Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella - Adults Only Recommended

Friendly staff, modern hotel, close to the sea and the beach of the hotel is very convenient. The breakfast is very good and the hotel has parking which is quite useful.

Loved my stay here. I would give this hotel a 5-star rating. The Vibe is amazing. They have great internment throughout the pool and restaurants, which makes it a great way to enjoy yourself. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast is very good at this hotel, and sitting on the terrace is an extra bonus.

Lovely clean hotel, centrally located, excellent friendly and super helpful staff across entire hotel; front desk, breakfast staff, beach club waiters and room cleaners,etc. Music is not loud or intrusive but compliments the character of the hotel and has some enjoyable performances by DJs, violin players and Marbella themed costume performers. (We are in our 50s and the age range is wide) Private beach club for residents with button press drinks service and lovely beach restaurant too. Good sized hotel pool, modern well equipped gym and spa. All rooms are large, clean, modern and have a balcony with sea views. Hard to find fault with anything really.

Great stay at this beach hotel. Service, cleanliness, food options, beach chair- all perfect. Zero complains about the hotel at all. Especially loved the adults only factor. Super cool vibe and great location for walking to old town. Highly recommend. The only thing to note is the beach itself is not great but that’s not the hotels fault. Perfect stay at Amare

We have just arrived back from a 9 night / 10 day stay at the Amare Marbella, spanning 24/06 – 03/07. I’m not usually one to write reviews however due to the nature of our stay I felt it was worthwhile to create a post & give the hotel credit where it is due. First off, I cannot fault the hotels general vibe, cleanliness, and very attentive members of staff. From the moment you walk into the lobby, it is made very clear you are staying in a premium establishment – we were greeted with a friendly check-in, offered assistance with our bags, and given a complimentary spa access package for me and my girlfriend (which we made use of on the one rainy day we encountered). Upon getting to our room, while we did technically have a ‘side-sea view’, our balcony was also half looking onto the apartment block next door, so I thought I would see if anything else was available. With minimum fuss, we were moved to a different room on the same floor with an extraordinary view – overlooking the pool and ocean. In terms of the pool, the hotel operate a very effective 30 minute absence policy, whereby if you have ‘reserved’ loungers with your towels but are away from the poolside for more than 30 minutes, these will be removed & freed up for another guest. Whilst daunting at first, we found this worked quite well, & although we were up around 8.30/9.00am every day, never struggled for a lounger & rarely saw others doing so. That being said, there is a vast overflow section of loungers located directly on the beach next to their beach club, should you be unable to get a lounger close to the pool or prefer views of the ocean. Each lounger has a service button you can press & order hotel food/drink without having to get up – this worked well (for the most part), and it was especially handy being able to just charge a round to your room should you not have cash/card by the poolside, however we did find waiters/waitresses a little slow to come round with orders. The main reason for my review is that, halfway through our 10 night stay, I had come up to my room to get a snack – around 1pm. It was very fortunate I had as, as I was midway through a bowl of cereal, I heard a key card inserted into the door and a random (what I assume to be) guest walking into my room. He proceeded about 5 feet past the hallway before realising I was there, then quickly apologised & turned back, shooting out of the room. I immediately followed to query how he had been given access to our room just as he was getting back into the lobby elevators, and he explained through a half shut door that he must be room 308 (we were room 408), and told me not to worry as he was going down to reception to fix it. After informing my partner about what had happened, we went to reception – obviously visibly upset that some stranger (guest or not – who knows?) had been given access to our room. This is the 4th time we have returned to this fabulous adults only hotel. It is a superb hotel with excellent helpful staff. Especially Jesos who looked after us every morning whilst we over indulged in the magnificent Cava breakfast! There are so many things to mention about this hotel. The beach club and restaurant are a truly amazing place to while away a few hours. Not to mention the food is very good there too. The roof top bar to catch the sunset and evening breeze. The hotels position right on the promenade is ideal to join the morning walkers and runners! As it is to wonder up to the Old town just a few minutes walk away. The rooms are fab. Not enormous but you won’t be in it much. And don’t get me started on all the sweets Ive just eaten. Positioned at various help yourself stations. All in all Amàre you are Amazing.

Great hotel and excellent location. Very trendy and modern. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was also consistently good. Staff was super friendly. One of the nicest touches is that they have bluetooth speakers in the ceiling in your room that also play in the bathroom. The outdoor pool was well tended and the staff were attentive. There were always taxis waiting outside when you needed them and getting around was really easy.
