A fantastic hotel right on the beach, with an fabulous infinitely pool. The service was amazing, and the food in the hotel was excellent. I enjoyed the massage in the spa so much that I had another one the next day. I will definitely return.

Our stay was amazing! Highly commendable staff that made our stay even better with their top notch service throughout. Very clean, peaceful and great ambiance! Great dining experience with a huge range of food. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel by the beach with a lovely swimming pool overlooking the ocean. The staff is super friendly and the food top notch. Well worth spending a few days here relaxing and enjoying this setting. The hotel was undergoing some renovations since we went in low season but it did not bother us. The rooms are really good. The only thing I would say could be improved is the AC. The rooms are very humid particularly this time of year and the AC is not sufficient to overcome this even in full blast. This did not detract from our wonderful stay but it's a point to improve.

This is a long waited destination in our bucket list. The stay was really amazing from the check-in process. Full of smiles and greetings. The view of the ocean blended with their stunning swimming pool was simply gorgeous. Special thanks for the room upgrade offered to us (From fortress room to Ocean View). The room was super spacious, with all A-Z amenities and of course with a stunning sea view. Vert comfy beds, super spacious bathroom. A complementary fruit platter was also there and thanks for the cake as well. It was superb. Obtained some spa treatments which was heavenly. Special thanks for "Janaka" and "Veenavi" for the wonderful therapy and "Thush" for coordinating. They had BBQ Buffet for dinner and Breakfast Buffet. Superb food, nice presentation and the seafood was amazing. That's how a beach resort buffet should look like. Need to mention the kindness and attentiveness of "Vishwa" at the restaurant. Kudos for that. All staff personnel are well trained and know what they are doing. They even allowed a late check-out as well. What an amazing hospitality. Special thanks should go to "Himaya" at front office for her kindness and willingness to assist at every time with a smiley face all the time. She was paying attention for every little detail and every time makes sure we were served well. I would recommend this resort to anyone and its worth every penny we spent. Keep up the good work and do expect us again !

The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the staff, who were incredibly attentive, helpful, and friendly, making us feel truly special throughout our stay.A special mention must go to Thejani, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Her lovely service and friendly nature made a significant difference in our experience. The food was delicious, offering a variety of flavours that satisfied every palate. We were equally impressed with the spa treatments, which provided the ultimate relaxation experience. The rooms were luxurious, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance, and the entire resort offered great value for money. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we would highly recommend The Fortress Resort and Spa to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable getaway. We can't wait to return.

It was excellent! I am not sure how it took me so long to get to fortress! It was our first time and from check in to check out everything was perfect. The restaurant staff was great, gave some good recommendations also. The banana blossom chicken salad was excellent! Even the black pork curry and the tuna sashimi. Breakfast buffet was a great with a wide variety of eggs. A big should out to the waffle lady as well! Amazing waffles. The room was lovely. The spa is also great had a super Ayurvedic massage. Overall great experience

Amazong Hotel! It is wonderful - the smell, the people, the food... everythings perfect. They set up your room befor heading to bed, they are all so friendly! They even arranged a small cake because it was my husbands birthday! Very sweet! Only thing - adults only would be perfect!

There's no question its an impressive hotel with an interesting history. Rooms were excellent , sea views stunning and pool and surrounding facilities very pleasant. The breakfast and dinner buffet was very impressive and of the highest quality.
