Casa Faena Miami Beach

This hotel, Casa Faena is a scam, people be careful! they do massive marketing on all the booking sites and use the brand of their luxury hotel Faena calling themselves Casa Faena and offer something more boutique with a normal price, but not cheap at all, they call it "our little sister" in fact there is no connection between them and the luxury hotel that they said they are related to, So unrelated that they didn't even put a sign with their name outside and they've been there for many years and are hiding under the name of another hotel (see photo) The place looks like a hostel with some decorations, the entrance is through a restaurant which is noisy in the evening and you can hear the people from the rooms, the reception is a kind of strange counter at the end of the restaurant, everything is not up to standard and very simple, not like a 4 stars hotel suppose to be. the rooms are old in the shower there is no place to put even a toiletry bag, if you want to sit down and drink Something, the hotel does not serve anything, we were assured by phone that the hotel has a beach chairs and umbrellas the most important thing in Miami, since the hotel does not have a pool, we called specifically to ask and when we actually arrived it turned out that we had to carry a chair and a towel, the hotel does not have a beach and the hotel is not on the beach at all so it is necessary Walk 10 minutes with roads and carry chairs. You are sitting in a public place with a folding chair, for the price we paid we could have taken a hotel with a pool and breakfast and a private beach with lounge chairs, we paid an exorbitant price for the Faena brand and got a hostel with a different name, simply cheating In addition to everything, the internet in the room did not work and we had important conversations at work and we could not have them, we had to go to a café in the rain to have the conversations when we paid for a 4 star hotel. We told them and waited 3 days on the Internet to be fixed and they told us that a technician is coming, who has not arrived never! They said there is a good bar on the rooftop, we went up and saw an abandoned and dirty roof with nothing. This is a scam, Hotel Faena has businesses all over the street, an art store, a clothing store and designers on everything they put their name huge and proud, only this hostel has no name and that says it all, as if they are ashamed, so why are you marketing it to people who will fall into the trap thinking this is a part of Faena? Being in a hotel for 3 days without internet when they promise you that they will come to fix it and they don't come this is insane! when we left they promised us that they would return our money and contact this website to get the money, of course we didn't get anything back.

I was told I could valet at the hotel. It was pouring when we arrived. I had to carry my bags in the rain to check in. The. I had to drive to another hotel and valet there. Then I had to get a ride back to the hotel. Not a great start to our staycation. The hotel had a very unusual smell to it. The bathroom was tiny. The noise was unbearable starting around 9:30 pm. When we left I walked to another hotel to pick up my car as my wife waited with the bags downstairs. Horrible experience. Everyone is doing you a favor. I would have cancelled on the spot but they told me it would have been more money to cancel than the actual stay. I was told by staff at the hotel where I parked that this happens all the time. They would never recommend this hotel, nor would they even consider spending $1 there. It was smelly, there was no management on staff..disgusted with the whole experience.

Great location and beautiful hotel. Everyone was so friendly and the in house restaurant was delicious!

The hotel itself was lovely, staff was so helpful and kind. Very quick turnaround on housekeeping services. Super clean. it did lack outlets in the rooms to charge devices and In lobby too. Did love how close it is to the beach. Very nice short walk. Just didn't appreciate the lack of opinions for food when you want something quick and/or cheap. Overall I did love my stay.

Great customer service. Easy check in. We came a few hours prior to check in time so the hotel stored our luggage safely until check in time. Very creative and fun environment. Lots of colours, happy and relaxed feel. Only stayed for 1 night but would have loved to have stayed for longer. 3min walk from gorgeous Miami Beach.

Adorable, quaint hotel - in the best location - we only stayed the night, but would stay again!

Stayed for 3 nights. Room and bathroom was clean. It is conveniently across the street from the beach and a public parking lot. They provide beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. First night there was an event in the hotel so dining at the restaurant or rooftop wasn’t open to hotel guests and the second night the rooftop was closed. It does get noisy at night in the rooms from the music playing in the lobby and rooftop.

The place is conveniently located and it is adorable, we stayed on a lower floor and the rooftop was closed that night, so no issue with noise. The bed, however, is SO uncomfortable, like sleeping in coils. No parking or valet, there is a lot across the street.

We had a great stay at Casa Faena. The atmosphere is beautiful but it’s an older hotel and has its cons. Limited outlets, thin walls, scalding hot water, and the no parking situation was a bit inconvenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the location is excellent.
