We had a wonderful week at Grand Luley. Very kind staff. Lovely people. Rooms need renovation but everything was working and it was clean. Nice walk to the jetty. Restaurant was really good but we had to wait before being served. Great balinese massage at spa. We had a very nice captain for boat trip to Bunaken or Siladen. Not from grand Luley. Much cheaper. Grand Luley is in a remote area but we had a wonderful week !

We had 2 wonderful weeks staying at New NDC. This place was considered our first home in Manado under the previous management as we had been coming every year since 1997. As this was a diving trip, we had more luggage than normal and they provided more low tables to place the luggage on. The lights in the bathroom and the walk-in closet were dim and it turn out it was faulty and replaced on the same day. The room was big with a king sized bed, the bathroom had bathtub as well as shower cubicle. Service staff was friendly and hospitable. We were treated as family. As a 4 star hotel, it puts out 5 star meals. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves everyday! Looking forward to return here and seeing everyone again. Many thanks for hosting us.!! 😘😘

Wir waren Sept./Okt. 2023 in allen drei Tauchresorts von Bastianos. Wir können Bstianos uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Alle Anlagen sind in gutem bis sehr gutem Zustand. Tauchen mit Bastianos war an allen drei Standorten hervorragend organisiert. Wir hatten für die Dauer des Aufenthalts an jedem Standort einen fest zugewiesenen Tauch-Guide. Die Zuordnung von max. 4 Tauchern ist perfekt. Somit war es möglich auch auf unsere Wünsche einzugehen. Die Unterwasserwelt von Sulawesi ist sehr interessant und vielfältig. Einzigartige Lebewesen und abwechslungsreiche Tauchplätze machen einfach riesigen Spaß. Auch der Support durch Bastianos bei Problemen war hervorragend. Ganz herzlichen Dank an alle Teams: Organisation Küche und Tauchbasen. Besonders an das Team in Manado und Gina.

When we met Simone at a diving fair, we had the immediate feeling that this is the intimate and warm place we want to go to. And the reality was even better. The personnel are very friendly, everything we asked was taken up right away. All trips we booked were arranged perfectly. Very nice to stay at Lembeh as well. The food is honest, very tasty and has a large variety. The set-up of large tables where everybody just sits with other guests makes every meal different and surprising in a fantastic way. Great talks, lots of laughter and sharing travel and diving stories is never boring. Diving is wonderful. The diving staff is experienced, very friendly and they make sure you have a great experience. The bungalows are designed to be very convenient, cozy and spacious in a lush and green environment. And on top of all that, Simone and Arjan are the warm and professional center of this small universe. Simone’s vision of giving back to their community is present in many different ways and left us with the feeling, that we also contributed a little bit. And yes, where guests leave as friends, so true!
