a very spacious 140 square meters beach front villa with private pool at a decent rack rate, the service is simply the best! average food quality is 8 out of 10 points, but the price is quite expensive, particularly alcoholic!

We just came back from this stunning resort after an 8 night stay, and it was, without a doubt, one of the best holiday experiences we’ve had. Every interaction, whether via email or upon arrival, was smooth, attentive, and genuinely warm. The resort itself is paradise. Our overwater villa was absolutely beautiful, with luxurious amenities and an incredible view. Snorkelling every day we saw reef and nurse sharks, stingrays, turtles and tonnes of fish. The housekeeping staff (Saleem and crew) did an amazing job and the villa always looked spotless. They kept us stocked up on coffee, tea, biscuits and oranges for fresh juice every day. What really set this resort apart was the staff. Every single team member, across all departments, was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were happy and comfortable. Despite the weather (it rained a lot) the staff and management team did everything to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. The reception team did their best to accommodate any request we had, they took into consideration our requests for our ideal villa location and our late check-out. If they cannot fulfil a request it’s not because they don’t want to but because they can’t. The restaurant staff were always happy to see us and really did everything to make our stay unforgettable. The dining experience was very good. The menu was varied and the dishes were consistently delicious. If you wanted something special chef Min and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to cater to our preferences. Thanks to Mohit, Hussein, Nicholas, Hoodh, Sri, Amol, Fairy, Lasitha, Anto, Anumap, Amila, Sobree (Penda) and all the F&B team. Thanks for always bringing the sunshine even when it was raining. The bar staff were just great. Special mention to Srimal for his insanely good cocktails, Tasja for always doing the extra to make us happy, and Ramesh for always serving us with a smile. The gym was fantastic—spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully maintained, special thanks to Al amin. Santosh was great in proposing complementary activities and sunrise yoga was the perfect way to start the day. He always adapted depending on the level of the participants. The water volleyball session was so much fun and brought guests together in a lively and enjoyable way. The spa facilities and location are as good as the pictures. The massages (deep tissue) were amazing and we’re still feeling the positive effects. Our massage therapists took note of areas we indicated needed more attention and were careful with injuries we had. Thanks to Nopi, Ugien and Ika. We stayed here for 4 nights with our 4-year old daughter on half-board. The whole staff is absolutely amazing and extremely attentive. Food was very good and our queen beach villa was functional and definitely had enough space. Our daughter loved the kids club and Karen took excellent care of her! The gym is well equipped. We did a tour to Hanifaru Bay which was very enjoyable. Complaints we issued were taken care of immediately and followed up by, which was impressive. Laurent, the GM, is doing a great job! We think the villa could use some deep cleaning and we missed the barefoot feeling, which is just a personal preference. Buffets had a focus on catering for Chinese guests. For us the music at the main restaurant was too loud and we missed dining at the beach directly. In general we would recommend to book at least the half board option, since prices are quite high. Be sure to inform yourself about the currents before snorkeling, because they can get very strong! We would definitely recommend this place if you want to visit Hanifaru Bay but if you are setting your focus on nature, safe snorkeling and tranquility there are better options to explore.

Quite possibly the best hotel experience I have had in a while! I stayed in one of the overwater villas with my wife and 20-month old daughter and the staff's attention to our needs well exceeded our expectations. A few examples below. a. The chef and staff at the restaurant prepared meals that specifically catered to my daughter's needs after noticing that she seemed uninterested in the usual offerings. Note that this was done on a proactive basis without us asking them to do so. b. After finding out that the menu at the Pearl restaurant did not specifically appeal to my wife, the staff at Pearl prepared select dishes which did appeal to my wife and had them delivered to the Island Kitchen (the primary restaurant) where we were allowed to dine instead. In short, we enjoyed our dinner at the Island Kitchen while also being able to relish select dishes from Pearl c. The lady at the play area kept our daughter engaged in various activities while allowing my wife and I a break to explore the island by ourselves. These are limited to a few of the experiences we have had at this hotel. The staff at the spa, gym, and the hotel are to be commended for their work! We definitely look forward to coming back soon.

Westin Maldives is the best resort we have ever stayed in. We were here for our honeymoon and everything was awesome. We enjoyed snorkeling with baby shark, baby ray, and even dolphin right in front of our overwater villa. We also took manta snorkel tour and it was a very profound experience. All the staffs were so nice and took good care of us.
