Hotel Riad Todos

Arrived having paid fully, to be presented with an additional charged of €72 for 4 nights. Apparently a cleaning tax. The place was a mess and hell to find. While waiting the smell was awful, so opted to take another riad through ***********. resultes in an excellent place riad New Moon. Same overall price.

Having stayed in a riad before i knew what to expect. The rooms are pretty basic, but as you wont be in it much bar sleeping. Its serves its purpose. Be aware that there is only a sheer curtain between the room and ensuite so privacy is not an option!! The shower does take at least 6 mins to heat up. The social area is lovely and the roof terrace really nice to relax in after a day out. It is about 10 mins walk to jemaa fna but i would advice taking photos of your route to find your way back as the riad is down a series of lane ways off a main walk way. The staff were obliging, i had to get my boarding pass printed ( marrakech airport dont accept phone copies), and while the riad didn't have a printer they did get it sorted for me, and i had to meet my taxi at 4am a little walk away the patrin from the riad walked me to it, which i really appreciated. The staff were just not very friendly, i do have french so can convers but found they didnt really want to engage. I would stay again, as once i found my way it was convenient and served purpose.

We simply could not stay. It starts with an unfriendly receptionist charging an extra cleaning fee before you are given the room. No pillows, dirty bed cover ( not warm enough), no chair or anything to hang clothes, the most basic bathroom without soap/amenities…just stay away

We did not book to come here - we originally booked the Riad Dar Narjis through **********, but on arrival were told that they were overbooked, and they could arrange for us to go the the Riad Todos instead..... Where the responsibility for the overbooking lies exactly, I am unclear, but this is a cheaper Riad than what we originally booked. It would be interesting to hear if anybody else has had a similar experience. Plus points are the location, less than 10 mins walk from the main square; yet relatively quiet for Marrakech, friendly staff and comfy bed. The cat also comes and makes friends with you. On the downside, rooms are small, can get quite cold and damp at night. Toilet did not work properly and no soap or other toiletries was supplied. Shower was weak and water was tepid.. All in all a few things needed fixing/overhaul. Bathroom has no door, only a flimsy transparent curtain so if you are sharing with somebody, you need to know them very well....

Very clean just inside the Médina so easily accessible to the main road taxis and the souks. Our host Yassin was so helpful his English was very good, and he would go out of his way to help. We only had dinner once in the hotel this was very good. The room was tidied every day. The have a cat called Mario so if you like cats he is cute. We would definitely visit here again

Never again is all I can really say . I wanted to get the Moroccan experience but I will never stay in this riad again . Next time I will rent an apartment or stay in a hotel . When I first got there things were fine but it quickly changed . The room was extremely cold . Shower barely got hot I’m anemic so I literally slept with my clothes on . Breakfast was mediocre literally the same thing everyday . Staff ( well one particular employee) was extremely shady . Constantly knocking at the door even after I said I was going to sleep. I traveled alone to Morocco doesn’t mean I want to get harassed . I traveled alone for the past 2 years but I never felt as uncomfortable. The employee constantly asked if I liked him even though I told him no we’re just cool I barely know you . He would try to pressure me into to doing things that I said no to. He wouldn’t take no for an answer . I had to literally start ignoring him . He seen me talking to a guy outside the riad and screamed at me telling me not to talk to him as if he was my boyfriend or husband . I didn’t know this man from a can of paint literally . It was just overall not a good experience. I was supposed to leave on the 29TH but with the border shutting down I was stuck in morocco.The owner did accommodate me ( with payment of course ) but I do believe he was dishonest . At the end of the day it was just about the money . The only reason I did not leave the riad is because other riads in the area were in worse conditions .

Des frais de ménage et taxes de séjour à payer alors que c’était stipuler nul part. Ils ne voulaient pas nous donner la chambre tant que ces frais n’étaient pas payer. Pour qu’au final le ménage n’ait pas été fait car « ils avaient perdus le double des clés de notre chambre » … Ils nous ont tout de même changé de chambre. Pour la tranquillité ce n’est pas non plus le bon endroit car à partir de 8h30 le personnel ne parle pas mais cris dans le Riad. Tout est prétexte à gratter de l’argent en plus. Vraiment très mauvaise expérience

Riad bien placé Personnel à l’écoute, un grand merci à Sofiane et Salah, khalid et Mouna . Ce sont des gens qui vous reçoivent très bien !!!! Un bon qualité/prix. Literie impeccable et petit déjeuner sympa !!! Bonne continuation.

nous y étions pendant le tremblement de terre je déconseille ce riad pas de gérant pas de veilleur de nuit je me lever la nuit pour ouvrir aux nouveaux arrivant nous avions la chambre au dessus de l'entrée et le veilleur de nuit ne se lever pas et ce riad est sale et le gérant nous a fait payer 80 euros de plus je déconseille ce riad il a rien a faire de nous a part draguer le reste rien a faire
