Superbes chambres spacieuses, avec grandes salles de douche et petits déjeuners très variés.
L'accueil était convivial et très pro.
Un bémol sur la propreté qui pourrait, pour un 3*, être plus pointue (moisissures dans la sdb près de la douche, traces sur le mur près des WC, fissures au plafond...). Un des matelas sur lits doubles à revoir (on sent le vécu).
Dommage, car c'est un beau rapport qualité prix.

Je recommande cet hôtel . Habituellement nous réservons chaque année dans le B&B « Le Haillan » nos 6 nuits étaient une première ici , nous repartons satisfait . Chambre calme plutôt grande pour un B&B , parking beaucoup plus grand que le Haillan . Nous aimons aussi le principe de rentré par l’extérieur directement dans la chambre sans passer par le hall d’entrée . Hôtel agréable non bruyant proche de la rocade et de plein de restaurants et nous avons économiser 60€ par rapport au Haillan pour le même nombres de nuits .

Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil est agréable et bien décoré, sans rien demander on nous informe d’un sur classement, belle surprise., chambre magnifique. Très vite on déchante, une odeur insoutenable dans la chambre( pique les yeux et la gorge), un technicien vient constater sans solution, On nous change de chambre. Chambre alors bruyante, plus petite, plus de café, plus de surclassement… lit d’appoint à 15€ avec impossibilité de dormir dedans (barres de lit) contrainte de mettre le matelas par terre… Aucune info donnée sur salle sa spa et fitness que l’on découvrira sur un panneau en partant. Bref un séjour décevant pour le prix .

We arrived at the Novotel gare saint jean, Bordeaux with realistic expectation of a four stars hotel experience. Comfortable room with excellent costumer service. We were unfortunately in for a surprise. We were greeted by an intense smell of sewer in the room. A very small toilet where we could barely sit with what looked like an old western saloon door. Toilet brush missing: After informing the reception, the stuff brought us a dirty toilet brush at the reception and hand it to us to carry back to our room. Room cleaning: We were presented with the option to pick the room cleaning days at our arrival. We picked every other day and for some reason the intermittence was totally misunderstood. The room was not cleaned when agreed. Once again we went to report to the reception. We were promised that someone was at least going to empty our trash can, bring a clean set of fresh towels and two vouchers for free drinks at the hotel bar because the cleaning time was far gone which we accepted. Unfortunately stuff never showed up to pick the trash nor with the set of fresh towels or vouchers that evening. Bath drainage malfunctioning: Clearly not functioning properly. Water filling the tiny shower floor which is about 0.80 inc or 2 cm and if not shut immediately to wait for the slow drainage to actually happen, the water will spill over. Beside that, the shower head covered with limestone etc… At the end the management gifted us a package of their body care product for the inconvenience. If hotel stars still mean anything I do not believe we had a 4 stars or even a 3 stars hotel experience.

Lovely stay at hotel. Location was ideal for travelling by tram. Lovely pool and sun loungers. Like the extra touches by the hotel. Fresh beach towels provided for swimming, water dispenser. Room was nice and cleaned daily. Great value hotel. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice and restocked frequently.

Bien placé à la sortie de Bordeaux, c'est un hôtel propre, literie très correct et chambres bien insonorisées, l'accueil est courtois et pro, petit déjeuné assez riche, mais les viennoiseries sont trop peu cuites à mon goût. Il y a un parking sécurisé et gratuit pour les résidents de l'hôtel et des restaurants accessibles à pied en 1 min !

We had booked this hotel for 7 days. There is a tramline into Bordeaux that goes from outside the hotel and takes about 30 minutes. We bought a 7 day ticket and used it every day so excellent value but the trams are very busy sometimes so we had to stand on some trips. If you're staying here and don't want to use the tram then you'll definitely need a car as it's basically on the side of the motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Rooms are big and clean. Nice and quiet. Loads of parking. Breakfast was okay. The pool is very small (not really big enough to swim in it) and not heated so we didn't use it. Overall a nice hotel, but probably more suited for business use or stop overs due to location.

PPengguna TetamuI visited Quality Suites Bordeaux Merignac in May 2021 for a family trip. We were warmly welcomed and given all the explanations regarding the hotel facilities and rooms. The reception staff was well prepared, with friendly approach: they made us feel home. The hotel restaurant was closed due to COVID restrictions, but the staff gave us plenty of support for ordering food from some outside restaurants. The hotel has a large free parking, a nice bar and a very good selection of wines. The room was spacious, cleaning was well done and it was a pleasure to sleep in a bed equipped with a new excellent mattress. We used the kitchenette to cook and we found it well equipped with all sort of cutlery and cooking tools. I'm overall very satisfied and I would like to thank the staff for making so enjoyable our stay, we will definitely return.

PPengguna TetamuYes this is a basic hotel which gives you what you need in a room but I would like to say how fantastic the staff were on our short visit. Every need was met and they went above and beyond. From opening up an adjoining room so we had enough room to iron a bridesmaid dress to tumble drying our wet swimming gear, holding a baby bath whilst we attended a wedding in cognac and holding our luggage whilst we had a day out in Bordeaux…all done with a smile. They absolutely made our trip travelling with a baby so much less stressful. Also going in the middle of august the rooms are so cool and comfortable. It’s around the corner from lovely places to eat and the tram stop is two minutes away for easy access to airport and Bordeaux. It’s no frills but would definitely stay again - thank you Kyriad!

PPengguna TetamuDe passage dans cet établissement, nous nous sommes présentés sur le parking. Étant handicapé, je me stationne habituellement sur les places dédiées à ce handicap. Or, lors de notre arrivée, nous constatons que toutes les places handicapées sont occupées, ce qui est tout de même un manque de chance étonnant. Donc nous sommes obligés de nous stationner sur une place de valide et galérer à décharger nos affaires. En arrivant à la réception, nous demandons si il y a une réunion d’handicapés dans l’hôtel? La réceptionniste, gênée, nous explique que non et nous indique que les place vont se libérer. Effectivement, nous constatons qu’un employé était stationné sans raison particulière sur un place handicapée. Pour poursuivre dans l’étonnement et la bêtise, nous constatons également que le directeur lui même est stationné sans réelle raison pouvant expliquer ce manque de civisme et d’irrespect !!! Sans aucune excuse et avec un détachement complet, ce dernier et froidement, nous fait part que maintenant la place est libre!! Scandaleux !! Monsieur le directeur, prenez mon handicap et vous comprendrez ce que c’est la pénibilité au quotidien que doivent subir les PMR avec des gens comme vous. Je ne conseille pas cet établissement et je n’y reviendrai pas!!!

PPengguna TetamuJ'y suis restée 3 nuits. -Je pensais qu'un hôtel nettoyait les chambres or personne ne venait faire ma chambre qui est restée 3j identique. -Le petit déjeuner en chambre apporté la veille vers 19h (Covid oblige) était plutôt une formule intéressante parce que je devais partir vers 6h du matin pour le travail MAIS le premier soir j'ai eu du beurre (???), confiture, miel et nutella, avec 4 tranches de brioche industrielle emballées dans du plastique (???) et une dosette de café, une de chocolat et une de thé. Le lendemain soir, même chose mais exit le beurre (tant mieux) et le 3e soir, pas de chocolat!!! ils n'en avaient plus!!! à 5€ le petit déj c'est vraiment moyen. je n'ai rien pris du coup à part un peu de brioche et de la gelée de groseille. -Pour l'insonorisation des chambre on repassera, ainsi qu'un peu de perceuse vers 22h??? -j'avais besoin de travailler mais il n'y avait pas de bureau, juste une petite tablette de 30cm sur 50... -Enfin il y a un parking où il faut entrer avec un code, mais quand vous arrivez vous ne l'avez pas (normal) mais aucune place pour se garer pour s'enregistrer, j'ai dû me garer sur le parking de l'hôtel voisin (!) . Aussi, il y a un panneau énorme marqué que ”les dommages et vols causés aux voitures ne sont pas de la responsabilité de l'hôtel”. OK. Mais à quoi ça sert d'avoir un parking avec code alors si les voitures n'y sont pas en sécurité? Bref. A part la literie qui est bien. L'accueil aussi... le reste... ça va pour une nuit.
