Overall, we had a nice stay but the resort is not up to par with other Six Senses resorts (we previously stayed at Six Senses Yao Noi which was an amazing experience) and the value for money isn't great. To start, if these issues had occurred at a lower-tiered / lower-priced hotel, it probably wouldn't have been a big deal, but at this price point and with this brand name, you expect close to perfection. Upon check-in, we noticed that the AC vent in the bathroom was broken and making a very loud rattling sound. We notified our GEM and she quickly responded that the hotel would arrange for the technicians to take a look. So we then started to change into our swimwear for the beach, when a room service staff member entered the room to check our minibar without knocking/ringing the doorbell - he and the staff apologised profusely, and no harm was done, but it was clear that no one had communicated to this poor man that guests had checked into this room. Later that day, we were told that the AC vent could not be fixed so the hotel offered to change our room, which was great except we discovered that there was no hot water in the shower in the second room. We ran the water for 15 minutes before calling reception to make sure, after which it took another half hour to fix. We were finally able to shower so that we could try to make it to our dinner reservation on time and catch the sunset before, but alas that was not to be, as our room was also missing a hair dryer. We again called down to ask for a hair dryer, at which point we were met with disbelief and asked to check the room again (which we did, and informed the staff that it was not there). The reception staff then sent up housekeeping to really check that the hair dryer was missing (I mean, why would we lie about this??) - housekeeping realized that we truly were missing a hair dryer, then had to go find one to send to our room. Another 45 minutes goes by. Finally, we were able to show up to dinner over an hour and half late, exhausted and hungry. To the hotel's credit, our GEM arranged some dessert and wine for us in our room the first night as an apology, which was very sweet but honestly, by that point, we were already a bit concerned about the rest of our stay. The remaining days, thankfully, were mostly uneventful. There was an issue one night where the staff at Meze by the Sea overcharged us over 100 Euros by adding a bottle of wine that was not ordered or consumed by us, but it was quickly rectified. The hotel staff also did not inform us in advance of a 10% commission rate for cash advance (which was necessary due to the fact that the hotel ATM was broken that morning) or the purchase of sunscreen from the mart. Little things, yes - but again, something that you do not expect will occur at a Six Senses resort. There are, however, a few bright spots that helped salvage our vacation. First, and foremost, the staff at the Main Beach and Anhinga Beach (as well as the
