Hotel berhampiran La Sarraz Castle di Morges

Location of this hotel just by the small and usually quiet coastal road is ideal and there are great views across the lake with the chance - depending on the weather - to see Mont Blanc, Europe's highest mountain. The building itself goes back to the mid-19th century and although updated to modern standards, there is still some nostalgic touch. Check-in was easy and friendly and the superior room, which we had booked, was on the top, the 5th floor with the elevator only going up to the 4th floor, so we had to walk up on a staircase for the last stretch. There are only 4 rooms on that floor. Our room was cosy, not too big, and with windows on two sides, one offering great views towards the lake. A bit odd were the colours in the room: flowery window curtains and pillows, but armchairs in an aggressive blue, which did not match. There was wall to wall carpenting, but due to the slanted walls no pictures could be hung up. In the room was a mini-bar, but no tea or coffee making facilities. It had a small writing desk, but in general not enough plugs. The double bed was good and it was very quiet at night. The bathroom was fine. Breakfast was in the restaurant 'Le Pavois' on the ground floor. They also have a more elegant restaurant on the first floor, which was closed during our stay, and opposite the hotel entrance is the restaurant 'Le Jardin' on a covered terrace, mainly meant for lunch. Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice of items. Morges itself is a pleasant and attractive little town, with the center being very close from the hotel, also interesting excursions can be done from here, either in the direction of Lausanne or towards the wine-growing area of La Côte.

Exactly what we needed. Comfortable room and bedding, very large shower tub. The Breakfast was nice, with attention to avoid disposable material, fresh yoghurts, two coffee machines. The free Lausanne pass allowing free public transportation (and other advantages) was appreciated.

Mein Aufenthalt im B+B Hotel Crissier war angenehm. Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sauber. Es gab ausreichend Platz und alles war gut gepflegt. Die Betten waren bequem und sorgten für eine erholsame Nachtruhe. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel bietet einfache, aber zweckmäßige Ausstattung. Es fehlte an nichts Notwendigem und alles war funktional. Das ist besonders zu diesem Preis sehr positiv.

Chambre très propre et très bien agencée, pas de bruits, confort sanitaire impeccable. Le personnel charmant, professionnel et discret. Le petit déjeuner est très généreux, on peut y trouver tout ce que l'on souhaite. Le règlement du séjour peut se faire en franc CH mais aussi en euros, ça évite les frais bancaire et c'est très bien pour le non résidants suisse. Un séjour très agréable.

Good location very close to the railway station, restaurants etc and a short hop on the metro either downhill to the lake or uphill to the centre of town. One of the nice check in 'gifts' was a public transport pass for the length of your stay....handy. Rooms are a little bizarre in design and don't take a cat as you won't be able to swing it!!. Bed very small, low and uncomfortable however walk in shower in the small partitioned bathroom very good. Breakfast OK ish. Think you pay a premium for the excellent view of the lake. Reception staff very good and helpful. Nothing special about this place but handy, very clean with good staff.

Wir hatten eine Junior Suite mit Küchenzeile für eine Woche gebucht. Das Hotel ist neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es liegt in der Nähe der Autobahn in einer Industriezone, was jedoch überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe (z.B. Lidl 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt) und man kann schöne Spaziergänge zum See oder in den Weinbergen machen. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal immer sehr freundlich. In der Küchenzeile gab es eine Mikrowelle, einen kleinen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher und zwei Kochplatten. Den Rest (Geschirr, Töpfe, Abwaschmittel, usw) muss man selber mitnehmen. Wir hatten uns da nicht so viele Gedanken gemacht und haben einfach ein paar Sachen gekauft. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

The price is reasonable and room is neat and nice with an open view. The staff's service is professional. The check in and check out procedures are simple and silky smooth. There is a central railway station nearby and the location is moderate. The transportation is convenient. There are many restaurants close to the hotel and dining is convenient.

There where distinct upsides to this hotel on our stay: 1) The Service Personell where really great, and friendly. 2) The rooms where imaculate 3) We had a evening drink in the pleasant garden and where served quite late. 4) The old part of morges is very near. 5) Ecxellent value for money really. We parked at the public parking over the road, with the voucher from that hotel that was cheap and easy. you have to feed the parking meter during the day, but the charge is still very reasonable compared to other places The Pre Order Form for breakfast was somewhat confusing, but the breakfast was other wise nice. I would drop this if I was managing the place. All in all I can recommend this place warmly for couples and family travellers alike. Thanks to the friendly staff here.
