Sol Fuerteventura Jandia - All Suites

Where to start approx 1 hour 15 mins transfer Arrived on saturday wasn’t dropped outside due to roadworks happening out non-existent the whole 8nights we was there dropped approx 5mins away. Got to reception room wasn’t ready so went for lunch and little stroll around come back and was sent to room p144 which was nearly furthest room away approx 2:15pm Opened door to go in was like the Sahara desert put air con on didn’t work went to use phone didn’t work like he said phone room 9 went to reception was told a engineer would attend approx 4:45pm he arrived with the part we guess he knew was broken before giving the room to us. Still sat in room as requested by engineer 6:30 pm now says is broken beyond repair and we will get a new room after half hour NO news from engineer or hotel to advise of new room/number so again went to reception and got new room onto armband room a132. Went there whilst passing and surprise surprise engineer was in room tinkering with air con and suite STUNK of smoking and cigars engineers advised through his disastrous but helpful english to complain at reception and get a maid to spray and leave windows open. Went and got cases and dropped to room as now was hungry and bored from waiting about and baking hot! Ate dinner went to reception and the older man behind reception advised was kinda unlucky as people smoke in rooms and is standard procedure and no maids was available for spraying the room. So day one was wrote of at a loss. Pool was very nice and clean as was the day entertainment very enjoyable! Food was average at best same breakfast bit i.e eggs/hash browns/mushrooms cold/continental counter was again same old but all was fresh. Lunch’s/Dinners again no themed nights basic at best but very fresh On first few days restaurant was very clean and maintained by Tuesday was a shambles every meal tables dirty not replenished no chairs people acting like was in a 5 star restaurant staying there for hours after day one ate dinner out everyday due to the experience Evenings for some apparent reason the entertainment that was put on was around the pool and seating was the sun loungers from the day not chairs again not ideal Last day before leaving and went to phone and ask for a cab to be ordered and the phone was connected to nothing went to reception and they basically was like i don’t see the problem and i advised what if there was a accident/fire as the other residents smoke in the rooms as reception advised no would know as the phone was broken and not checked so health hazard or danger to life. Location is ideal beautiful beach’s/parade of shops Unfortunately would not revisit a melia branded hotel and wouldn’t recommend to family or friends as wouldn’t feel they would be safe if thats the attitude they take with guests lives.

I would not class this hotel has a 4 star more like 2. Food is normally just warm. Christmas dinner well my partner ended up with food poisoning. Bedding wasn’t changed in our 10 day stay just clean towels. Reception team not very welcoming at all. No places to go for the English has there’s no bars or restaurants more for the Germans . No kettles in the room had to go and buy one was told you could get hot water in the eating area which to me is not appropriate.

Not much to do. No entertainment. The area is l quiet at night. Hotel bed ok. Food is ok. If you’re below the age of 30 I wouldn’t advise staying Jandía. However it was December so mostly old folk just walking around. Expensive stay for what it is.

Hotel is fine, food situation is awful. All inklusive is not worth it. Regardless of what time of day you eat (which they try to control by locking you to eating times on checkin) the food was always awful.. this is not 4 star. It garbage, cheep, boring junk food which should not be presented in a Malia hotel. We have been in a lot of Malia hotels and this is not the standard I expect. There are far too many people at any given time for a respectable dining experience . It is a loud chaotic mess. One chef for hundreds of people.an absolute mess TBH. I would fire whoever manages the food. Everything possible is a sh*tshow. Wine was undrinkable. Not even any carbonized water on offer. We where there for 7 days and we ate out for 6 of them. I don’t think i have ever had an all inclusive that was this bad. The pool is great, but whats the point if you have to wait in line for a drink, and drink out of smelly plastic cups the smell of burnt plastic. The only thing you could eat at the pool bar where the cold fries and maybe the salad. It was dryed out cold garbage food. Honestly, i would maybe go back , as the location is fine and the room was ok (junior suite pool/sea view) , but I would book without breakfast or any food/drink differing. All inklusive is a very poor offering at this hotel and i would not be willing to pay anything or be anywhere near this kind of experience again. Even if it was for free, I would not want eat or drink at this hotel. I have no tolerance for sh*t management, and that is where the problem is at this hotel.if you can not do all inklusive well, don‘t offer it.

My family recently stayed at Sol FUERTEVENTURA in Jandia all suites for a week-long holiday and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We booked a package deal that included flights and hotel accommodation, opting for half board with breakfast and dinner included. The food at the hotel was superb - a solid 10/10 from us. From the fresh cooked meals to the delicious salads and desserts, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality and variety of the dishes. The drinks were also top-notch, but it was the food that really stood out for us. Our room was super clean and modern, and the hotel itself was very modern and spacious. Just a quick 2-minute walk from the beach, we were treated to stunning views of the ocean and beautiful sandy shores. The hotel grounds were meticulously maintained with lush flowers and palm trees everywhere, creating a truly picturesque setting. The hotel was extremely kid-friendly, with plenty of activities and entertainment for the little ones. The staff were amazing - so friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The kids had a blast with all the entertainment on offer and we felt completely at ease knowing they were having so much fun. The overall atmosphere at Sol FUERTEVENTURA was calm, beautiful, and peaceful. The entire environment was well-organized and we felt completely relaxed and at home. We were also pleased to find that the hotel was conveniently located near shops and restaurants, making it easy for us to explore the local area. We had an unforgettable experience at Sol FUERTEVENTURA and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a wonderful holiday destination. I regularly stay at Melia hotels. However on 10 April 2024 I was poolside with my 5 yr old son. We go to Fuerteventura for windsurfing and appreciate it may be windy. However on 10 April it was so windy that sun loungers were blowing into the baby pool and books and towels were flying around which was manageable. However there was then a huge gust and then 2 metal bar chairs lifted in the air and were chasing my 5 yr old along the poolside. They were spinning and at his head and eye height. I ran to pick him up and turned my body into the chairs to protect him. Thankfully they did not hit him or he could have had a very serious injury. I however have multiple bruises and slashed my foot open doing this. I was given a plaster by the lifeguard and reported this to reception and have made a formal complaint. However, Melia have made no effort to check in or discuss how they will address this serious health and safety issue in the future.
