We had a wonderfully relaxing week at the Maritim Mauritius which we booked as a last minute deal. The hotel was quiet because it is supposed to be the rainy season, but actually we had fabulous weather. The hotel is well designed so although it is large, the rooms are spread over a wide area which makes it feel more intimate. The grounds are stunning and beautifully kept. Our room was lovely. My only criticism would be that the walls area little thin- we were woken up on several mornings by our next door neighbours’ alarm clock. The food was generally good but generally we found it best to stick to the buffet evening meals rather than the alternative restaurants. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff who were superb. The service is friendly and relaxed but attentive. Of particular note we’re Nish on the bar and Sanjiv on the door but there were numerous others we could mention if we had known their names ( name badges would be very helpful). Thank you all for a fantastic week.

My and my boyfriend Harrison stayed at the Ravenala attitude hotel last week for 11 days we had the best holiday of our lives! Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful the rooms are huge and so picturesque the beds are so comfy! The food at the hotel buffet was the best I've experienced. The beach is stunning always enough beds , same with the pool. The evenings always had a great vibe with the live entertainment , the dance floor was always full of all ages. Our stay was made so special by the staff , every time we walked through the lobby they was always so nice and so attentive , every need was met and everyone we spoke to was lovely we want to especially thank Himansha, Hans , Linley and Ismail for going above and beyond for us! We celebrated both our birthdays at this resort we had surprise birthday cakes which we're delicious, rooms decorated and towards the end of the trip a room upgrade to the sea front suites which where incredible the views from these rooms are amazing plus you get your own beach front comfy beds ! If you want to stay at a hotel that is picture perfect with amazing food , great entertainment and to be surrounded by amazing people book this hotel!! Also I would say after travelling around the Island this location is great as it's close to grand baie and Port Louis which are such a good day / night out. First holiday I've cried at the airport not wanting to leave. Will 100% be returning!!

The Oberoi Mauritius has been by far the best hotel that we have stayed, this comment is made based on traveling across the world and not limited to travels in Mauritius. The staff paid careful attention to satisfying our every need and personal food requests that were happily accommodated by the hotel’s chef. Having fallen ill while traveling, the hotel doctor was readily available for a consult and prescribed medication within a timely manner. The visit to the spa was relaxing and all rooms were well-maintained. The therapist was able to provide treatments on our individual needs. The room was beautifully decorated with a private pool and garden, this meant that we were lucky enough to have our breakfast with a magnificent sea view🌊. Overall a true five star ⭐️ hotel that delivers an exceptional experience to its guests. Well done Oberoi Team⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
