Acacia Marina

Beautiful hotel! Would be nice to have free access to the private beach. The rest is good.

We stayed 5 nights at the Acacia Palace. The room had a partial sea view which was lovely, there is a sofa in the room which added to the space. The balcony faced the sun in the early evening which was lovely to sit on at the end of the day with a glass of wine. The room was spotless with housekeeping every day changing the bed/towels etc. The gardens are immaculate. The whole of the hotel is very clean and well presented. It was lovely to sit and have a cocktail in the evening and Gianni made very nice Margaritas. There is bar service at the pool whch was a nice touch. The hotel is very peaceful and relaxing especially if you had been out and about in the daytime. It is well located to visit Ragusa Ilba, Modica, Noto and Siracusa. It is an easy walk in the evening in the Marina to visit many of the restaurants. I would definitely visit this hotel again.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this fabulous hotel. We stayed in a superior room with limited seats views and couldn't fault it. The whole hotel was very well kept. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. In particular Florentine. The food was amazing and we were very lucky in that we were treated to a 4 course a la cart menu every evening. The pools were kept very well maintained if a tad cold. The surrounding area was only just opening up as it was just the start of the season. But that was just a bonus for us as it wasn't too busy. The beach was just across the road from the hotel and there was a leisurely 20 minute walk to the main town and the marina where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed ourselves and will hopefully be back soon. Many thanks

Fabulous hotel - calm, clean decor; beautiful gardens, plenty of quiet & comfortable seating areas, 2 great pools, a minutes walk from a gorgeous beach and short stroll to small town. Hotel staff all very friendly, efficient, helpful and a special mention for Floren & his catering, restaurant & bar team. We chose early season for a quiet, relaxing, chill out holiday, and that is exactly what we got. Thanks so much

Comfortable hotel within walking distance of the town. Sold as an adults only hotel but shares restaurant with the sister hotel next door. Nice private pool area and grounds. Guided tours of the neighbouring area available from the hotel and bicycles to borrow. One minor gripe: Why do they have to charge a daily fee to use the safe in the room?

After a 1 & 3/4hr taxi transfer we were met with a free drink, informed about mealtimes ,paid for safe, picked up our pool towels & quickly booked into our rooms.The rooms are modern with a good rainfall shower ,comfy bed,safe,tea and coffee making facilties ,free toiletries fridge and a nice quiet effecient air conditioning system.The maid came every day topping up anything that required it & did a great job cleaning with a smile and a " bonjourno". We stayed in the adult only part of the hotel with its own pool but its seamlessly connected to next door with its larger pool ,hot tub and in fact the restaurant is situated in this part too where we took breakfast each day buffet style with plenty of hot & cold choices and a cooking station for eggs The gardens are really pretty & well tended which you walk through to the gate & then literally 50 yards down to the beach where there is the hotels private area with beds but you do have to pay for them ..there are plenty of free public areas too. If you walk down the prom you come to the main square where there are plenty of restaurants to coose from & then a little further the marina with its restaurants too.At the entrance to the main square to the left is a great beach bar where you can watch the surfers & para surfers.

What a lovely hotel! We spent a great week here at the end of June. Spoilt ourselves with a ‘palace room’, hot tub and lovely views out to the sea. The room was a good size, lovely and clean. We stayed B&B so we were out of an evening sampling the many nearby restaurants, but the the breakfasts were decent. The hotel is effectively two hotels in one, the Palace and the Marina - meaning two pools to choose from, both having lots of space. Gardens are lovely and well maintained and the bar has a reasonably priced tariff. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, and there’s a private area for hotel residents. It’s a lovely area, great for relaxing and also as a base to head out sightseeing from. On-site and on the road parking is plentiful Final mention is for the staff. What a wonderful team. Every member of staff we encountered was pleasant, friendly and helpful. If we head to Marina di Ragusa again we will stay here for sure

A pleasant stay at the Acacia Palace. We arrive late due to a delay to our flight, but we were still given a warm welcome at 12:45am. We stayed in a deluxe room with a partial sea view. The room was large enough with comfy bed and also include a small balcony that overlooked the resort. We stayed on a B&B basis. Breakfast was nice a good selection of hot and cold food. Breakfast taken in the adjoining hotel Acacia Marina, which was next door only. The staff in the main we very friendly. One thing to be aware of is they charge €2 service charge for when they deliver drinks to the pool area ! We were also informed at check in that we would be charged €2 per night for the ssfe ! and pool towels but cost £3 euro every time you requested new towels. On check out these cost we’re not on the final invoice. The beach lido for the hotel will cost you £15 half day or £25 full day. The Hotel has a great location 25mtrs from the beach and 150mtre from the local supermarket and the town centre is a 10 minute walk along the sea front.

We had a late summer 10 day stay here and it was very relaxing. The room was reasonably large and the bed nice. Shower over the bath only had a small screen and it did spray about a bit. Air con was effective but not very powerful, fortunately the hotel (unlike most) already have a keycard in the slot so it can be left running 24hrs which means returning to a cool room. Pool area was nice and clean and when we were there, very relaxed. The hot tubs were a nice touch and the lifeguard/attendant always on the ball checking and cleaning things. As it was very late season, the hotel was quiet and this gave it a very relaxed feel, while the main bar was closed, the reception bar was nicely appointed and the service from the staff was friendly and fun. Breakfast was a buffet style with a call order for omelettes, bacon etc and nice, but like most Italian hotels, the juices are sweetened. Location was about perfect. The private beach is a two minute walk away and the beach itself was clean and had gently shelving sand so ideal for kids. Town is a 10 minute walk and as long as your visit is before the 'farewell to summer' event, all the restaurants were open, though they do like their fish :) Overall, a relaxing stay and if I went back, I would stay here.
