What a beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody. It right by lake Geneva and a walking distance from the main market. I will visi5 again!!

Hotel Golf Rene Capt nestles in the town of Montreux surrounded by lakes and mountains. Being in a town so steeped in the 16-17th centuries culture, most architecture of their buildings and hotels reflect accordingly. This hotel decors likewise reflect its roots but surprisingly able to maintain them well. The location is relatively convenient, and best of all you get premium view of the lake Geneva and mountains! I have nothing to complain about as the check in and out were seamless and hotel was kept very clean. Will be staying here again when I ever visit Montreux again.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel location is conveniently located on the lake promenade and was a good base for our stay. Book a room with a lake view —it’s worth it!

We stayed on the first floor with a lakeside view which was fabulous. The Good The room was a good size with nice bathroom Bed was ok Bathroom good Breakfast excellent Staff spoke English and were helpful Pretty good location - only a 5 min walk to the ****** The Bad No aircon (but fan provided) With the only ventilation being the balcony door open, we had noise from the restaurant below and constant smell from cigarette smoke (yeah I know - everyone in Europe seems to want to die of lung cancer). We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the meals were very mediocre and of a small portion size - would rate restaurant a 5/10.

Great location facing Geneva Lake !! very noisy at night due to trains passing close to hotel !! No aircondition at all rooms and it was so hot days !!!! we were sufurring when we come to sleep !!! I appreciat the kindness od Zen from the front desk and Lady Evillene manager of front desk for their help !!

Very well located. Right on Lake. Room was 30 meters from majorrailway line. As it was not airconditioned we had to open windows to keep cool. That meant excessive noise from trains every 5 minutes. Unbearable

great location - beautiful view of the lake nice friendly staff room was a bit too small - especially the bathroom which was more like a water closet - ok for us as we only stayed for one night

Great location with beautiful views from the Restaurant Terrace. Quite a lot of the staff seemed unexperienced and we could definitely do with it more training.

Friendly staff who tried to be helpful - gave us some good advice and suggestions on local activities. But also gave us a lake view room on a lower floor, so actual views were blocked by the trees between balcony and lake. Facilities are older and the years show - has a feeling of age overall, dark areas, worn carpets, etc. The room door lock was not electronic, but a key - which took a lot of fiddling with to operate (several minutes to make it open or lock on several occasions). The bathroom was smaller, with a bathtub that had very high sides - difficult to step in and out. Breakfast buffet was excellent - large variety and good service.
