We were really disappointed that this hotel evidently took part in a new pilot program to get rid of coffee machines in the rooms in favour of a slow grind and brew machine in the lobby. We had specifically booked Holiday Inns for our recent trip down the west coast because we wanted a Keurig machine in the room - not fans of the glass carafe and crappy coffee at most places, so we either bring our own pods, or we will bring our own coffee and an Aeropress. We did not bring our Aeropress this time as we were booking Holiday Inns. Ws also unimpressed with the ”walk in shower” which was really just a cheap aluminum and glass shower kit, with mildewy silicone joints. In addition, the door did not close properly. The front desk staff was great, and we were only staying for one night, so we didn't bother asking for a different room. If Holiday Inns get rid of in room Keurigs, we will be looking into other chains.

This is a Hotel with great staff. The rooms are a DISASTER. The lighting is so bad I could not work in the evening. The rooms only have a fixed light above the beds. It is not possible to light the room. The rooms need a total rethink. They are too dark.
