We stayed here for one night as a couple on a trip. We had a car, but the hotel's parking was 1,000 yen/night, so we used the paid parking next door (500 yen/day). We had already paid for check-in on this website, so it only took 5 minutes to get our room key and go to our room. There were no non-smoking rooms available, so we stayed in a smoking room. The hallway smelled of cigarettes, so we thought the room would smell like cigarettes too, but it didn't, so that was good. There are 7-Eleven, Lawson, McDonald's, Watami, and Royal Host within walking distance of the hotel, so you won't have any trouble finding breakfast or dinner. We'll consider this as a candidate next time we go to Mito.

The bathroom is too high and dangerous to enter and exit ⚠️The faucet is very old, the manual temperature control is hot and cold, and the room is very small! When booking a room, I asked for smoking treatment. My protest was ignored and I was still given a smoking room where people had smoked before. The smell was so bad that I had to open the windows for ventilation 24 hours a day and I dared not turn on the air conditioner! The elevator corridor also smells heavily of cigarettes! The corridor in the room is narrow and you have to crawl out to go to the bathroom when you sleep inside!

Although the hotel is a bit old, it is quite ok for the price. The receptionist is friendly and good.

The WIFI service sometimes has no network. The front desk staff was very friendly. When you leave the hotel or check out, you need to return the physical key to the front desk for safekeeping to avoid losing it.

It's reasonably priced and I use it whenever I need it. My room is small so I wish it was a little bigger.
