The Pearl - Marbella

I loved this place. The Hosts are fantastic and are genuinely attentive to your comfort and enjoyment of this beautiful place they have created. The imperfections are perfect, the ambience is light and relaxing, the breakfast is a must! The shared spaces and rooms are period with tasteful accessories that complement the space. A shared lounge with stocked self service bar, and a fantastic pool and patio area. Wanted to stay longer but it is full so book directly on their website ahead of time and call to get the room that suits you personally

This is really a great place to stay. It is an old house, that has been renovated with great taste! It makes you feel at home. It is in a very quiet area of Marbella, but just 10 minutes by car to the city center. If you love art, lot of works are around the walls for you to enjoy. The furniture is quite cool. And if you are lucky you can meet a very cute pug, that belongs to the owners. The pool is small but gorgeous, unfortunately it was too cold for us to try it out this time.

The pearl provides a beautiful, calm, soothing environment to relax on vacation. A sanctuary in paradise! It’s important to have a car to drive to and from dining and shopping in Marbella. Jonathon was a perfect host. Breakfasts were excellence! Fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh breads, honey, cheeses and eggs provided a substantial meal for starting the day. Our room ( garden room) was beautiful. Small minor repairs needed but only cosmetic. Overall we would highly recommend and return if we are so blessed!

We were absolutely blown away by the beauty of this place. We weren’t sure what to expect when booking the “bungalow” but it exceeded any sort of expectations we had. The room had a private garden with a decking terrace and sunbeds and was beautifully decorated with a chic, bohemian vibe. The whole place had such a laid back, chilled feeling that you immediately felt like you were in a hidden sanctuary. Breakfast was a work of art, delicious fresh fruits, yoghurt and muesli then a cooked egg dish (different both mornings). Jonathan was very helpful with anything we needed. The area felt safe and was lovely to walk around too. It is quite a walk to the old town which we didn’t mind at all being keen walkers, but taxis are very easy to come across too and reasonably priced. The only little thing is that I think the room would benefit from having a coffee machine or kettle (although there is coffee available in the main house it’s chargeable and I just prefer to have coffee available to make in the room as soon as you wake up-but that is a tiny detail that isn’t important and just a preference) I would absolutely love to visit The Pearl again one day.

Everyone who goes to Marbella MUST stay at the Pearl. Everything about this beautiful boutique hotel is amazing, the 2 owners are fantastic and made us feel so welcomed, our room was just beautiful, the decor through out the whole hotel and the pool area is amazing! I was so sad to leave this hotel, we will definitely be returning!

The stay in The Pearl was fab!!! I don’t even know what to start with: 1. Jonathan – the owner – is extremely nice, helpful and friendly. He gave us handful of good advice on where to eat, where to park in the centre or even other towns. He was always there where we needed him. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there, he send a week cake to our room – so delicious, unusual, we could not find it in any bakeries we visited. 2. The old Andalusian villa is nicely renovated with utmost care to keep heart and soul of this building and surroundings. The smell of flowering orange trees was absolutely fantastic. I loved the décor, paintings on the walls and colours of the house. 3. Our room freshly painted, clean, with huge shower and nice, stylish sink niche, was quiet and full of sunshine. Double door opening on their garden area was giving fresh air and coolness when we needed it. 4. Living area downstairs nicely furnished with plenty of windows but also with shade option if needs be. Delicious coffee and tea station always ready for residents. 5. Five-star hotel breakfasts, Gordon Ramsey would not cook it and serve it better. Every day it was different delight. I realised we never asked, maybe Jonathan was a famous chef before he owned this place? 6. Housekeeping ladies were very nice and helpful, each morning asking if we need our room serviced. In the middle of stay (we were there 7 nights), we had full bedding changed, although we did not need that. Everywhere was clean, bright and tidy. 7. Convenient parking area, close to any location you need to get to in Marbella, or to the highway exits to travel further. We could not have dream about better stay in Marbella. I recommend this place with all my heart.
