We stayed at the Walawwa Guest and had a memorable experience. The property exudes a charming blend of traditional architecture and comfort, instantly making feel like we are at home. Set in a peaceful location, it offers an escape from the hustle and bustle, yet is conveniently located close to city. The rooms are clean, and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The guesthouse also provides basic amenities like Wi-Fi and hot water, making the stay hassle-free.The lady who owns the Walawwa Guest Home Stay was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure every need was met. They were always available to assist, whether it was arranging transportation, offering local travel tips, or ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. We have asked for homemade meals and those were a real highlight! Breakfasts were delicious with a variety of local food options. The authenticity of the Sri Lankan food stood out, and I highly recommend a traditional meal during stay.What sets Walawwa apart is its tranquil atmosphere. The lush garden and outdoor seating areas provide a serene environment for relaxation. If you’re lucky, you might spot some local wildlife or enjoy a peaceful moment in the garden. The rates are very reasonable considering the quality of service, comfortable accommodations, and the relaxing atmosphere. I can not expect a better place for the price I paid. It was an awesome experience. Host was really friendly and caretaker is an innocent kind person. Very calm surrounding. Rooms were very clean and had all what we needed. Walawwa architecture is also a highlight.

Peaceful environment. Traditional Sri Lankan Walawwa with so much of history. Ideal place to stay for short or long stay. Reasonable prices and really friendly staff.. loved it. Ideal for digital nomads to stay for a long period time. Highly recomended.
