阿蘇海沿いの好ロケーションにあるホテルで、駅からのアクセスもとても良いです。部屋でゆっくり寛ぐのも魅力的ですが、特徴のひとつである天然温泉を引く、大浴場の利用には日帰り入浴やすぐ近くにあるリーズナブルなオーベルジュ天橋立に宿泊するのも手です。（サムティの株主優待対象ホテルですが、こちらだと一人で3枚必要(ただし2食付き)。一方でオーベルジュであれば、一人1枚で宿泊可能）天橋立を一望できる露天風呂が良かったです。

The staff are very nice and services is super good !! I arrived in the evening in cold weather , staff immediately give me Wellcome hot tea and snacks which is so warm and caring!! Location is great and very closed to boat place ! My room can see the bridge very clearly ! 😀

Monjuso was amazing and was one of the best Japanese ryokans I have experienced. The service was impeccable from the way they come out to greet you as you arrive by car to the offering ceremonial tea and sweets at check in, the staff are friendly, courteous and attentive to your every need. in fact every single aspect of the stay - from the room presentation, to the exquisite kaiseki dinner and breakfast, to the modern luxuriously appointed rooms and public baths, it is clear that they pride themselves on their service and attention to detail. Would be worth it just to visit this place as it is an experience in itself, even if it was not located at one of the top three scenic views of Japan.

A Japanese authentic ryokan in a tiny calm seaside city. The staffs are friendly and they answered to all of our queries about the sightseeing spots nearby. Highly recommended to pre-request the room with sea view as I believe not all the rooms have such view. Great stay in overall, but the only minus point is that eventhough its a walking distance to the nearest station, there was no pedestrian until you reach the hotel, by which it was tough for those who have heavy suitcases. Not sure whether they provide pickup service or no though.

Hôtel loin de la gare Pas d’ascenseur , avec des grosses valises c’est très compliqué . Chambre minuscule, pas la place d’ouvrir sa valise en deux ailleurs que sur le lit . Hygiène tres douteuse , tapisserie tachée +++ ,mobilier sale ,salle de bain sale, rideau de douche moisi , literie tachée. Le mini frigo sert de table de nuit et fait un boucan pas possible. Pas de sèche cheveux. Et le pompon ,les grandes chambres avec vue sur mer ont la possibilité de faire des bbq en chambre, une odeur de graillons se dégage des 17h et envahit les couloirs et les chambres autour ! C’est écœurant

The garden and ryokan are beautiful. The hosts were so attentive and gracious. Lovely onsen and cosmetics. Charming reading room. The food was wonderful - regional food specialties - bream, mackerel, Spanish mackerel, flounder, prawns, tiny shrimp (grilled, smoked and fresh) and pine juice. A beautiful garden. Truly enjoyed this experience.
