Cheapest hotel with basic necessities provided. Best for solo traveller or group. Clean and also very near to Mersing Harbour for those whose seeking for best hotel for short stay. The male receptionist also very good and always ready to help.

I'd say Merlin Inn brings for me nostalgia of a building that stood still since the 70s. It has a rustic charm to it. The property sits on a quiet hill side, about 800m away from the sea. It is separated by the main road. Room is basic in a good way. It is well maintained, and clean. AC is working perfectly well. Bath Room is cleaned and good. There's no food or a cafe in this facility. So you need to either pack your own snacks. But that's not a deal breaker. Within a short 10 minute drive, there are food, eateries at the roundabout after the arching bridge.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com and for some reason they have disallowed reviews on the site - likely due to their poor facilities and fear of (deserved) bad reviews. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because we were able to sleep in the beds, as they were passable. However, the shower stank and was so gross we did not use it even after a long travel day - it smelled of mould and fungus. Service is poor, you are left standing in front of reception for many minutes despite being the only people there before anyone acknowledges your presence or helps you out at all. The town of Mersing is also pretty lack lustre and the only reason to go here is to get to Tioman Island, but if you can avoid staying overnight I would do so as Mersing has bad; over priced food and a rubbish filled, dying ocean.

1st time here in Pulau besar. Resort wise a lot improvement needed. Hope the management will improve more on the inside of the rooms. Food wise limited, more variety will be better and maybe can put some drinks to be sell to the customers. Staff all is helpful and great. The manager(didn’t get his name) was good. I was given chalet 9. Which I am happy about it not away from the main entrance, swimming pool. Though, one night I was mistakenly walk to different room that was make me panic!. Activity, you can rent bicycle and cycle from one end to another end, if you prefer walk do so. The view are mesmerising. Hiking/trekking was good too but make sure you are fit enough!. Also, I did manage to do snorkelling. 3 island(2x snorkelling + beach/island break) which is nice so you won’t get too exhausted of snorkelling. Pulau hujung/Pulau tengah/*cant remember 3rd Pulau. Beware of sand fly! Make sure bring any insect repellent. Bring some food/snack while you here. No ATM! Off all along the beaches my I say the beach from the jetty to d’coconut has nice beach. Sum up, thank you also Daniel Foo from the reservation, and look forward to come again in future. *do make your own activity/come on the low peak if don’t want many people.

D Boss Hotel Mersing is located in Mersing City Centre, at Jalan Ismail nearby Mersing roundabout. This cozy basic and budget hotel is across the street from Mersing River and 5 minutes walk from the Mersing Ferry Terminal. This hotel is a favourite transit hotel enroute to Tioman Island via Mersing Ferry Terminal. The guest rooms comes with air-conditioned and Wi-Fi. &

Semua okay kecuali Lock pintu macam tak safety pula and bilik air , perlu dibersihkan. Mungkin boleh guna spray stain and mold untuk memudahkan dan percepatkan kerja pembersihan bilik air. So tolak satu bintang 😅 maaf hanya sekadar cadangan. Kami book untuk hal kerja untuk satu malam. Dekat dengan pantai , kedai makan , bank dan sebagainya. Ok Terima kasih. Hotel bajet yang sangat asas yang sesuai untuk menangkap beberapa Z. Bilik-bilik kecil tetapi cukup bersih. Mempunyai beberapa serangga di dalam bilik saya. Jangan mengharapkan kemewahan. Satu-satunya pusingan utama ialah bunyi bising. Anda benar-benar boleh mendengar pancuran mandian jiran anda berjalan, setiap decitan katil mereka, barang jatuh di atas lantai, pintu dibuka dan ditutup. Dan apabila saya katakan jiran saya maksudkan semua orang di tingkat anda. Kadang-kadang kereta di jalan raya agak kuat juga. Jika anda seorang yang mudah tidur, ini BUKAN tempat untuk anda. Tangga curam, tiada lif/lif. Tiada air percuma. Selain itu, hotel ini menawarkan pengangkutan percuma ke dan dari jeti Mersing bagi mereka yang ke Tioman yang sangat mudah. Parking semalaman RM8/hari berbanding RM15/hari di jeti jadi ianya agak berbaloi.
