Hotel 5 Bintang Terbaik di Minakami

We loved our stay here. Bettei Senjuan was established in 1997 as an annex of Ryokan Tanigawa in the Tanigawa Onsen area, and not far from the larger Minakami Onsen. Ryokan Tanigawa is a large, standard ryokan whereas Bettei Senjuan was created with luxury and bespoke experiences in mind. It has 18 rooms, and all of them have in-room onsen hot springs. Despite the ryokan being 26 years old, it is very well maintained, and is stylishly constructed, adorned and furnished. The main corridor connecting the common area and the rooms have floor-to-ceiling glass windows on one side, allowing for incredible view of the Southern Alps range and the well manicured property grounds. The overall architecture is impressive - every wall, beam and counter has elaborate carvings or artwork on them. And in every nook and cranny, there are small but precious adornments, from a flower/vase to a traditional string instrument to a mini display of tress with colored maple leaves on the ground to signify the fall foliage season. You can spend many hours exploring the glorious attention to detail in every corner of Senjuan. We booked the ”Special Room SP” room category, which is the top suite in the ryokan. It has a living room, bedroom, a tea room, a (very) mini inner garden, an open-air bath with a view of the river, forest and the Alps, and is stylish beyond belief while still being traditional in general design and layout. Everything from the ceiling artwork and carvings to the decorations on the sliding doors have amazing detail, and really gives it a sense of place. One thing to note - this Suite is almost completely tatami-matted, meaning you sit on a floor (on top of a sitting pillow, mind you) and you'll sleep on futons rather than a Western style bed. If this isn't up your alley, I believe there are other room categories that offer more ”foreigner-friendly” accommodations. Bettei Senjuan takes care of every amenity you could ask for - their toiletries consist of Molton Brown and De Medici (never heard of the latter, however) branded items, and offer every item that anyone can possibly need when living in their own home. Additionally, there were two separate bathrooms and dual sinks/vanities, which Mrs. KI-NRT always appreciates. The in-room, open-air Onsen bath gets its hot springs straight from the source, is continually free-flowing and never recirculated. That said, we found the temperature to be a bit on the lukewarm side - most Westerners prefer it that way, but I can't help but think that Japanese visitors (including ourselves) would prefer it to be a few degrees higher. Although dining is not in-room, we had our meals served in a Ko****su (private dining room), which was good enough for us. The kaiseki meal was definitely a highlight - it was 11 courses in total (which is typical of an elaborate luxury ryokan kaiseki meal) and many of the dishes focused on local ingredients, which is one of the reasons to visit ryokans in regional locations. 以前、本館に宿泊しましたが、今回はお安めな本館が空いておらず、別館に宿泊。 温泉重視でコスパを考えると本館で十分かな？ 別館では部屋食となりますが、何かと注文の早い食事処での食事の方が楽な面も多いですし… 肝心の温泉は長寿の湯、法師の湯は足元湧出で文句なし！ 上部からの掛け流しがない法師の湯の奥2箇所は冬場だとちょっと温いですが、その分、ずっと浸かっていられるため、場所は好みでチョイスすれば良いと思います。 前回訪れてがっかりさせられた玉城の湯は今回は入りませんでした。 （循環で塩素臭が強いため、他のお湯の感動が半減します） 混浴に関する熱いコメントがいくつかありますが、多くの男性は女性が入ってくると居心地が悪くなるものです。 （混浴という名で事実上男性風呂となっているのが現状なので） 4つの浴槽がある法師の湯も他のお客さんや温度、湧出している場所などを見て入るので、女性の更衣室方向に顔を向けないとか厳しいものがあると思いますが、こちらでは20時から22時までしか女性専用時間がないので、そこは妻も前回から嘆いておりました。 お部屋の風情とお湯の良さがウリで、そこだけでもお高い宿泊費になるのでしょうが、2万円以上する宿泊費を考えると料理は少し残念な面があるのは事実です。 （お酒を飲まず食事だけの若い方には少し物足りないと思います） 個人的には温泉重視のため、マイナス面もありますが、やはり満点評価となります。

尾瀬へのツアー時に利用しました。ホテルから尾瀬鳩待峠まで、ホテルのマイクロバスでI時間で行け、とても便利でした。部屋は、トリプル室に2人で利用でき、ゆったりできました。この部屋は建物の端に位置する関係で、一面が前面ガラス張りで、窓から望む新緑がとてもきれいでした。部屋の設備は整っており十分満足でした。食事は夕食、朝食ともバイキングで、種類も多く美味しかったです。夕食は、山菜の天ぷらが美味でした。朝食はパンが美味しいかったです。

　2022年4月にけんみん割が拡大された機会で宿泊しました。宿の名のとおり川のせせらぎの音が絶えないお宿。温泉は無色透明のキラキラつるつる系。源泉を豊富に抱えているとのことでどの浴場の注ぎ口も飲泉可能とのこと。母屋の男女別の大浴場と離れの混浴露天があり、混浴露天は母屋の風呂とはつながっていません。お湯が完全に透明なので、男女混浴のハードルは高め。ただし脱衣所は男女別にありますし、湯あみ着も売店にあります。 　夕食は赤身牛を石板の上で焼くステーキをメインにした懐石。仲居さんが外国の方なのですが、一生懸命料理の説明をしてくれる。異国の地の頑張りように頭が下がります。小夜食に稲荷ずしが部屋に用意されるのですが、これがわさびの茎を混ぜ込んだ大人の味。朝食も予約時間ぴったりに行くとだし巻き*がまだきちんと温かいもの。細かいところに気配りが行き届いていました。こちらのお宿の庭には桜がたくさん植えられていますが、今回はちょうど満開の桜が風に煽られると桜吹雪になる実に風雅なタイミングでした。

Ultra modern hotel. Each room has beautiful river and mountain views. Very clean everywhere. Private hot spring bath on balcony is wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Maybe the best standard sized room of any hotel I've visited. We have visited a number of onsen hotels around Japan and this one was our favorite; both for the room and the meals. The problem here is that the beautiful small shops on the quaint street are almost all closed; and not for the season. I know business will pick up in the winter when skiers from nearby Tokyo come here but it is too bad that the shops have failed. Something needs to be done to bring more traffic and create things to do outside the hotel. The river in September is low so no rafting or kayaking. If you like to hike there are many trails in the surrounding areas.

一言で言うとコスパ悪。 １人で3万弱払って、ビジネスホテル並のツインに、激こみのビュッフェ。部屋からは廊下の声が丸聞こえで、混雑の時期に選んだのが間違いでした。 温泉も3箇所あるが、混雑。 駐車場も満杯。 県民割の時期なので、ファミリーも多く、全くくつろげなかった。 ソロには向いてないですね。ハコが大きすぎるのと、壁が薄い。女性のソロが、男性団体の話し声と扉をたたく音に、どの扉叩いてるのかわからないくらいの薄さで音がする度にびくびく。部屋割りの配慮もできないくらい混んでいたんでしょう。 景色でも見て扉から遠くに行ければいいが、部屋は狭いし駐車場側でカーテンも開けれず。 チェックインの列に、嫌な予感はしていましたが…。ビュッフェは寿司やステーキはファミリーっぽいお母さんやお父さんが我先にと大量にとっていくし、流れに乗らないと取れないみたいな変な列できるし、時間制限あるし、もう、全然ゆっくり食べれなかった…。 朝も、時間通り行っても席なくてうんざり。 いいホテルなんでしょうが、この金額(１人3万弱)だと、もっと落ち着ける宿がある。ひとりじゃなくてもリピはなし。

Beautiful and delicious! The hot springs and our room (in the old part, the 3. Building) was so amazing that we are speeachless! It is more beautiful than on the pictures ! And walking around in the traditional yukata was supercool and stylish! The food is really good and served in a topical Japanese way. The only thing that was not totally perfect was that there was dust and spiderwebs some places (but not the rooms). We love it, we will come back of we have an opportunity again!

今まで、再訪した温泉旅館はほぼないかもしれません。（白老ピリカレラは何度も行った笑→登別はあるな） 半年たたずに再訪してしまいました笑 もう、ここだけでいいかも。くらい気に入ってます笑笑 初回は車、今回は電車でした。 いやあ〜大満足。今回の友達もめちゃくちゃ気に入ってくれまして。 13時チェックイン→温泉→お酒飲み放題→温泉→夕食バイキング→生演奏→温泉→ビールラーメン これって他にはないです。感動体験。 食事が美味しい。朝食時もワイン飲める。コスパ最高。 スタッフの皆様お世話になりました。 来年もお邪魔させていただきますね〜 ガンバレ❣️ジュラク‼️

A ryokan hotel that brings you back many decades with their decor service and tatami rooms. Entrance is emboldened by a Micasa curtain and you walk into a veritable museum of beautiful kimonos in the lobby. Each area is well displayed. Free coffee and car park.

安く泊まらせて頂いているので、贅沢は言えない事は重々承知しております。 従業員の方は皆さん頑張っていると思いますが、お部屋の掃除がありえないと思います。 305号室見てみて下さい。絵画の上に蜘蛛の巣があります。窓のサンには埃が凄いです。 こけしの頭の上も可哀想でした… このご時世お客さんも少なく、従業員の削減していると思います。もし大変でしたら使用する部屋を限られた部屋数にしたらいいかな？ 掃除が行き届く様に工夫は必要かと思います。 後は、なるべく余計な物を置かない方が掃除がしやすいかなと。 お手洗い、洗面所の敷物も毎日洗う事が出来なければ、撤去した方がいいと思います。 食事の所にいた年配の方も、頑張って動いていて、私ももっと頑張って働かないと！っと思いました。 フロントの方、お見送りの方、みなさん優しい方でした。 古い建物は仕方ないですが、掃除は頑張っていただきたいです。 まだまだコロナで大変ですが、頑張って下さい！
