Gala Gala Eco Resort

We loved this place! Long before we arrived, Bev, the owner, answered our questions and was proactive in reaching out to us about the storm that hit the country further in the north, and making sure that we had all travel documents and tourist invitation to make the border crossing easier. She even offered to fetch us at the frontiere if we needed. We drove though to the resort on the new tarmacked road, and the signage to the resort is easy, beginning at the photo op 'Ponta' sign. We had a deluxe cabana, suitable for the four of us. We adored our surroundings, the cabana, the staff and certainly the food! Everything about this place was wonderful, and, we will be back, the next time for weeks instead of the four days we were here. Thank you Chico for your personal tour around the resort. We loved every minute of our stay here.

We ended up at Gala Gala unexpectedly at nighttime. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. What an amazing, peaceful and friendly place! The staff and owners were just incredibly kind and helpful (made sure our rooms were ready even though we came super last minute, helped us fix something on our car that caused it to not start, always in for a chat). The rooms were clean and beds equipped with good mosquito nets. The lounge area was awesomely decorated and comfy. Had a great breakfast in the morning and they have lovely cappuccinos! As I live in Maputo, I’ll definitely be back and will recommend to future visitors as well. Big bonus: there were lots of furry friends around (we even got personally escorted by one of the dogs on our walk from the restaurant a bit down the road back to the hotel).

Gala Gala Eco Resort it's the perfect place for a experience for nature lovers. The staff is the best and always careful and ready to help you in everything. Lov it. Recommended.
