Hotel & Spa le Dahu

The hotel and staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Everything you could want, great breakfast, superb evening meals, excellent staff and a great mix of modern and traditional through the hotel. Well located close to the footbridge which takes you straight to the gondola station or the centre of town :)

We just came back from a 5 night stay at Le Dahu for skiing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The rooms are a good size, very clean and very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was fantastic and I've never had such a convenient ski bus which will take you to either lift in Morzine (or further if the lifts aren't working) and its easy to book and saves so much hassle. The spa is also perfect for relaxing after a long day. I was worried that it might be too far out of town, but it's only a 10 minute walk across the bridge, so perfect distance to walk, and away from some of the louder parts of town. The real reason for the 5 star review was the family owners and other staff colleagues at the hotel. It doesn't feel like a you're in a hotel providing a service, it feels like you are staying in someone's home, who wants you to have the best time on your holiday/vacation. Every member of staff couldn't have been any more helpful, cheerful and willing to respond to the long list of questions every one had each day. It feels unfair to single out one person, as everyone was so helpful, but Marion deserves a mention, as she was super helpful with ski recommendations, places to eat (in town and on the mountain) and experiences, and like everyone at the hotel, was just willing to engage and chat with the guests. Would I stay there again..? YES!

Great hotel in a good location looking over all of Morzine and also very near the Avoriaz cable car. Lovely staff and great lounge/bar area. Restaurant menu could be more diverse and appealing but everything else was great
