I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was beautifully placed on the east coast of the island. Great views of the beach. But the truly outstanding thing about this place were the staff. Undoubtedly the heart and soul of the place. I definitely recommend anyone going to Mauritius to have a stay at this hotel. A very special thank you to Rishi & the team. What an incredible hotel! Everything was amazing! The service was 100/10. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. Nothing was too much for the staff. I never had to ask for anything twice. It was brought out right away. Our butlers Hrithik, Ishwar and Thaarish were amazing! We were added to a WhatsApp group upon arrival. No request was too much. We would receive and answer within seconds. Vicky made sure our family’s need were met. All of the staff took their time to speak to us and made sure we were happy. The service was honestly some of the best we have ever had The facilities were spotless. The grounds were well manicured and absolutely stunning. We had an beachfront queen balcony room that was amazing! It was a very clean modern room with lots of extras such as a a beach bag, water bottles, sandals, hats etc included. The room was cleaned so well twice a day. Our kids enjoyed the actives at the kids club such as the pizza cooking class. The spa facitlies stunning and so clean. I had an amazing 90 min massage. The beach was so beautiful and well looked after. Even though the hotel was almost at full capacity there were so many beach and pool chairs available. The food was good. However, I would suggest adding more options to the restaurant prime. If you are there for an extended amount of time you will have to eat at all of the restaurants and unfortunately we don’t eat beef. The cocktails were okay nothing really stood out. Over all what an incredible stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone especially traveling with families! We will definitely be back next year.

Wow! This was our 3rd trip to the beautiful island of Mauritius. 1st time on East coast. I was a bit apprehensive when I heard about the wind and it being winter. But no need. This is truly an amazing resort. I would like to thank each and EVERY member of Solana. From the security, gardener’s, cleaning staff, reception, waiters, chefs - I can carry on and on. Everybody was so genuinely friendly and helpful. Urvi thank you for my beautiful henna tattoo. Premula, for all the beautiful flowers and clean room. Andy at Lakaz Rum - you made the experience so much fun. Food was fabulous and in abundance. Whole resort was so clean and beautiful. Beachfront - paradise! And the wind everybody warned us about was no more than a breeze. Even the transfer from and to resort from airport was quick and so informative. Isfaaq, we will def speak to you again. This resort is the ideal location. Fantastiq!! Merci

Room (wooden) floor squeaked loudly when walked on
We stayed downstairs and we could hear people in the room above us walking, closing the door, dragging their chair (a lot when they returned from dinner late around midnight) We had bad nights because of this.
Room AC is not cold. Even though it’s set at the lowest (18.5c) it felt like 25c
Overall, it was an ok stay but we won’t stay here again.

The number one priority shared by every staff member at Salt is to provide superior customer service for their guests and ensure that their needs are met in a beautiful and relaxing environment! Everyone was kind and welcoming which made our stay enjoyable!
We loved having easy access to the beaches, as well as the many water activities provided by the hotel. The gentlemen at the boat house were helpful and encouraged us to participate in all of the activities! The beach is very clean with breathtaking views of the clear blue, turquoise water, sunny days and beautiful sunrises/sunsets!
The spa, Salt Equilibrium, is very nice! Anju has a fun, carefree personality, and very professional and knowledgeable in regards to massage therapy!
The food was good, but my friend and I agreed it is a bit overpriced! Breakfast is made to order! The chocolate praline croissants were my favorite…oh! And chai lattes! Cocktails weren’t our favorite as I believe the bartenders were probably beginners. However, they do have nice wine selections!
Overall, our experience was excellent and we would most definitely rebook this hotel again! One recommendation would be to have transportation (motor bike or car) so you’re able to venture off to see other areas of the island! However, the hotel reception would be more than willing to book transportation for you!

Nice, cosy little hidden gem. Fabulous staff,great food relaxed laid back atmosphere.Free glassbottom/snorkeling trips daily by hotel. First many thanks to Bor lamer restaurant dayboss Christof? I think. Allways pro service with great smile,truly gentleman. Then special mention to Kot Nou restaurant chef Dimitri? Best dinner we have had a long time. We also took a foot massage in spa. It was heaven, so relaxing. We have been many spas before, but this was a top:) And Karen filled all our request kindly, allways with big smile:) Our Cleaner Patricia kept our room spotless. Never seen that kind of art made by towels before, and we have have been a round:) All workers deserves thankyou for their hard work making our stay unforgettable. Very last day, even spotted huge stingrays hanging around, amazing:) Will definetily come back this hotel someday:) Best regards, Ville&Sanna

Service and food could be better.
Breakfast and Dinner are served as buffet. Dinner can also be in one of their separate restaurants which offer a la carte menu. Restaurants needs separate reservation and we needed to wait two days to get a spot. Buffet food is not the best if I need to judge but it’s something subjective.
Service level is good but not great. Something we also experienced in another hotel on the island.
Hotel has created their own beach which is a kind of bay. So if you are looking for a perfect sand beach, just be aware.

We have stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the world, which we have enjoyed, but the Oberoi Mauritius is a true gem. We were limited with having only a week off work, so we wanted somewhere we could just relax without doing too much. The Oberoi was perfect. After a long cramped flight we were collected from the airport by the lovely Raj, in the hotel car. Raj gave us a potted history of the island, and the journey flew by. There were free activities every day, including painting and cooking classes. Sunita was the chef for the cooking class, and she was the star of the Oberoi for me. I didn't say I was vegetarian when I booked the class, but she changed the menu for me and went out of her way to make our time special with the help of Krishna and Harry. The food was top class even for vegetarians. There were free water sports and star gazing. There were also free wellness sessions every day. Henrio was my guru. The meditation and tai chi classes were wonderful. Ronnie did a great workout, and Amanda was a wonderful masseur. On my birthday, I was made to feel very special with bucks fizz at breakfast and my room decorated with balloons. My impression of this hotel, which is different from others I have stayed in, is that the emphasis is not on making more money from you during your stay but ensuring you are happy. There is no expectation of tips, and they are usually refused. The locals access the beach through the hotel and are treated with respect. The hotel manager, Mr Pandy, is very ”hands-on,” making time to speak to all the guests. Along with the gardens and birds, this all contributes to the ambience at this hotel that makes it so special. We try not to go to places again, but I think this will be an exception

PPanchaleeGreat hotel. Perfect location! The beach in front of the hotel (and the whole Le morne beach) is so stunning. The water is sooo clear and had different shades of blue. We stayed all over the island on our trip but we find Lux Le morne has the most amazing beach with the view of Le morne mountain and when you go out in the sea and look back at the hotel, it’s just so so stunning! The room was also cozy with very comfortable bed. The only bad thing about the room was the hot water in shower sometimes just stopped working (finished) and we had to wait!! There are a lot of sun beds but if you don’t reserve one, they are usually all taken by the afternoon. Breakfast was good. Lots of water activities. The gym was a bit too small and sauna took forever to get heated so we gave up. Service was good. The pools were beautiful with the view of Le morne mountain. Overall, we loved this hotel and enjoyed our stay a lit. This was our most fav hotel in Mauritius and if we ever return, we would stay here again.

TTarynAn amazing hotel right on the water with every room facing the water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Beautiful big rooms with lovely balconies. The dinner and breakfast were also really good, with a great variety and a lovely outdoor area to sit at.
I do however think the cleaning staff need to take a bit more care when cleaning. We were there for 6 nights and 3 of the nights we had to phone housekeeping because we did not have towels, or we did not get toilet paper, or we did not get our bath robes… and then housekeeping took at least 20-30minutes to bring the items.
The other thing was that they put a single duvet into a double duvet - so when you are sleeping there are many times when you only have a sheet and no duvet. Maybe change that.
Otherwise I really can’t complain about anything. There are plenty of beach chairs and there were always chairs available and it was an amazing and relaxing place.

On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome.
The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice.
We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food.
The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for.
Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience:
- Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness
- Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful
- Rooms didn’t feel clean
- Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast
- Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it)
We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

My partner and I had a superb stay here in mid-February and would wholeheartedly recommend a visit. We were attracted by the hotel's environmental ethos and it was great to see that they walk the walk as well as talk the talk. The absolute highlight of this is the Marine Discovery Centre and the projects it runs to help preserve the lagoon's reef and mangroves. We really enjoyed the snorkelling and mangrove kayak offerings, and it was so interesting to learn from the Centre's coordinator Vhashish who clearly loves what he does. My partner and I are vegan, and it's always a bit of an anxiety for us that there will be enough options when we go away somewhere on holiday. But the hotel has a wide selection of vegan and veggie offerings, and a commitment to grow these further. To be honest, the selection was wider than you'd get in a lot of places in the UK - we were so impressed! Away from the main buffet, there were three on-site restaurant options. We managed to get to two of them - Coral and Kot Nou. Both were fantastic. There was a slight hiccup at the latter, but the staff and management dealt with it in a really professional way. A particular shout-out to Nitish who helped us out. In terms of the other aspects of our stay, we felt that the environment offered everything you could want from a beach resort. The relaxation zone was tranquil, while the livelier zones offered excellent live entertainment. We were out to relax above all else and it never felt like the livelier parts of the resort encroached too much. The other great thing was it never felt overly busy anywhere, so stress was at a minimum. Perhaps our only criticism was that service could be a little slow in the buffet restaurant and at the main bar. But things always came with a smile, so we can't really complain. It could also be made a bit clearer exactly what's included in all-inclusive and what isn't. These are both very minor points for what was a great stay.

recommendation to consider Stephen for higher responsibility. Stephen’s service was exceptional. In case there is more than one Stephen employed as a waiter at La Guelete Restuart, allow me to elaborate. I enjoy taking a seat for breakfast and lunch outside overlooking the walk way from the entrance to the main pool. Stephen always greets, always, and always with a sincerely and happiness to see me again. And, i would say Stephen does his job with a joy and appreciation to the platform RIU resorts and hotel Turquise Mauritius affords us. A platform Where guests can come and enjoy and be waited upon for drinks, and a platform affording hard working, diligent, trustworthy men like Stephen employment and an opportunity to provide a service and hopefully excel in life professionally I can say Stephen’s service was beyond excellent during my stay from 18-23 Jan 2025 and RIU Turquise Mauritius. Please consider this man for promotion when the time arrives. I can vouch for his character and have a feeling his kindness and work ethic will be an assets in positions of higher responsibility inside your organisation. I found the house keeping staff extremely friendly, patient and diligent. The lobby bar staff were also excellent bar tenders. Also Dilan with the stretching at RIU fitness was fun and his energy, knowledge and passion was well poised. Ruan

TThe Travel BugAn exceptional stay at the resort, with 5 star treatment by all of the hotel staff.
All of the staff that we came into contact with went out of their way to provide true Mauritian hospitality at its best! A highly recommended resort for couples and families.
The rooms were well-maintained with a clear sea view and a view of the plunge pool. The quality of food, upkeep of the restaurants and all public spaces were immaculate!
Many exciting water activities that were complementary with our stay as well as various themes provided at dinner time to keep guests entertained. Kevin and his team will be sure that you leave with the biggest smile on your face after each meal!

PPengguna TetamuAnantara is a very beautiful resort. Decor is top notch and comfortable. The staff provides excellent service and assistance is always available. The resort is a beach front property with a lot of activities. This property is amazing and you won’t go wrong by choosing it. Yusef , Cintia, Karim, Sharonne, Paul, and many more of the staff ( I’m bad with names) , will attend to all your needs.

PPengguna Tetamu這個酒店硬件普通吧，感覺不值千元RMB。
離商場很近，旁邊一應俱全，周邊的路很好。可以看到印度洋的落日。圖中是我在房間窗口實拍的。
但是有兩個我覺得設計的比較奇葩的點：
1、浴室是部分無遮擋的玻璃設計，在外面的人可以透過玻璃看到裏面淋浴的人，對於帶娃的我，覺得有點尷尬，情侶可以忽略
2、廁所燈浴室燈是關不了的，衹能通過拔房卡斷房間電來實現關燈，很通透不關燈是沒有辦法入睡的。
關於這兩點，我覺得是存在着bug的，我認為應該有解決辦法，所以我兩次都打過電話和reception確認，這兩點酒店都回復所有房間都是一樣的，並不是單個房間的問題。
但是工作人員真是很好，他們幫我們訂車，幫我解決問題，都很熱情友好。
