stay with Alex and Mark,and we will be back soon definitely. This is our 6th stay at what must be Malvern's best B&B. Alex and Mark are such wonderful hosts providing top notch accommodation. All the rooms are so beautifully decorated , immaculate and very cosy ensuring a relaxing stay. We always look forward to the fantastic breakfasts with home made muesli and the cooked option with quality locally sourced products. The honesty bar in the lounge which is really well stocked is a lovely touch! Can't recommend this place enough!

My husband and myself 100% recommend staying at Treherne House . The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately clean ; the beds are so comfortable and all the necessary home comforts are there ; nothing is too much trouble . We had two of the most delicious breakfasts during our stay ; all preferences catered for and high quality produce . Alex and Mark are the best hosts you could wish for , they go above and beyond to ensure you have the most pleasant and comfortable stay We shall be definitely returning Thankyou both very much and you really do deserve a 5 star review and rating ; Thankyou again Tracy and Gary
