First of all the positive of this hotel, is that the villa is spacious and relatively nice. Staff are also nice, if not particularly helpful. Now for the negative: when we arrived, the Wi-Fi was not working, someone had to come the next day to change the equipment which was old. The villa was infested with ants, including in the beds - had to ask for this to be fixed, but was never fully resolved. The shower was leaking very badly downstairs into the kitchen which caused stains on the ceiling, and the cupboard to rot, as well as leaving the kitchen smelling musty for the duration of the stay. We had room service on the second or third night and the plates were left outside our kitchen door for days despite repeated requests to remove. The breakfast is a disaster - there are not enough tables and chairs and you have to stand around with your food in your hands! The gym is another disaster, with only a couple of broken machines with the console hanging off. There were no lounge chairs outside, we kept having to ask to finally get a couple. No umbrellas either! The villa also has a lot of problems like broken doors, flaking plaster, etc. Another issue is that the hotel does not serve alcohol, not even in the restaurant! All in all, was definitely not 5 stars - maybe 2 or 3. To add insult to injury, I asked for a slight later check out but was refused this and had to wait in the common part which is not air conditioned, during the heat of noon! This was the first time and the last that I visit this hotel sadly, which is a shame as I feel with a good management team and a bit of money spent, it has great potential, but as it stands, not recommended at all!
