Riad le Rihani

The communication before we arrived was fantastic and they wassaped us with details of how to find them. They also offered to arrange a taxi to the nearest spot and then for porter to walk you to the riad and we accepted. It was so convenient and very reasonable as the riad is tucked away. The riads location is perfect and is a little piece of paradise 1 mins walk to the shops and a 5 mins walk from the main square full of the markets, restuarants and food stalls. The riad has a lovely length pool to cool down in and is so relaxing to enjoy some shade. The sound of the water and birds is the perfect place to read a book after a busy day exploring. The roof terrace is beautiful and a suntrap but there is shade and showers to cool down in. You can order drinks to anywhere in the hotel and the riad serves alcohol. The wifi is really good and the hotel offered to print our boarding paddes for the way home as the airport pnly accepts a hard copy. The breakfast was more than needed and delicious and if you need anything else, just ask. The staff were so helpful and friendly and could not do enough for you. The products in the bathroom were lovely and the bed linen and towels are crisp and white 👌 We have had the most wonderful weekend in Marakesh and the Riad Le Rihani was a huge part of it. Thank you to Nadia, Caroline and all the other staff who have been wonderful. We stayed in Marakesh before but in a hotel however this is a much better experience. We would return to Riad Le Rihani in a heart beat 💓 Merci beaucoup mes amis

We're just back from a fabulous 3 nights staying in the Le'Esclave suite. It was just perfect, and so easy. We used the Riad's transfer from the airport, and were met at the drop off area of the medina, then walked to the door (took away any stress of finding it the first time!). Our room was beautiful, bigger and a bit brighter than I imagined from the website photos. The bed is very comfortable and huge! Everything in the whole Riad was spotlessly clean, the staff so very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed taking it easy on the rooftop for the first afternoon, and each day enjoyed a relaxed breakfast by the pool. The riad is quite well hidden, so close to the main action, but so quiet once you get through that amazing wooden door. It's beautiful when lit up at night too, you can head to the roof to watch an epic sunset over the mosque and hear the last call to prayer.

The staff at this Riad make staying here the most amazing experience. Everyone was incredible, however a special shout out to Coco who helped us organise everything and never stopped smiling. The nicest people you could ever wish to meet.

Most friendly and care taking personnel making you feel to be within a family. The Riad is nicely located close to the central market square but in a very quiet block. Rooms are very comfortable, inside plaza really beautiful and the Hammam was very nice.

Le Rihani was such a special find. A lovely, serene place tucked away on a quiet side street but right near the action. With its 10 rooms, it was almost like staying at a friend's luxurious home. I felt so peaceful there that I did not want to leave! Location: The perfect location halfway between the Jemaa el-Fnaa and the Bahia Palace. They will send a car for you but if you want to go yourself, just opposite the Patisserie Corne de Gazelle, duck under the the leather purse covered arch into what looks like a tunnel. First left. Quick left and then right at the first wall. Then it is the last door on the left when you hit the next T :) Staff: Very friendly and took wonderful care of us, especially Sofia in the office. She was very accessible by What's App, which was important given our connecting flight was delayed by 5 hours! Rooms: We stayed in the Family Suite Ayla with our two college and high school aged kids. The suite had three spaces: you enter via a small niche with a twin, proceed to a larger room with a queen, through a hallway with doors to the toilet room and the sink/shower room and into the back room with a queen. It was perfect for us. Beds were firm but comfortable. Shower was spacious. Double sinks convenient (though too shallow to do laundry in). Food: The food was delicious. I miss those breakfasts - each morning, a different type of Moroccan bread/pancake, a different (sweet) quick bread, honey, jam, cheese and fruit. Eggs available upon request. We had dinner there 2 of our 4 nights. Normally we want to go somewhere different every day, but the food was delicious and the poolside table so nice, we had to stay in for dinner our last night. Downsides: We loved, loved, loved Le Rihani, and I personally am heading straight back if I ever go to Marrakech again, but just two notes. (1) The stairs to our room were particularly steep and tight. I wouldn't want to carry a child up them. Would have been hard for someone a little unsure on their feet or someone with large frame. (2) Bathroom also very tight - not the best for someone with a large frame.

When you're here you're home. Absolutely beautiful riad with the most amazing staff. The location was perfect, a short walk to the markets and restaurants yet very peaceful. We were greeted with mint tea and snacks upon arrival. Our room was exactly as pictured, very spacious and comfortable. The pool was luxurious, the spa was relaxing, and the food was incredible. We actually had the best dinner all week at our own riad. Thank you Nadia, Sofia, Eunice, Mohammed, and Ali for making our stay so enjoyable.

Tremendous property with an outstanding staff. We felt ver welcome and comfortable.

Location of Riad is minutes from the square making tour pickups and walking very convenient. Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this Riad.

It's a friendly welcoming place in a good position , the staff were lovely with happy smiling faces, Breakfast was good, prepared in a traditional way but you can have your eggs made to your specification while sitting around the pool , small pool but a lovely feature in a lovely setting. An eclectic friendly mix of people staying there when I visited. The room was fab. Large high ceilings, spacious with a comfy bed. I had dinner there one night, a lamb tagine with cous cous and moroccan bread which was dreamy. There are a couple things that need a little more attention like the roof terrace also the tv wifi signal in the room was glitchy, however, who really needs a tv when you have a backdrop like marrakech ... I had a fab time and would happily make another visit. Choukran bezaf 🙂
