Premier Inn Manchester City (Portland St)

The room was clean but the only complaint was the window was locked and we couldn’t open it ourselves when we wanted you had to go down to reception and get them to come and open it with their key for the window

Good location, clean room, good customer service would stay again

Nuestra estancia ha sido agradable, la habitación es muy amplia y acogedora. No obstante, estuvimos 2 noches y el servicio de limpieza no vino en ningún momento, pese a poner en el pomo de la puerta el cartel de "pueden entrar". Además, en el aseo había una toalla sucia (con bastante maquillaje) de algún inquilino anterior. Aparte, tras el check out dejamos las maletas en la consigna y cuando volvimos a por ellas no nos miraron la numeración de los tickets, si no que nos hicieron entrar a la sala para "coger vuestras maletas" sin comprobar si realmente llevábamos las nuestras... que obviamente sí, pero esto no da ninguna seguridad, porque cualquiera puede robarlas. Por lo demás todo bastante bien.

Bad: - someone elses hairs in bed when i got into it 1st night - wifi signal was very poor. Ended up hotspotting off my mobile - long wait to check in as kiosks werent working. Good: -excellent customer service from Paulo and the team. Went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. - excellent breakfast - vegan options always much appreciated - great location

Needs a refurbishment the rooms and hallways. Just stayed one night for a concert nearby. 5 mins walk from the train station. The window of our room wouldn't close, room 309 as no lock on it. Not a great night sleep from the traffic/ people noise . Breakfast OK and staff friendly.

Decent rooms at a good price and really great service in the restaurant. Thank you to chef Jerzy for preparing poached eggs for me! The hotel was also very clean and staff were all very pleasant and welcoming.

Very handy for the Palace Theatre and Manchester Oxford Road train station. Self service check in is fine but we missed the info about there being a bar open until late, breakfast times etc which other hotels nearby still provide from a welcoming receptionist. A lift was out of order and the place needs decorating. Room was too warm but a fan was provided. Comfy bed, clean room, lots of sockets, a little welcome present with a note was a nice touch. Dom was lovely at breakfast, very efficient and customer focused. Breakfast was great!

The room was very nice and cozy for 1kid and 1 adult but what made it go above and beyond was the customer service especially by Bruno at reception and Dom at breakfast they really made this trip incredible! I would very much recommend this place. We were allowed to leave our bags in a safe place when we couldn't check in before the football 10/10
