Situated a few streets up from the centre of Brera this was the perfect hotel for a city break. My mother and I shared the Junior suit which was fabulous. The smallness of the hotel was lovely too as it was a welcome break from the bustling city centre. The staff where outstanding and considerate that we only spoke English. Each morning we had breakfast in the downstairs lounge which had a fabulous range of pastries, cooked food and fruits. In the evenings the lounge is transformed into a vibrant cocktail bar and restaurant which was booked up every night! If I was too come back to Milan I would love to stay here again and will defiantly look to stay in similar style hotels in other cities. Thank you for having us.

Excellent hotel. The restaurant is really outstanding. Service top notch! Food is one of the best in Brera! Atena at the front desk was amazing even before we arrived there. She gave us an above average attention and tried to be as helpful as possible.

The hotel is a work of art. The staff is really helpful. Loved being on the park and close to so many amazing restaurants. Bathrooms are new and spacious. Beds are really comfortable. The only issue is we put the do not disturb on our door. Told the staff not to clean the room. Came home from lunch and they were in our room. It made our young kids really uncomfortable.

It pains me to write this because this is a pretty charming hotel that unfortunately suffers from poor management. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. It is so beautifully appointed and the location is fantastic. On my last trip there in July of 2024 I was informed at check in that they were working on repairing an air-conditioning problem. This is an expensive boutique 5 star hotel and over the two days that we were there the problem was never rectified. I was told by management that there would be some sort of compensation for my 2 night $1200 stay due to the fact that the room was boiling and sleep was hard to come by. It was absolutely TERRIBLE and you couldn't open the windows to cool down due to mosquitos. Really unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Upon checkout I was told that someone higher up the management chain would have to approve a discount on my $1200 two night bill. I was given an email to try and rectify the bill. I never got a response to my email and here I am with the burden of having to spend my time and energy fighting for them to do the right thing I really want this hotel to succeed but I feel really ripped off and felt I should share this experience. This was an EASY thing to make right. While I was there I was so kind and understanding while they tried to fix the problem. Perhaps they read this as weakness on my part? These things do happen but you absolutely have to compensate your guests. You can not charge them full price for terrible guest experience.

Do not book. AC does not work. Horrible Experience. No information about AC being broken when we checked in. Clueless staff and manager away abroad. Very expensive as well. Such a shame when location and decor is nice. Hope we Will be compensated but doubt it

The personnel at the bar is very unpleasant and rude - the location is cool but the rudeness of the staff ruined a potentially nice experience. I would expect more attention to the selection of personnel from a luxury venue located right at the heart of a Brera…………….

I’ve now stayed here twice and both times had issues. The first time our shower had no hot water and the air conditioning was intermittent at best. I put these down to one offs and was willing to overlook given the location and beautiful decor. However the second stay we also had no air conditioning and our room was 26 degrees all night. Guests have no ability to manage the temperature or air - they have to call the front desk to change the temp and even then the air barely works. Asking guests to pay 600-700 a night for rooms with these issues is borderline theft and we were offered no compensation. Horrible experience.

Pros: - warm and homely atmosphere and design - clean room - good location by Parc Sempione - lovely lounge area outside - polite and helpful staff at reception. They even arranged for a bouquet of flowers on short notice - Stendhal restaurant in the hotel is delicious (we only had desserts), and the young man working there was very polite and helpful Cons: - the buffet breakfast is poor. Only fried eggs are available as hot food, and ours were slightly undercooked

We stayed at the hotel in February, one room and one suite. It was winter. On the first night the heating did not work properly. Furthermore, there is no individual temperature control in the rooms, and it is necessary to ask reception for help controlling the temperature in the rooms. At certain hours there is no hot water (!). There was a lack of toilet paper (!). The hotel has serious infrastructure problems. There was no manager on site. We were informed that “they are traveling”. The breakfast is very poor. No variety of cheeses (just plain sliced yellow cheese) and no fruits. The reception staff did everything they could to help, but unfortunately they didn't have many options. In the end we were reimbursed for 2 nights. I don't recommend this hotel, unless they solve the problems. The decoration of the hotel is very beautiful. In any case, it is a 4 star hotel with serious problems to solve.

AN AMAZING BOUTIQUE HOTEL! We were lucky enough to stay in the VMaison Brera Hotel which was an incredible experience. Situated in one of the most prestigious cultural and commercial areas of Milan, it was ideally located for exploring what the city has to offer, as well as offering a tranquil retreat after a long day of exploring. The 5-star establishment has sixteen suites with a beautiful restaurant and private garden to accompany; each decorated as if they’re straight out of a fairytale. Every inch of design has been considered; from the most magnificent wallpapers to intricately embroidered details, walking around the venue was like an experience in itself. If that’s not enough, you can also visit the VMaison Showroom to discover, shop and plan your dream interior space with the help of their incredible team. Wonderful decor, lovely staff and fantastic food & drink - 10/10 from me!

it is now 10345pm and there is an extraordinarily loud night club noise (boom-boom music, loud voices etc) right outside our bedroom window. The floor is vibrating with the music. We are on the first floor. This is exactly what an earlier review has described. We are told this is the birthday party of the owner. . so what ? we are paying guests, with some jet lag - we want to be asleep at 1030pm - but there is no way. Complete contempt for paying guests. I wish there was an audio component to Tripadvisor so that we could show how dreadful this is. Apart from that, we enjoyed our dinner here last night after a 24 hour flight from Australia (excellent staff, reasonable food) - although we found the waitress at the breakfast this morning very rude and without any charm. We had to help some German speaking guests explain to her that they wanted scrambled eggs. She had no interest to help them or to try and understand their request. This hotel is very attractive but treats its guests with total contempt. Do not book here.

Excellent location at the heart of Brera BUT staff very friendly but not really helpful and feels as if a bunch of inexperienced students were just hired to populate the space. NO HOT WATER in the mornings - Seriously what 5 star establishment would run with no hot water despite us complaining every day! Breakfast mediocre at best - restaurant looks nice but what's on offer is disappointing. Lastly - Valuables were stolen from the room! Management was extremely unhelpful and basically said: not our problem it is your responsibility. would never go back which is a shame as the location and the decor are nice.
